Chapter 5
Battle with Panja in the Dark

A day had passed and there was no sign of Mirai. Zamba and Hope were devastated.

Ok, if he doesnt come out of that mountain in the next hour, I am going in after him, said Zamba.
No, Zamba, its too dangerous and I promised Mirai I would keep you guys safe here, said Legolas.
Hmph!, said a worried Zamba.
Never doubt a Saiyan, he will come out on top, said Legolas.
I never doubted my husband, scowled Zamba.

Legolas left it at that realizing Zamba wouldnt be happy unless Mirai came out of that mountain.


Back inside the mountain.

Mirai awoke. It took him a minute or too to regain full awareness of where he was. He suddenly remembered his dear family. He got up and started on his way to find the other exit to the mountain. He weaved down and down into the dark cave. He could barely see his hand in front of his face. Suddenly he saw two eyes. It was Panja, he would know those cold eyes anywhere.

Didnt my wife already kill you once or twice, before?! said Mirai.
That weakling could never kill me for good, said Panja.
Thats my wife youre talking about!!! said Mirai.

Mirai then drew his sword and started stabbing at Panja. Panja fought back just as hard. It was a bloody fight. Panja nearly sliced Mirais hand off. Mirai then stabbed Panja in the heart and left him there to die. Panja wore a gold ring on a chain around his neck, Mirai took it and placed it on his finger. He suddenly became invisible, but he never realized it. He took some clothes out of his bag and wrapped it around his arm. He was in much pain.

Zamba heard the sounds of a battle, but kept to herself about it.


Mirai then made his way through a tunnel to the back entrance of the cave. He took of his ring and admired it. When he next looked up he saw light! Just then the Nsync dudes jumped out of nowhere. Mirai stuck his ring back on absentmindedly and vanished from sight. The Nsync dudes looked around for him, confused. Mirai then realized that the ring must have the power to make the wearer invisible. He silently walked past the Nsync dudes and got away. He took off his ring and pushed the huge rock that was blocking the opening to the outside.

Zamba!!, said Mirai in tears, when he got out.

They kissed.

Daddy!, said Hope.

She jumped in his arms.

Mirai, what happened to your arm? said Zamba
I ran into Panja, said Mirai. but I killed him.
You better had killed him, said Zamba.
Well I am just glad youre alright?, said Vikki and Ashley at the same time.
Thanks, said Mirai.
I think we will just stay her for the night, said Legolas.
