Author's note. Hey, how are you guys doing? Well, here is the last chapter to my fic. This just
basically wraps up what happened, sort of like an epilogue, it's just here to answer any questions
that you still have. Wow, it took me so long to finish this, I can't believe I'm done. Again, thanks
to all those people that reviewed, you guys are the best. Anywayz here is the last chapter, tell me

The Shadow

Chapter 10

Sora rearranged the colorful bouquet of flowers on the table stand next to the hospital bed. She
looked over at Tai's sleeping body and blew out a sigh of relief.

It had almost been a week since that horrible day when Tai had been shot. The police and an
ambulance had arrived right afterwards and rushed Tai to the hospital as quickly as possible.

Izzy had called everyone and told them what had happened. Everyone had rushed to the hospital
as well, they were either crying or pacing around the waiting area, waiting and worry about Tai.
To everyone's relief, when the doctor came out, he had told them that Tai would be fine. Luckily,
the bullet didn't hit any organs or bones, but he did loose a lot of blood, therefore he was required
to stay in the hospital for a while.

Sora looked around the white hospital room, remembering how scared she felt that day. She had
been allowed to see him right after the doctor had talked to them. She had wanted to cry so badly
when she saw Tai laying on the hospital bed, his face even whiter than the bed sheets.

"More flowers" The voice broke into Sora's thought. She looked up to see Tai's smiling
lopsidedly at her.

"They're from mom." Sora walked over to the bed and kissed him lightly on the lips. "How are
you feeling?"

"Bored to death, if I don't get out of this hospital soon." Tai rolled his eyes heavenward.

Sora laughed. "I see you're fine."

Tai was about to answer when the door to his room opened wide and in came the whole gang.
They all started talking at once.

"So how are you feeling buddy?"

"Are you sure you're alright? Do you need a nurse or something"

"I was so worried about you."

"You're looking good today."

Tai laughed. "One at a time. Firstly I'm fine, no need for a nurse. Secondly I'll be out of this
hospital in a couple of days so don't worry. And of course I look good, I always look good. Any
more questions?"

Matt smirked as everyone shook their heads.

"Good, now's my turn to ask. I've been cooped up in this place for ages. I need to know what's
going on in the world these days, so tell me what's happening in school and stuff."

Izzy sighed. "It would seem that you guys had became the latest gossip. Everyone's found out
about Shadow and Angel. Of course they were shocked at first, but now everyone's talking about
it, talk about instant fame." Izzy rolled his eyes. "I'd advice you to keep clear of crowds when you
go back to school."

Tai nodded. "And Angel? What about her?"

This time Matt answered. "She confessed to everything. She told them about how she killed
Yatate and Tasu, and how she tried to kill Sora and Julia."

"She's charged with first degree murder against Yatate and Tasu. And attempted murder against
Julia and Sora." T.K continued.

"I kind of feel sorry for her." Sora whispered.

"But why? She deserves what's coming to her." Joe asked.

"Yes she does, but. . . she did all of this because she thought she was in love with Tai. And deep
down inside I think she was. . . a little bit." Kari put in.

Tai nodded. "And Julia? How is she?"

"Did someone say my name?" They turned around to see Julia standing in the doorway of the
hospital room.

"Uh...hi Julia." Tai said.

"Hi Tai." Julia walked over beside the bed. "How are you?"

"Fine. . . what about you?"

Julia smiled weakly. "Pretty good. I'm leaving the hospital today. I just came over to say good
bye."

"Um...see you."

Julia turned to leave. "Uh. . . Julia. I'm really sorry."

Her eyebrows furrowed together. "What for?"

"For accusing you of being Shadow."

Julia shook her head. "It's okay. You were just worried about Sora."

"We all were. But that didn't give me excuse to accuse you without evidence."

Julia shrugged. "It doesn't matter."

"Uh. . . I hope we can be friends."

Julia's smile held a hint of sadness in it. "Me too." With that she turned and left.

Everyone was quiet for a while.

"Uh. . . you guys want a drink?" Joe broke in.

"Ya sure." Everyone answered.

Joe turned to leave the room, suddenly he turned and looked at the group expectantly. When no
one moved, Joe held up his hands exasperated.

"Someone have to come with me to help me carry the drinks."

"Oh. . . right." T.K smiled sheepishly. "I'll help you."

"Oh, can you get me some food Matt. I'm really hungry." Tai raised his eyebrows mokingly. "I
would get it myself, but I'm hurt."

Matt glared at him. "I'm only doing this cause you're hurt." He grumbled.

Tai smirked. "Of course you are. And how nice you are, now go and fetch my food."

Matt glared at him one more time before heading out the door.

"You're pushing your luck." Izzy laughed.

Tai put his hands behind his head. "Might as well order Matt around now, who knows when I'll
get another chance like this again."

Kari shook her head.

"You're hopeless Tai." Sora slapped him gently on the chest.

"Ouch." Tai cried out in pain.

"Oh my god. Tai are you alright? Did I hurt you?" Sora instantly drew her hands back.

Tai suddenly burst out laughing. "You're right. I'm hopeless."

Sora turned away from him. "Don't scare me like that."

Tai continued laughing. "I was just kidding."

"Well it wasn't funny." Sora's shoulder began to shake.

"Sora?" Tai gently turned her to face him, he was surprised to see the tears in her eyes.

"Sora." He gathered her into his arms. "I'm sorry. That was stupid of me, I didn't mean to upset
you."

"I was so scared Tai. I was so scared of losing you. I never want to go through that again."

"It's alright Sora."

"I just don't want you to get hurt, Tai." Sora's voice wavered.

Tai took Sora's hand into his own, his expression serious. "As long as you're alright and with me.
Nothing can ever hurt me."

Sora smiled as tears gathered in her eyes. "Tai. . ."

"I love you Sora Takenouchi now and forever, with all my heart and soul."

"I love you too Taichi Kamiya now and forever, with all my heart and soul."Sora mirrored.

Their lips met in a kiss, that proved just how much love they have for each other.
