"Flaremon digivolve to.... Diabolicalmon."

"Uh. He digivolved again!" Tai said falling to his knees. Then they heard Izzy.

"His name is Diabolicalmon. It's his last Digivolution. You have to stop him fast!" yelled Izzy.

But before their digimon could do anything Diabolicalmon took aim at the Digidestined.

"Apocalypse Blaster!" he shouted as he shot a blast towards them.

Omnimon rushed forwards and jumped in the way of the blast, taking the hit.

"Omnimon! Are you okay?" Matt yelled as he ran towards Omnimon.

"Yeah but we've felt better." replied the digimon as he got back up. The next thing they heard was Omnimon shout and a huge blast.

"Diabolicalmon, NO!"

"Apocalypse Blaster." The evil digimon shouted and blasted a hole in the barrier.

"Guys he's broken the barrier! You have to stop him fast!" yelled Izzy.

MagnaAngemon picked up Matt and T.K. and Angewomon picked up Tai and Kari while Omnimon chased after Diabolicalmon.

When they past through the barrier they saw that everyone was up in the Real World watching the battle in the sky.

The digimon dropped the Digidestined off on a nearby building and went back to the fight. But before they knew it their digimon was being thrown back. MagnaAngemon reverted back to Patamon and Angewomon reverted back to Salamon. T.K. and Kari ran to where their digimon had landed. Omnimon was rendered motionless. Then came something that no one had expected. Diabolicalmonm turned towards the children and went straight for them. It happened so fast no one knew what happened at first.

The only thing Matt heard was:

"Yama!" and Tai pushed him out of the way, and Tai was hit by Diabolicalmon's Dark Inferno Claw.

"Taichi!" Matt shouted. Matt ran to Tai and Omnimon tackled Diabolicalmon with the last of his strength.

Tai was barely breathing, and his Crest of Courage was shattered beside him.

"Taichi, please talk to me. Say something?!" Matt pleaded with his love.

"Yama, don't cry please." asked Tai.

Tears were filling his eyes as he tried to hold them back.

"Don't leave me please, not after I finally got you!" pleaded Matt.

"Don't worry, I'll always be by your side. You know that. There's only one thing that I regret." Tai squeezed between breathes.

"What?" asked Matt, tears rolling down his face now.

"That I never go to tell you that..I...Love...You........Yama." Tai said and his body went limb and motionless.

"I love you too, Taichi." Matt said burying his face in his loves chest, crying.

Taichi's body started glowing and shot a beam of light towards Omnimon. It hit Omnimon and he started glowing.

"Our power?! It's returning twofold. Tai's Courage must have given us our strength back. Let's not make his sacrifice in vain." Omni yelled as he put his sword.

"Transcendent Sword!" Omnimon shouted as he ran the sword through Diabolicalmon.

"It's over." Omnimon said as he reverted back to Agumon and Gabumon. They started to run towards where Matt and Tai was.

"Tai?" Agumon asked his partner trying to hopefully wake him up.

Matt's heart was slowly breaking into pieces as he watched Agumon start crying.

Matt looked up at the sky with his tear stained face.

"Tai, why? Why did you have to leave me like this. it should have been me." Matt said to the sky.

As he looked back towards Tai he saw everybody running towards them with Kari at the lead.

"Big Brother?" Kari said with tears starting to form in her eyes.

"I'm sorry." Matt said wiping the tears from his face and eyes. "It's my fault. I couldn't protect him." Matt said finding the power within to get up and walk away.
