Izzy sat there staring at his computer thinking about what happened a week ago.
***- week before
Izzy, Tai, Sora, and Matt sat in Izzy's room when Gennai appeared on his computer screen.
“Gennai!” yell the four Digidestined.
“I have bad news, Devimon has returned.” Says Gennai.
“What!” yells Matt. “What am I supposed to tell Tk.”
“You can't tell the younger digidestined.” Says Gennai.
“Why?” asks Sora.
“I don't want them freaking out over this.” Says Gennai.
“Alright.” Says Izzy.
The others agree.
***-present week
//How are we going to keep this secret from them?// thinks Izzy.
Izzy decides to call Tentomon.
“Hey, Tentomon.”
“Hello, Izzy.”
“Is there anything we can do to help from here?”
“No, you better leave it to Gabumon, Agumon, Biyoumon, and I.”
“Alright. Bye.”
“Bye.”
***-Tk's House
“Davis, are you alright?” asks Veemon.
“No. Kari, has Tai been acting weird lately?” asks Davis.
“Not really. Why?” answers Kari.
“It's just that I talked t Izzy the other day and he seemed worried about something.” Replies Davis.
“Maybe he was worried about the others.” Says Tk.
Yolie, Ken, Cody, Joe, Mimi, and their digimon had disappeared. (captured by Devimon)
***-Kamiya House
~ “Kari!” yells Tai.
Kari turns and walks toward him. That's when a pair of eyes appear behind her and a hand grabs her. ~
Tai wakes up in a cold sweat. That's when the phone rings and he gets up to get it.
< “Hello!”
“I'm going mad!”
“Hey, Matt.”
“ I don't know how long I can keep this from Tk.”
“I know how you feel. I just had a dream that Devimon grabbed Kari.”
“Tk.”
“Don't worry. I'm sure Gabumon and the others will stop him before they find out.”
“Bye.”~
Tai hangs up the phone just as Kari and Gatomon come through the door.
“Hey.”
“Hi, have you talked to Izzy lately?”
“Not this week, why?”
“Davis said he was acting weird when he talked to him.”
“Oh.”
“Tai.”
“What?”
“You've been acting weird too. Is everything alright?”
“Yeah, everything's fine. I just haven't gotten much sleep that's all.”
“You're lying!” accuses Gatomon.
Before Tai can say anything their father comes in.
