Story starts inside a plane, where Ashley Katrinka is sleeping.
Attendant-Miss Katrinka, we're landing. Please get ready.
Ashley-? Oh, OK.
As soon as the plane landed, Ashley steps off to meet her uncle, Morty.
Morty-Is that you, Ashley? My only one cutest niece is here!
Ashley-Hi and please, Uncle- not here!
~ Ashley's (brand new!) apartment ~
As soon as Ashley was finishing putting up her belongings, she begins writing in her journal. Morty comes in.
Morty-Remember, school is tomorrow. (Ashley nods an OK) Say, I know this nice lady who moved in last week. I think she has a son about your age (Ashley looks up from her journal) Oh shoot, I believe I forgotten his name
Ashley-It's all right. I'll go to her house. Just tell me where they live.
Morty-They live beneath us. Just take the elevator when you go down one.
Ashley leaves and arrives at the lady's house. Out the door, came Ms. Takaishi.
Ms. Takaishi-Hello?
Ashley-(shy) Um…hi, I'm Morty Katrinka's niece, Ashley
Ms. Takaishi-Oh! You're Ashley? Your uncle told me many nice things about you…oh; I guess you're looking for my son, T.K.? Well, he's at the basketball court. It's next to this building on the left.
Ashley-Thanks, Ms. Takaishi.
Ashley took Ms. Takaishi's directions and went to the basketball court. There, she saw T.K. playing basketball by himself.
Ashley-(thinks: Wow, so that's T.K….he is so cute…no, don't even go to that. Just go say hi!) (Approaches T.K.) Um…hi. (T.K. stops and sees Ashley)You're T.K. Takaishi, right?
T.K.-Yes…wait a second-are you new here?
Ashley-I was about to say that! I'm Ashley Katrinka by the way.
T.K.-I'm T.K. Nice to meet you.
Ashley-Same here. I'm just wondering if you could show me around, please.
T.K.-Sure. Just let me get my things (Grabs his towel, Patamon, and his bucket hat. Places the ball next to the door.) Thanks for letting me use the ball, Yolei!
Yolei Inoue comes out of that door to get the ball. She sees Ashley.
Yolei-Oh, hi! Are you new here? I'm Yolei Inoue.
Ashley-I'm Ashley Katrinka.
Yolei-Is T.K. going to show you around? Hang on a second. (Went back in the house to put up the ball and came back out with Poromon)
Yolei-I'll come, too.
Ashley- (confused) Isn't it custom to carry stuff animals around as lucky charms? Or are you giving them to someone?
T.K. & Yolei-?!
Yolei-Well we use them for…for…
T.K.-For…good luck charms……Yeah! Good luck charms.
Ashley-OK, I understand! Whenever I need good luck, I always carry around a fake rabbit foot. Well, everyone ready?

Ashley-Thank you for showing me around, you guys!
Yolei-Anytime! Since you'll be going to Odaiba Elementary, we'll wait here tomorrow.
Ashley-OK! I'll go ahead and go home. I'll see you guys tomorrow! Bye!
T.K. & Yolei-Bye, Ashley.
Ashley rides her elevator back to her home floor. Poromon and Patamon look for coast is clear.
Poromon-I really liked that girl! She's a real lady!
Yolei-Don't get any ideas, Poromon. (flat) But you're right about her kindness
Patamon-I wish she's a Digidestined!
T.K.-Maybe…she will.
Both T.K. & Yolei go home.

Ashley-Bye, Uncle! I'll walk home after school!
Rides her elevator down to T.K.'s level and saw T.K., Yolei, & Cody.
T.K.-Ashley! Over here!
Ashley comes to T.K., Yolei, and Cody
Yolei-This is our other friend, Cody Hida. Cody, this is Ashley.
Cody-Nice to meet you.

Teacher-Class, before we begin, we have a new student. Her name is Ashley Katrinka and she is an exchange student from New York in America. Now, Ashley, why don't you sit where…the nice young man who won't pay attention with the goggles. (flat at the last sentence)
Ashley sits next to Davis. While the class talked
Ashley-(thinks-I'm so bored…maybe I'll talk to this guy) (peeks over at his drawing of a soccer player) Hey, you're drawing's cool.
Davis looks up and saw Ashley.
Davis-Um…thanks, um…
Ashley-Not much of a listener? It's OK. I used to be like that. I'm Ashley Katrinka.
Davis-I'm Davis Motomiya. Good to meet'cha.
Kari-Hey, Ashley.
Ashley turns around and sees Kari.
Davis-That's Kari Kamiya (goes dreamy and starts a new drawing)
Ashley-Is he OK?
Kari-Don't worry. He's like that sometimes. I'm Kari Kamiya, like Davis said.
Ashley-I really like Japan. There are so many nice people here…

T.K. comes over to Kari and Ashley.

Ashley looking at her (unknown). Saw Cody and puts it up.

Davis-Sounds good to me. I gotta go to the computer lab. Just…head down to… that hall…
Ashley walks Davis to the computer lab door.

Ashley-What's wrong with me coming in-(saw the Digidestined and their Digimon) here?(looks around confused)T.K.? Kari? Yolei? Cody? Davis? What's going on?

Patamon-She came back!

Patamon, Poromon, and Gatomon groaned.

Kari-Where did you get that?
Ashley-I was packing to live here a month ago…during one of those days, THAT showed up outta nowhere!!!
Cody-I think it's gonna be harder to explain the situation.
T.K.-Are you saying that we should take her to the Digital World???
Kari-What about the Emperor?
Davis-Don't worry!!! We can protect her!
Yolei-I agree.
Ashley-Digital World??? Is that an amusement park?

Ashley- (getting up) That was weird(looks down to see her new clothes: a blue pointed collared shirt with a sparkling star pendent hanging from the collar; a long skirt, with two slits at the sides; and a solid colored pair of blue shoes) and these clothes…they're so cool!!!!!!!!
Davis-I never thought she was that much into clothes...

Digivices beeped. Ashley jumped a little

Ashley- This is the first time it beeped…

Cody-Do you think it's another Digiegg???
Yolei-Alright! Let's go!!!
Ashley-(muttering) Do things here start with `Digi'???
Digidestined walks to a cave and finds a Digiegg.
Kari-It's a Digiegg, but I don't recognize the crest...
Veemon-I know this one! That's Spirit!
T.K.-This doesn't sound like mine, but I'll try to pick it up.
Davis-No way!!! I wanna pick it up!!!
While T.K. and Davis fight over the egg, Ashley was looking at her Digivice again.
Ashley- (thinks-I believe it's mine Digiegg… I'm the only one that doesn't have a Digimon…) Outta my way!!!

Pushes Davis and T.K. & claims the Digiegg of Spirit. A new Digimon name Icykamon comes out.
Icykamon-HI!!!!!!!! Oh man! Does air really smell and taste like this?!
Ashley-Are you a st- um a Digimon?
Icykamon-What do you mean by that? Strange…guess you're Ashley, huh? I'm Icykamon!

Ashley-How didja-
BOOM! The cave was crumbling and the Digidestined started to run out of the cave.
Davis-Ashley! Don't forget the Egg!
Ashley turns and retrieves her egg and a piece of big rock almost crushed Ashley, but T.K. and Davis pulled her aside safely.
Ashley-Oh man! That was close! Thank you!
Davis-I just had to save you!!!
T.K.-(rolled his eyes)You mean `we', Davis.(flat)
Davis-Whatever, T.Z.(interrupted by Ashley)
Ashley-Today, guys??!! Let's go.
They catch up with the others and saw the Digimon Emperor.
Ashley-Who's that?
Kari-That's the Digimon Emperor. He kidnaps innocent Digimon and makes them his slaves.
Ashley- (thinks- A kid like that?)
Davis-Ready, guys??!! (everyone except Ashley nods)
Digidestined except Ashley-DIGI ARMOR ENERGIZE!!!
Veemon Armor Digivolve to…Flamedramon, the fire of Courage!

Hawkmon Armor Digivolve to…Halsemon, the wings Of Love!

Armadillomon Armor Digivolve to…Digmon, the drill of power!

Patamon Armor Digivolve to…Pegasusmon, flying Hope!

Gatomon Armor Digivolve to… Nefertimon, the angel of Light!

Digimon Emperor-Well, EXCUSE me. I brought some play friends for you all! Airdamons, Gesomon, ATTACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Two Airdramon and a Gesomon came out.
Flamedramon-Let's get in there!!!(the good digimon charged!)
Ashley-What're we gonna do?!
Icykamon-I'll tell ya! You gotta use that egg to Armor Digivolve me into something like everyone else that are your friends!
Ashley-Everyonefriends (saw the good Digimon getting their butts kicked) I gotta help. Icykamon!
Icykamon-Magic words are `Digi Armor Energize'.
Ashley-Hmm.I'm not gonna sit on the sidelines anymore! I wanna help my new friends, because they are and I wanna help! (Digiegg of Spirit flashed) Digi Armor Ener----GIZE!!!!

Icykamon Armor Digivolve to Hydrogemon, the watery Spirit!
Ashley-Hydrogemon???
Hydrogemon-I'm Hydrogemon- aka: `The Spiritual Water'. My Aquatic Cannon will pummel my targets so hard; they'll call for a KO. You 5, keep at the Airdramons. I'll settle with the Gesomon!
Hydrogemon makes an ambushing beeline for Gesomon and attacks. Pegasusmon and Nefertimon beat the Airdramons.
Davis-Guys! The Dark Ring!!!
Ashley-Hydrogemon!
Hydrogemon- I heard `em! Aquatic Cannon!(destroys the Dark Ring on Gesomon. Gesomon returns to the ocean.)
Digimon Emperor-Why you little brats! I'm outta here! I'll be back though! (retreats)
The Armor Digimon returns to Rookie. Ashley then gets a D-terminal.
Ashley-Aw----------COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so awesome!
Davis-Glad you're happy about that.
T.K.-Are you crazy?! You were almost killed!
Ashley-Yeah, I know. But…thanks for rescuing me, guys.

Davis and T.K.-Anytime!
Cody-I think it's time to go home
Ashley-Oh…OK…

Ashley-Now I back in these clothes and Icykamon's not here…

Iciamon-I'm here! (Ashley looks down) I'm Iciamon!!!

Ashley-Hey! (picks Iciamon up) You're so cute!'
T.K.-Ready to go home, Ashley?
