Chapter 2

"Usa? Usagi-chan?"

Usagi could hear Amis voices, but her thoughts were elsewhere. Only moments ago, a horrible feeling washed over her. She could not describe what it meant, or what had happend to initiate it, but something WAS very wrong.

"ODANGO ATAMA!!!", screamed Rei as she pulled on Usas face to break her trance.

"OOOOWW! REIIII!!", Usa counter screamed as she was trying to fight off Rei. Upon doing so she went into angry-sticking-out-tounge mode. "Why'd you do that for?!"

Rei responded with her own face, "Because you're just sitting there staring into space again!" She sat down with arms crossed and eyes closed, "People are looking at like youre crazy!" Usa looked around and saw a few people that were indeed looking at her funny. She blushed and laughed for a second then became serious once again. Rei blinked when she saw this, immediately becoming just as serious. "Usa-chan is something wrong?"

"I...I don't know...I just feel....like...something terrible has happend."

"Nani?" exclaimed Matoko as the group began to hudle around her. "Like what Usagi-chan?"

"I...I'm not sure."

"Maybe a new enemy?", whisphered Luna.

"Or...", all eyes now centered on Mina, who pretended to look so informed "....Cell could be back." The others almost fell out of their seat (with the exception of Usa). Mina sweatdropped, "What'd I say?"

Shaking her head, Matoko responded "I don't think thats it Mina-chan."

"Hai," continued Usagi, "I would have felt his ki. Demo it's just...a dark feeling. Like something bad is going to happen." Her eyes went wide, "Or....has..." A feeling of terror swept through her body as she rose and looked at Bulma. "Bulma-san, is it ok if we go back home?"

Bulma blinked a few times then nodded, "Hai of course. Demo...why?"

"I...I need to see Vejita..." she said as her eyes sadly looked in another direction. She had no idea what had happend but something screamed that Vejita was involved somehow. She caught herself drifting again and looked back at the group with a smile, "...and the rest of the Z senshi of course."

Chi Chi, as usual, didn't care much for the idea but did well in keeping polite. "Gomen Usagi-chan demo Gohan needs to keep studying. Ne, Ami-chan?"

"Hai!" She said cheerfully, being the one who loves to tutor. "Infact, we're supposed to study right after we get done here. Demo ano...Chi Chi-san it wont take very long to go to Capsule Corp. and have a small meeting, then we can get right to his studies. He's a very good student so it shouldn't take very long at all to cover todays lesson." Chi Chi had a look of stubborness on her face, but Ami continued on. "Besides, Gohan is the strongest fighter of us all. If something is indeed wrong, we'll need him. I know you don't like for him to fight Chi Chi-san demo...if he doesn't help us, then Gohan may never go to the school that you want him to ne?"

Chi Chi sighed. She knew that it was best not to argue with Amis logic. She had become very close to her since she had taken up Gohans tutoring and even lived with the Son family. "Hai...I suppose your right Ami-chan."

"So it's agreed then? We'll head home?" asked Rei. The ladies nodded and everyone got up with their bags and headed for the car.

Elsewhere....

"Wha-what do you want?" asked a man in a black business suit and glasses. He had just walked out of his company to head home for a day when a TV producer had asked to talk to him. She led him into an ally then cornered him, changing from a business suit into a white, puffy costume. At first, he thought it was some crude joke. But, as he tried to get away, she kicked him back into the ally. With the menecing grimace she had on her face, he knew that he was in trouble.

"Just relax Mr. Haimati. This won't hurt a bit...." She brought her golden bracelts together emitting a bright ball from the clash. He tried to scream and get away but all went black as the yellow light hit him.
