[ P - Pre-Teen ]
Ken ran up. Stingmon hovered close behind.
"Davis!" Ken waved as he ran. "I picked up Raidramon's signal! Are you alright?"
"Waitaminute," Davis said. "How'd you get here so fast?"
"We took the subway." Stingmon buzzed.
Raidramon grimaced. "So did we."
Squall backed inbetween them and shielded himself with the Buster Sword. Zidane leaped in swinging the Ultima Weapon in an arc, knocking the sword out of Squall's hands. While he developed some swordsmanship wielding a gunblade, he had none of the dexterity required to utilize Cloud's enormous sword with effect.
Squall backed up and stumbled. He rolled away, narrowly missing another Ultima Weapon swing. The enchanted blades of the thief sword burned a scar in the road where Squall once sat.
"Can it, Zidane!" Squall yelled. Something along the lines of a swordfight was about the only thing that aroused Squall into a Limit Break.
Raidramon braced himself. "Stop it, you two!!"
Squall leapt straight up, with a trail of fire radiating off his sword. With a flick of his wrist, he spun the Buster Sword in a tight radius, sending a wave of flame at the group.
Zidane backed up. "Fated Cir..." he was nailed in the face with a piece of the road. The Fated Circle blasted a small wide section of the road in front of him to debris.
Raidramon sacked Davis, sending him to the ground. Rubble sailed over both of them. Stingmon grabbed Ken by the shoulders and raised him into the air as fast as he could, again dodging the projectiles.
"M...my FACE!!" Zidane screeched. "Meo Twister!!"
Zidane waved both his hands to the side. A gust of high-speed wind threw Squall, still in the air, into a nearby building. The Buster Sword flew down from the impact and imbedded itself in the ground in front of Davis.
"Tidal Flame!!" Zidane screamed.
"... Tidal Flame!!" he said again. No result.
A small blue box appeared over his head. "Not Enough MP" it said.
Davis had just finished prying the Buster Sword out of the ground. He attempted to pick it up, but dropped it to the ground with an echoing clang. Davis picked it up again.
Raidramon stepped forward. "Davis! You're not thinking..."
"Do I have choice in the matter?" Davis yelled. "That guy's going to get creamed! I have to do something!"
He hoisted the Buster Sword and hopped on Raidramon. Using both hands, he pointed it forward. "Chaaaarrggeeeee!!!"
Raidramon charged at Zidane. Davis made an attempt to swing the obscenely large sword at Zidane on his pass, but to little effect. Zidane whipped around and nailed Davis in the face with the handle of the thief sword. He flew off Raidramon and rolled to a stop on the pavement.
"Little freak! Hold still while I make some adjustments to YOUR face!!" Zidane yelped.
Just then, Squall jumped from the awning of the building he was implanted in and dropkicked Zidane square in the head. When he got up, he was holding Zidane's arms behind his back. "Now, kid! Do it now!"
Davis leapt back on Raidramon and both lunged at Zidane. As Raidramon reached his top speed, Davis dove from Raidramon and slashed Zidane across the chest. Squall disembarked himself from Zidane and backed off.
Zidane stumbled back, clutching his bleeding chest. "Augh.... you... little..."
He shook as he raised his head. "Don't... think this is over!!" Zidane turned and ran.
Stingmon lifted Ken off the windowsill he placed him on and lowered him to the ground.
Ken walked toward him, smiling. "I never knew you were quite the swordsman."
"Neither did I." Davis said. With his adrenaline depleting, the sword became heavy again. He placed it on the ground.
Squall tapped Davis on the shoulder. Davis turned around. "Yes?"
"Thanks for what you did back there. Zidane had me beat there, Trancing and all. My name's Squall Leonhart. I was pretty surprised how you were able to handle my friend's sword so well. It takes a lot of power to wield it effectively."
Davis looked around. "Are we anywhere near the Madison Grande Hotel?"
"Yes, I believe it's just down the street from here." Squall pointed.
Davis and Ken turned to leave. "Ok. Thanks." Davis said.
Davis lowered his D3. Raidramon de-digivolved and returned to Veemon.
Him and Davis were ready to leave when Squall spoke up again. "... Davis?"
Davis turned. "Yeah?"
"Is it all right if I come with you guys for while? My roommates ditched me a while back and I have no idea where I am. I have to get home and grab another one of my swords."
"More swords?" Ken asked. "What for?"
"Oh, some guy called Ultimanium was hosting this fight, and..."
"Say no more," Davis said. "We're in the same boat as you."
Squall was noticably stirred by the comment. "Do you know Ultimanium?"
"Let me get this straight.... flier comes in the mail, announcing fighting championship."
Squall was stunned. "How do you know?"
"We're here for that too. C'mon, we have to stop at the Madison Grande Hotel, and I'll lend you a quarter for a call." Davis waved to Squall. "C'mon."
********
Ultimanium sat at the base of the Madison Grande. He looked up to the horizon. The silouette of the Chrysler Building stood out above the skyline, with two strange looking attachments to both sides. He glanced down at his watch. It had been 7 hours so far, and the Gundams had no intentions of letting up their building-holding.
Goku pulled up in his limo. He opened the door and jumped out.
"...crap." He expected cameramen to start swarming him if he made a mistake in exposing himself, though strangely, no station men had been plaguing him lately. As he made his way up the stairs in front of the hotel, he noticed a man entirely in black sitting on the steps. He walked right by him.
"Go ahead, Goku, ignore me all you want. You confidence makes the mistake of not surveying me." Ultimanium laughed.

Cloud awoke, opening both eyes
Keyvan : About freaking time.
one first.
Keyvan : Damn it...
He reached over to his side. The Buster Sword wasn't there. His pounding migrane hit him and nearly set him flying.
"Urrgghhh..." Cloud clutched his temples.
Cloud stood up. Everything was gone. His sword, the Gundams, and Zidane screaming and getting chased.
".....now what?..."
Cloud looked. Squall was gone off his bench.
".....DAMN IT!! .... oh well."
He collapsed onto the bench and a newspaper blew by. Cloud grabbed it and dropped it onto his face. He lied down and had a nap to calm his pulsing headache.

"Wow! You mean it??" Davis had a mile-wide grin on his face.
"Yeah, you can have it. And take all the materia in it too."
"Materia?" Veemon was lost. Again. All this talk of Limit Breaks and Trances and Materia and Magic and GFs had Veemon losing track of the conversation every couple minutes.
"Crystals containing magic power," Squall explained. "Possession of materia gives the user magic abilities."
Davis attempted to swing the Buster Sword over his shoulder. It drug him along with it, causing him to fall on his back.
"He needs work." Stingmon hummed.
"Just try it later," Ken sighed. "we're at the hotel right now."

Silence.
Constant silence.
When you pair yourself up with an old school and more recent drinking buddy for 2 days, you're usually under the belief that exchange of memories lasts more than 2 hours.
That was not the case here.
Silence.
"Say something." Heero whispered.
"I told you," Duo groaned, "I told you everything."
"Tell me your life story if it doesn't kill you."
Silence.
"Duo?"
"Oh, sorry there. I was playing Pong on my sensor array."
"You have what?!"
"Pong."
Heero slammed his fist down on his control panel. "I want Pong!"
"Well, normally I would transmit it to you, but we aren't close enough to share an infrared link."
"Then move closer!"
"Then I'll fall."
"No you won't. Swing yourself around the lightning rod."
"If I use my thrusters to swing myself, then I'll hit you and YOU'LL fall off."
"I'm willing to take a chance."
"I'm not."
"If you can't use an infrared connection, use your satellite connection."
"Heero, satellite transmissions are for military transmissions only."
"This is a military transmission."
"No it isn't."
"It is now."
"No it isn't."
"Put it on a memory card, get out of your Gundam, and give it to me by hand."
"I'm afraid of heights."
"Then don't look down."
"What if I do?"
"Don't."
"No, like, what if I actually do look down?"
"You won't."
"Yes I will."
"You won't."
"Yes I will."
"You won't."
"Will."
"Won't."
"Will."
"Won't ."
"Will."
"Screw you, Duo."

Yolei stepped out of the hallway and into the main terminal hallway. Hawkmon followed close behind. Normally she would have to fight through the crowds to get to the conveyor to grab her backpack, though strangely the entire hall was empty.
"Helllloooo? ....... No one's here."
She took notice of the devastated skyroof.
"Oh. Maintenance closure."
Yolei lifted her backpack off the rolling bars and dropped it on the ground. Grabbing the handle, she began dragging the backpack on its wheels to the airport exit.
"I don't know what happened here, but your friends must've been a part of it." Hawkmon said.
The terminal had fallen into great disrepair since the digidestined and the Z crew passed through it. The glass had normally helped to support several of the beams on the roof, and as a result they had fallen through and destroyed the arrival booths along the way. Yolei and Hawkmon weaved through the wreckage and headed straight for Mimi's. They had to figure out what was going on.
********
The elevator slid to a stop. Davis, Ken, Wormmon and Veemon all turned and walked down the hall.
Veemon read off the room numbers. "208, 209, 210, 211... 211! This is it."
Ken knocked on the door.
Gohan was the one to answer. He threw open the door to find the other kids from the airport there.
Davis spoke up. "Is Goku here?"
Gohan grinned. "Hey! Are you the guys from the airport?"
"I believe so." Ken said.
"About how far are you staying away from this hotel?" Gohan asked.
"About a kilometre," Davis said, annoyed. "Is Goku here?"
"No, he's in the next room. I'm with his group. I need to ask you a favor."
Veemon folded his arms. "Shoot."
"You saw my group. I have no peers aside from the bald kid. His name's Krillin. Well... we saw your group, and..." Gohan bowed his head.
"Go on." Wormmon hummed.
"Well.... " Gohan looked at Wormmon. "I was wondering if I could spend the night with you guys."
"I don't know," Davis murmured. "We're staying at a friend's house... and.. well... they have some pretty grownup stuff to talk about and do."
"Do your worst." Gohan smirked.
"TK and Kari are going to score." Ken said. He was quickly silenced by Davis' idle hand, which drilled him in the face.
"Oh man!" Gohan cried. "This is going to be coooool! Can I come? Can I come? Can I COOOOOME?!"
Mimi's going to be pissed, Davis thought. "....fine."
"Woohoo! I'm going to pack my stuff and get Krillin. Talk to my dad and get right back here!"
"Pretty well educated for a tyke," Veemon said. "Do I get to score with anyone too?"
"Be happy I can't kill you." Davis growled. He grabbed Veemon by the ear and drug him down the hall to Goku's room.
