(At another table, a group of women and two guys sat watching Serena's performance.)
Ryoga: Pitiful.
Ranma: Seriously... (Shakes his head and sips the glass of soda water in front of him)
Akane: I think her voice is really pretty...
Shampoo: Shampoo think so too...
Ryoga: But your voice is so much prettier, my dear Akane. (Smiles at the short haired female sitting across from him.)
Akane: (bites her lip and looks at Ranma) Hey, dummy. C'mon. It's our turn.
Ranma: (Spits out his drink) NANI? I think not, Akane. You aren't going to get my ass up there just so I can make a fool out of myself.
Akane: Oh, come on Ranma. It's not THAT bad. I've done it before.
Ranma: (Shakes his head) No, Akane. I don't want--
Akane: (Stands up and grabs Ranma by the shirt, dragging him up towards the stage)
Ranma: AKANE! Let go!
Akane: You were all ready to do it with Shampoo!
Ranma: (Pulls a face) Don't remind me
Akane: C'mon Ranma! You said you'd do this with me!
Ranma: Christ, Akane, give it a rest! I don't WANT to do this anymore!
Akane: (Reaches for a bucket of water and dumps it on his head) There, now you HAVE to!
Girl Ranma: (Dripping from head to toe) I hate you...
Washu: Next up, Akane and Ranma singing, 'Love Stinks'.
Girl Ranma: WHAT? You said we were going to do that stupid Brittany Spears song!
Akane: I changed my mind, now GET UP HERE! (Yanks 'him' on stage)
(the music starts up and Akane prepares to sing)
Akane: You love her, But she loves him
and he loves somebody else
you just can't win
And so it goes until the day you die
this thing they call love
it's gonna make you cry
I've had the blues
the reds and the pinks
one thing for sure...

Washu: (Staring through the hole) It better not rain...
(At another table, one filled with eight teenage girls, one little girl and a man, a girl with long, blonde pigtails is whining about her friends not wanting to get up and sing)
Bunny: Come on guys! It looks like so much fun! Raye, you've done this sort of thing before, why won't you sing with me? (Big noisy tears them come from the girl's widely stretched mouth)
Mina: Whoa whoa, Bunny-chan, calm down. I'll go up with you if that's what you want...
Rini: Me too!
Bunny: (sniffing) Really? Oh you guys are the BEST! (locks them both in a bone crushing hug)
