Lee is kneeling in Ruki's room, trying not to weep.
Ruki's mother has led him in here and told him to wait.
The first thing he had noticed has been the dart board.
A whole collection of knives is stuck to it.
He suddenly remembers the reports of Ruki beating up boys.
Lee gulps as his eyes travel to the dart board again.
He jumps slightly when the door is yanked open.
I'm dead. Lee thinks flatly.
He turns to face his executioner... and gasps.
"R-Ruki? Is that actually you?" he asks the young woman in front of him.
Ruki is wearing her hair at shoulder-length. And she is wearing a silk kimono.
Nothing but a kimono. a mischievous part of his mind realizes, causing Lee to blush.
"I guess so." Ruki tells him.
But Lee can't hear her. He is simply staring straight ahead.
The he realizes his mistake.
Oh my God! I'm staring at her breasts! She'll skin me alive!
"Lee? You all right?" Ruki asks innocently.

Lee gulps and sighs.
"I... Uh... Sorry for disturbing... Gotta go..." he stammers.
"But you just arrived!" Ruki observes with a frown.
Tackle her! That'll buy you enough time to get to the street! his inner voice yells.
Lee shakes his head and sighs.
"It's just that we were worried about you." he finally admits.
"Really?" Ruki asks with a surprised look.
"Uhhhh... Yeah." Lee lies.
Ruki actually smiles when she hears that.
"Thanks." she whispers.
"Ruki? It may sound blunt, but are you ill or something?"
Idiot! There goes your chance of survival!
Lee can see the fire in Ruki's eyes. But it vanishes as quickly as it has appeared.
"I'm just trying to be nicer to people. For Renamon." she admits.
The blue-haired boy gulps when he hears the Digimon's name.
"Ruki. I know you miss her. We all do." Lee whispers.
"Nice to hear that I've been missed." somebody behind him mutters.
Lee whirls around and sees Renamon kneeling directly behind him.
With a scream, the boy jumps to his feet.
"RENAMON?" he yells, not believing his eyes.
"Happy to see me?" the Digimon asks with a grin.
Lee's mouth opens and closes again.
"Uhhh... Yeah. Yeah. Of course." he answers after a while.
"That's fine." Renamon softly says.
Then the Digimon frowns.
She'll kill me for looking at her Tamer's breasts! Lee expects.
"Hmmm... We did have plans for today. Hmmm..."
The Digimon seems to be lost in thought. Then she smiles at the two humans.
"Wanna join us? We're going shopping!" she suddenly announces.

Ruki's eyes widen when she hears that.
She sounded just like Mom. the girl realizes.
Then it dawns on her.
"I won't wear dresses!" she protests, causing Lee to blush again.
Renamon stands up and smiles at her.
"But you would look great in one! Ask Lee."
The fox Digimon swiftly apporaches her while saying this.
Moments later, she hugs Ruki from behind.
"Besides, I'd like you to be a little bit more... accessible." she whispers.
Lee obviously hasn't heard the last words since his head hasn't yet exploded.
"I guess it won't hurt to try." Ruki finally agrees.
"Are you with us?" Renamon asks Lee, who looks really lost.
Geez, he looks unable to answer 1+1 at the moment. Ruki observes.
"Uhhh... sure. I'll just get Terriermon." Lee mutters and nods.
"We'll meet you here in half an hour." Renamon decides.
Ruki notices that the Digimon has become much bolder.
Or has Ruki just become softer?
Well, the results have been nice so far... Ruki admits and smiles.

Mikino meets Lee on his way out of the house.
"Leaving already?" she asks, sounding disappointed.
"Just getting something. We're going shopping." Lee tells her.
"Shopping?"
"Yeah. I think Ruki wants to try on some dresses."
Mikino gasps and suddenly looks very happy.
"Finally I will have a daughter I can be proud of." she sighs.
Weird family. Lee tells himself.

Since Ruki has nothing else at the moment, she wears her normal outfit.
Jeans, her broken-heart-shirt, and her knives.
"So I'm going shopping with Lee." she mutters.
"We're going shopping with Lee." Renamon corrects her.
"Tsk. As if you could actually walk next to us."
"Of course, watch me."
Ruki frowns and turns towards her Digimon.
Renamon is standing next to her and closes her eyes in concentration.
The air around her seems to blur for some moments.
When Ruki's view clears again, Renamon is gone.
At least, her old form. Ruki gasps when she sees that she is now standing next to a woman.
A human woman. A beautiful human woman.
"Is that... you?" Ruki whispers in amazement.
The woman looks twenty, maybe twenty-two. Her long blonde hair falls over her shoulders.
She is wearing a yellow shirt and matching trousers.
The shirt also has a large Yin-Yang symbol printed onto its front.
Just like Renamon, the woman is a bit larger than Ruki.
"It's a mixtue of shapeshifting and illusion." Renamon explains.
Her voice has remained as unchanged as her deep blue eyes.

Lee raises an eyebrow when he arrives at the Makino mansion with Terriermon.
Ruki is there, talking to another woman.
Although he has never seen her before, the woman looks familiar.
He approaches the two women and greets them.
"Perfect timing, Lee. How're you doing, Terriermon?" Ruki greets them.
Lee's heart skips a few beats. Ruki had greeted Terriermon in front of this woman.
Oh please let her think that this has been a joke!
"Renamon? That you?" Terriermon suddenly asks.
"How're you doing, little guy?" the woman asks back with a smile.
Lee almost faints when he recognizes Renamon's voice.
"Wow... I wouldn't have thought..." Lee mutters.
He hadn't even known that Renamon could do that.
Whatever that was.

As they approach the mall, Ruki wonders that Lee hasn't even questioned Renamon's new ability.
Oh well, they have never questioned her other abilities either.
They enter the mall and browse through the shops.
While Lee and Terriermon sit down and wait, Renamon and Ruki browse through some clothes.
Renamon does most of the choosing since Ruki has no experience with dresses.
But the ones Renamon picks are really beautiful.
She tries on some of the more elegant ones, but often simply trusts Renamon's judgement.
Finally Ruki is standing in front of a pile of clothes.
"Now to do some sorting." she mutters.
"Sorting?" Rena (how she has introduced herself to some people by now) asks.
"Ever asked yourself how to pay for all of this?" Ruki asks with a sigh.
Rena just grins and shows her a credit card. The name on the card reads Rena Mon.
"The card is as real as the account. At least that's what the bank computer says."
Ruki stares at Rena and her eyes widen.
"You manipulated the bank computer?" she hisses, trying not to scream.
"They do it all the time. You'd be surprised." Rena tells her with a shrug.
"And what if they find it out?"
"Nothing. The money on the account never existed, the card has never been issued."
"Then how-"
With a smile, Renamon clenches her fist. When she opens it again, there is a small flower on her palm.
Ruki doesn't have to ask any more questions.

Renamon tells the shop assistant where to deliver the clothes.
Then she quickly picks one dress and hands it to Ruki.
"Now?" Ruki asks, having guessed what to do with it.
"Please. I'd love to see you in it." Renamon whispers.
The assistant gives her a curios look while Ruki is away to change her clothes.
"My sister's not that used to dresses." Renamon calmly tells the man.
"I see. Should I deliver her old clothes to the specified address?"
"That would be really nice." Renamon answers with a smile.
Tsk. Humans. she thinks again.
Ruki approaches them a short while later, wearing the blue summer dress.
Skirt, blouse, high-heels, the perfect lady.
The assistant coughs when the perfect lady tries to find a place for her combat knife.
"Maybe you should give the knife to the assistant." Renamon finally suggests.
Sighing, Ruki puts the knife onto the counter.
Renamon notices the D-Arc and the card holder are already clipped to the silken skirt belt.
"We'll have to get a better belt soon." Renamon observes with a raised eyebrow.
This one wouldn't last longer than a week.
"And a smaller knife." Ruki adds, startling the assistant again.
"If you inis-"
Renamon's voice trails off when she senses a Digital Field.
"Business?" Ruki asks, having recognized the expression even in that disguise.
"Let's get Lee." Renamon just answers, waving her hand at the assistant.

They arrive in the Field, where Takato is already waiting for them.
Guilmon is standing next to him, looking quite bruised.
Renamon has dropped her disguise when she had entered the Field.
"What're we facing?" Ruki asks.
Takato stares at her and blinks.
"Ruki? Is that you?" he asks, looking just like Lee had looked.
"Long story. What are we fighting against?" Renamon hisses.
"Sorry. It's a Ninjamon. He is half as tall as we are, but it is a Champion."
"A very fast one. And he has a sword." Guilmon adds, rubbing his bruises.
"Where is it?" Lee asks, looking around.
"I'm not sure. It's too fast." Guilmon answers.
"Well, Renamon's pretty fast, too. Right?" Ruki asks.
Renamon pauses slightly before nodding.
Something's wrong. Ruki observes.
But before she can question her Digimon, Ninjamon charges at them.
The Tamers scatter and prepare to fight.
"Card Slash! Speed Upgrade!" Ruki yells as she slashes the card.
Then she decides to combine some upgrades for the best effect.
"Card Slash! Targeting!"
Renamon's eyes move quicker now as the Digimon tries to sense the attacker.
And to make sure she gets it with one strike...
"Card Slash! Offensive Boost!"
Suddenly, Renamon jumps and fights the Ninjamon in mid-air.
Ruki now notices how clumsy the Digimon's moves are.
Impossible. Did the Spped Upgrade fail? she asks herself.
Before she can think of an explanation, the Ninjamon hits Renamon with his katana.
The fox goes limp during her fall.
"Renamon!" Ruki yells while she runs towards the unmoving Digimon.
Guilmon and Terriermon cover her on the way, keeping the Ninjamon occupied.

Get up! What's the matter with you? Renamon scolds herself.
She should had the power to tear that Digimon apart, but she had felt so weak.
Ruki leans over her fallen form and frowns.
"Are you all right?" the girl asks.
Days ago, she would have asked if I were ready to fight again. Renamon thinks.
Then she realizes what has gone wrong.
Right. Days ago, I would have won the fight. But now things are different.
She had felt uncomfortable the whole day. The sunlight has weakened her.
Then why did all the kitsune powers work perfectly?
Ruki is stroking her fur and Renamon can see the concern on the girl's face.
Then she notices the girl's exposed neck. It's looks as if it is inviting her.
Yes, do it! Bite her! Then you'd have the strength to beat that Digimon!
Renamon blinks as her wild, untamed side suggests this.
She belongs to you. Grow strong. It's your nature. Your destiny!
But Renamon bans these thoughts and concentrates hard on not biting her out of reflex.
No. Not like this. Not without Ruki's consent. Renamon tells herself.
"I'll be all right. The sunlight weakened me." she finally answers.
Yes, sunlight does weaken me. But only physically.
She nods as she works out her thesis.
Then my mental tricks are quite unaffected.
"I'm sorry. I've forced you into this fight unprepared." Ruki whispers.
"We'll discuss that later." Renamon hisses as she starts to stand again.
Guilmon and Terriermon are still fighting against the Ninjamon.
The Champion Digimon moves too fast for the two Rookies.
Well, then lets give them an unmoving target.
"Renamon, please don't!" Ruki whispers, but Renamon ignores her.
She steps onto the battlefield again.

Ninjamon has never had this much fun.
Three Digimon just waiting to be slayed. And after them, the humans would be next.
He has decided to attack the red dino first.
"Hey, Ninjamon, aren't you forgetting something?"
Pah. The fox Digimon again. Weakling.
He turns around, having changed his plans.
Renamon just stands there, as if waiting for him to cut her into pieces.
With a yell, Ninjamon charges forward, never taking his eyes off the other Digimon.
He stares her directly into her eyes. Her deep blue eyes. Those calm blue eyes...
Snap out of it! he orders himself.
Finally he is in range and swiftly strikes with his katana.
Renamon yelps and falls to the ground, bleeding from a large chest wound.
"Renamon!" the human girl shouts and runs towards the Digimon.
With a chuckle, Ninjamon strikes her down, too.
Then he faces the other two Digimon again.

"Why did it just stop?" Takato asks, carefully approaching Ninjamon.
The Champion Digimon had been charging at Renamon before it had stopped.
Ruki notices Renamon's glowing eyes again and can guess what's happening.
"OK, we've got some time. Power up the Digimon as much as possible!" Ruki tells them.
"But-" Lee starts.
"Trust me. You've got to kill it with one attack. Do it while it's holding still!"

The red dino Digimon has turned into a red pulp.
Ninjamon has never felt that great before!
"Now for the last one." he mutters, facing-
-Renamon.
"What?" Ninjamon mutters and blinks.
He had slayed the fox!
Before he can ask any more questions, he is hit by the combined force of two attacks.
Even while he is dying, Ninjamon can see his attackers: Terriermon and the red dino.
"Im...possible..." he mutters as his body starts to vanish.

Renamon kneels with a sigh.
She has been lucky that the trick also worked for Digimon.
Mikino has been the only practice for her Seduction skill so far.
It could have ended like Ninjamon has imagined it to be. she reminds herself and shivers.
The visualization of your own death can be quite a disturbing.
Ruki comes closer and hugs her.
Renamon holds the girl close and has to fight back her tears.
My own death has been disturbing. But Ruki's death has almost been too much to handle.
"I'm sorry. I really didn't think of your changes." Ruki whispers.
Renamon just pets her back.
She is feeling extremely hungry, but that would have to wait.
"I've got to go." she simply answers.
Ruki looks at her and nods.
"Rest yourself. I'll be home soon."
"No. We'll meet at six this evening in your room." Renamon tells her firmly.
"But what should I-"
"You could try to be nice to those two. Spend a nice day with them."
Ruki frowns, but finally manages to smile.
"If you say so." the girl finally answers and lightly kisses Renamon's cheek.
