[ P - Pre-Teen ]

It was morning.

Everyone was waking up. Mirai realized that they were on the other side of the Misty Mountains.

"Well I guess the hard part is over with," said Mirai, ego inflating.
"Oh I wouldn't be so sure," said Gandalf, suddenly appearing.
jumped, kind of startled by his return.

"We still have quite a ways to go," Gandalf said.
"Come on, move 'em out," said Legolas, eager to proceed.
"Do we have to?" said Ashley, "I was having the most wonderful dream about Nsync."
"Grrrr," growled Zamba, "It was those stupid Nsync dudes that almost got us killed!"
just rolled over and groaned.

"Get up, Ashley," said Hope.
"Huh?" said Ashley, " And who do you think you are, telling me what to do?"
"For your information, I am a princess!" said Hope, confident.
"Spoiled brat is more like it," Ashley muttered, now getting up.
"What did you say?" said Hope. She turned to Zamba, "Mom, Ashley called me a brat!"
"Now Hope, quite lying, I am sure sweet angel Ashley would not do such a thing!" (I take no responsibility for this line! -Zamba)
went back to preparing for the journey. Ashley stuck her tongue out at Hope. Hope wanted to hit her, but thought it best not to stir up any trouble.

They finally left their campsite and started down a rocky path. They finally reached the forest and continued through it. It was starting to get dark.

"I am beat," said Vikki, in a tired voice.
"Me too," said Mirai.
"Just a bit further," said Gandalf.
walked on and stopped when they heard a strange howling noise.

"Owwhhhooooo," something howled.
"What is that, Mom?" said Hope.
"I don't know, dear" said Zamba.
"That's wolves," said Legolas, getting his bow ready.
"Climb the trees," said Gandalf.
all scrambled up a tree. Mirai, Hope, and Zamba flew up into a tree. They all sat there in the dark for about 15 minutes.

"Is everyone, Ok?" said Zamba.

Everyone said 'yes' except for Ashley.

"Uh..Ashley?," Asked Zamba.
then they heard someone snoring.

"Oh brother," said Zamba.
and Vikki giggled.
then there was an awfully loud barking and howling sound. Gandalf blasted some fireworks into the sky to provide some light to see where the noise was coming from. It was the wolves. All of a sudden the branch Legolas was sitting on broke. He fell into the pack of wolves. They started biting and chomping down on him.

"Legolas!" cried Vikki!

Just then in the distance, a fire had started from Gandalf's fireworks. In a second, the whole forest was in flames. Legolas was still getting attacked. Mirai jumped down to try and save him.

"Mirai, No!" said Zamba.
wolves then began to run away because of the fire. Mirai grabbed Legolas and ran. Zamba and Hope flew away. Vikki and Ashley ran for their lives. The fire finally ceased. Legolas was badly hurt.

"Is he gonna be Ok?" said Vikki.
"Maybe if we paint his nails, he will be Ok?" said Ashley.
hit her up-side the head.

"Ow!" said Ashley.bandaged up Legolas. Just then the Nsync dudes came out of nowhere. They were battling with some people of the woods.

"Here they come just in time!" said Gandalf, pointing at the sky.
"What's, that!?" asked Hope.
"The Lord of the Eagles, my dear!" said Gandalf.
all got on an eagle and flew into the sky. Legolas was still not doing well. The adventure in the Misty Mountains was now ending, but plenty more was to come. The eagles flew of into the night.
