Chapter 5: Brolly's Hunger and Yevon's Guard

A/N: This chapter is simultaneous with the meeting of the Z fighters and the Gullwings. Besides, I planned this to show a plot hole I discovered.

While Gohan and Yuna were discussing what to do, the object of there discussion...

Brolly, the Saiyan of Legend, flew through the air. The clouds whizzed by him, as if he was a nuclear weapon, hell bent on destruction. His wild black hair whipped about his face as he flew. The man-monster looked over a continent, and from where he was in the air, he saw a city, just away from the landmass, as if someone just placed it over the ocean.

"Feh, building a city over the water, what a damn joke," scoffed Brolly as he leered down at this "oddity" as it was to him.. He decided to charge a blast, his fist tightening as he let the power flow. Thoughts entered the brain of the monster to do what he does best, destruction. Before the blast could leave his hand though, he heard a little rumbling noise, deep in the bottomless pit all Saiyans call a stomach. All Saiyans, even the one's who are psychotic, get their legendary hunger.

"Kakarot's and this planet's destruction will have to wait," he said to himself, knowing exactly what the rumble meant. Brolly had no knowledge of Goku's death at the hands of a self-destructive green bug android. The son of Paragus lowered himself past the Highbridge of Bevelle, and landed just in front of the doors of New Yevon. He turned around and looked down over the edge. A priest of Yevon appeared behind him, obviously not knowing of his destruction of Kilika and Besaid.

"Sir, what are you looking for?" the old man with the white robe, with symbols all over the vest questioned. Brolly did not look at the old preacher.

"Sir..." the big man's sudden turn interrupted the priest before he could get another word in the conversation. The priest was obviously frightened, thinking that he would beat him to a pulp because of the suddenness of it all.

"Where is a good place to eat, old man?" the legendary one asked. He had found restaurants on other planets he and his father went to while traveling through space before, so he knew what one was.

"Well s-sir, there is this wonderful place down there. See that city block surrounded by the water?," the old man questioned to him. Brolly lowered himself, thoughts of death entering his mind, and his sneer was evident.

'This has been interesting to say the least, ever since I fought Kakarot. Ever since I left the battle against him, his trashy bastard of a son, that weird purple haired boy who was the son of the prince, Vegeta." Brolly scoffed mentally 'Who was weak as hell.

After Kakarot punched and the explosion happened, I instinctively put myself in a ki bubble. I was barely clinging to life as I floated in space, protected by that thing I had around me. What I did reminded me on what my father told me what I did when I was a baby, and how I saved him from the destruction of Planet Vegeta. Anyway, I floated in space, until I landed on a neighboring planet. I felt the burn of the atmosphere and it woke me up as I went down on a planet I later found out was Frieza Planet 100. Needless to say, it didn't feel too good landing on the hard surface without a ship.'

The warrior landed onto the city block and walked through the streets, still deep in thought. The people awed at the man who was capable of lowering himself without a parachute.

'I assumed that the false New Planet Vegeta was destroyed. Of course, I knew of the gigantic comet that engulfed that small, round hunk of rock so I walked around. In my extremely blurred vision, I saw a medical station, perhaps one of Frieza's old posts. I moved my extremely broken body, perhaps through sheer will, to that building and when I approached the door, I found that I did not have the strength to walk, so I crawled inside and turned on the regeneration tank. Then, I took my ripped apart being and with the spirit inside me, and the thoughts of revenge for Kakarot leaving me this way, and being stupid enough not to finish me. I climbed up slowly into that tank and after doing that I put the mask over my nose and mouth. The tank scanned my DNA and it filled up with that special liquid, laced with that very same kind of DNA I had. As it continued to heal me, there was only one thought going through my mind.

To kill Kakarot, his friends, his son, and maybe try to find the little bitch who was desperate enough to give birth to his brat and spread her guts all over the landscape. The regeneration had my body become stronger than ever before, and it relaxed me as it did its work. After those long 12 hours, the liquid left, and I exited the tank.

I lived on that planet for seven years, while looking around for a ship to get into. I survived because the place I landed had game and a huge forest, which I could hunt and kill for food. After those years, a couple of aliens landed on the planets surface. I really did not get a good look at them, just saw that they were purple and had two one-man pods. After they exited, I charged at them, killing them both mercilessly. I am a devil, as Kakarot's son put it so well. I leapt into one of there pods and mashed in some coordinates. The computer on the ship told me that it is the planet Spira. The life scans showed that it was much like earth in its beauty and diversity as far as life on that planet was concerned. Then I thought that I could lure Kakarot off Earth and kill him here in Spira. After his death, and the death of this planet, my plans are to ravage Earth of everything and wiping it from existence because it raised that damn bastard.

Kakarot, the bastard that made me cry when I was a baby.'

As Brolly pondered, he walked into a restaurant. From the surroundings, it was not a super fancy place to eat, but it was not some god-forsaken truck stop. It looked like a respectable place to eat, and clean enough to pass the inspections on most planets. The Legendary Super Saiyan did not really care much for its cleanliness. He was just hungry. The man-monster went to an empty table and sat down. He waited for a few minutes until a young server went up to his table.

"What will you have today, hunky boy," smiled the server. Brolly looked at her with a vacant expression, as if he was uninterested at the server with the tight clothing on.

"Two of everything," he coolly stated. She just took walked away, shaking her head. Brolly sat back, and put his hands behind his head. The rumble came back after this, and Brolly became impatient, although he just made the order. He did not say anything, perhaps because the hunger, or just because it would be somewhat dumb to go on demanding this and that after the order was just made.

He sat there and waited, until he noticed that 30 minutes had passed by.

The pretty food server walked up, having many plates on her shoulders, and as a precaution, about five forty ounce mugs of a clear soda, flavored in five different flavors called 'Moogle Cola'*. The woman laid down the massive amounts of food onto Brolly's table and the Super Saiyan started eating. Much food disappeared and the rate of disappearance was too fast for any human to achieve. The other customers could do nothing but stare and nod like zombies as the plates piled up. The server and three other bus boys took all the plates away, and she placed down the check for him.

Brolly walked up to the counter, the other customers gladly let him pass they were so astonished at his eating ability.

"How are you going to pay for this, sir?" questioned the short, fat cashier. Brolly started to walk away from the restaurant and as he opened the door.

The rotund midget wobbled his way to him. He only went to Brolly's lower part of his thigh as far as height was concerned. He tugged on Brolly's white pants.

"You know you have to pay for the meal in there, don't you ya Yevon-damned deadbeat!!" shouted the manager. He never saw it coming. Brolly's kick was fierce and fast and before the man even noticed the foot it had impacted with the side of his head. For a split second a look of shock crossed over his features before the sheer speed of the impact tore his head from his body and sent it rolling to rest on the tiled floor with still that shocked expression. The body jerked and fell to the ground where it flopped around as if it was a chicken with his head chopped off. Brains and cerebral fluid oozed from the damaged head and many customers in the restaurant got violently ill at the sight of it. Crimson lifeblood poured out of the headless body and covered the floor in a bright crimson sheet.

The customers were naturally frightened and started running around. It excited Brolly to say the least to watch all the little people there screaming bloody murder as he picked off a few with ki blasts. A group of people tried to charge at him, but Brolly charged at the small group. With one swing of his arm, the clothesline tore apart that group of five, leaving the bloody remains all over the floor.

What was left of the customers stood there in fear of the man-beast right there in front of them. One of them, a cowardly brunette haired boy looked toward the door.

"You want to escape, don't you boy," Brolly sneered, as if his voiced mirrored his cold heart. The legendary one just flew to the frozen in fear boy and drove his whole ham sized fist through the boy's chest. Brolly lifted his arm up, watching the teen slide down his arm and smiled at his handiwork as the boy twitched and sputtered blood onto his killer, out of his mouth. Brolly put his arm down onto the floor, the corpse that had slid down to his elbow went back to the floor, and he lifted his arm up.

Brolly grinned as he fired ki blasts at the other four of the group, frying each one to ashes with every green energy shot. The evil one turned his attention to the kitchen staff and flew into the room where they did all the cooking. The seven people there were terribly frightened.

"Sir, sorry for trying to make you pay for the meal!" the cook shuddered at the Saiyan.

"You die anyway," Brolly growled coldly at the cook. He punched his head, sending it to the dishwasher. The young woman shrieked and dropped the head. As she tried to run away, Brolly coldly fired a small ki blast on her legs, disintegrating them so that she couldn't walk to say the least. Brolly ran to the terrified woman and stomped on her head, sending all sorts of brain matter all over the place. The other five took knives and committed suicide simultaneously so that he couldn't kill them.

Satisfied at the fact that everyone in the restaurant from the cook to the owner was dead, he walked out.

The monster walked out of the bar, patting his midsection.

"Ah that was good, and a little killing is good with a feast," he smirked as he walked the streets. He did not get too far, however, because he was soon facing many New Yevon guardsmen, some with red helmets and flamethrowers, and some with white helmets and rifles. It seemed that more than twice as many of the same type of guardsmen appeared behind him as he turned around.

"Stop right there!" shouted one of the white helmets, the bayonet on his rifle touching Brolly's chin. The killer of all the people inside the restaurant named "The Cait Sith Cafe*" just stood still for a few seconds.

With one, swift punch, he broke the gun all to pieces. Brolly then backhanded the soldiers head, ripping it off his body swiftly. The soldiers responded to this with gunfire, but all the bullets bounced off their target, not affecting him at the least.

Brolly decided to surround himself with a small, green ki barrier. Energy collected into the barrier until it became very bright and fiery. Brolly, without warning, pushed this barrier through a 150-feet radius, destroying all the buildings, and not leaving even the remains of one New Yevon guard that was shooting at him.

'That took care of those toy soldier bastards,' thought Brolly. The legendary one levitated above the block, and went higher until he was above the city, 4000 feet in the air. Brolly charged a small sphere of ki on his hand. After a few seconds, it became slightly larger than his hand.

"Goodbye Trash!" screamed Brolly as the small ball of lime-green light came out of his hand. Once it made contact with the city, it became a huge blast, engulfing it almost as quickly as it made impact. The mushroom cloud was evidence that the once proud city of Bevelle was gone. The 20-mile radius of the crater that was once the city sucked in water to fill it up.

The city, which was the Heart of Spira, was no more.

A/N: Well, Zanarkand at least has some ruins, Bevelle just has nothing. What will happen after this Spira rocking event? Stay Tuned to the ficcie.
