Chapter 1: The beginning of the end

 

 

 

It was a peaceful day in the City of Station Square; all was as it should've been. Our favorite blue hero, Sonic the hedgehog, was patrolling the streets, making sure danger wouldn't rear its ugly head while he was around.

 

Once the cobalt colored hero was finished patrolling the streets he decided to head home, bored that nothing interesting was happening at all. “I wish something fun would happen around here.” Sonic silently hoped. Little did he know his life and all of his friend's lives were about to take a turn for the worse.

 

 

 

 

 

In the skies above west city, Goku son was just flying home from his training he had just finished with his longtime rival, Vegeta. The two had trained day after day together, determined to become stronger than one another, even if it killed them. Which it did, a couple of times, but they came back stronger than ever, each and every time.

 

 

Goku decided that West city would be safe for the rest of the day at least, and began his way home. Goku needed rest from all that training he did with Vegeta; anyway, because he was sure going to need every last ounce of energy he had in him.

 

“I hope Chi-Chi's making dinner, I'm starved!” Goku prayed silently, speeding up his flying pace so he would be able to get home faster.

 

 

 

 

In the vast reaches of space, a lone figure stood atop a meteor watching the blue earth below. “Your time has come kakarrot.” The figure whispered, jumping off of the meteor he was perched on and plunging into the Earth's atmosphere.

 

 

On his way to the Earth the figure spoke, “You're going to pay for what you and your sons did to me! Then I'll destroy your precious planet and everyone on it!” he said.

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the mystic ruins, Miles “Tails” Prower was working on his computer, but stopped what he was doing when he noticed something unusual.

 

“What the…. Sonic, get over here!” the young kit called. Sonic did as his friend instructed and walked over to the computer. “What is it little buddy?” Sonic asked, leaning over Tails' shoulder so he could get a good look at the computer.

 

 

“Something's entering the atmosphere.”

 

“So, what else is new?”

 

“No, Sonic. This isn't just a meteor, it's a person.”

 

 

Sonic's eyes widened, “What?!” he asked, Tails began typing on the keyboard while talking. “It's not a mobian, and has the body of a human. But… there's no way he'd survive a trip through the atmosphere…. Unless….” Tails trailed off, “Unless What?” Sonic asked, “Unless this guy's no ordinary human.” Tails finished.

 

 

“Tails, can you figure out where this guy's gonna land?” Sonic asked, Tails nods, “Yeah, he's gonna land rrrrriiiiiiggght outside of…. STATION SQUARE!?!” Tails screamed, “Where outside of Station Square?” Sonic asked.

 

 

“He's gonna land a few miles away from here, in the jungles of the Mystic Ruins.”

 

“Tails call everyone up and tell them to come to the deep part of the Mystic Ruins.”

 

“What for?”

 

“We're about to see whether this guy's dangerous or not!”

 

“Right! But Sonic?”

 

“What is it?”

 

“Take this com link with you.”

 

“What for?”

 

“I need you to ask him if he's human or not, that way if he's not I can look up whether his species is dangerous or not.”

 

Sonic nods, “Good looking out Tails!” and with that he headed out of the door.

 

Tails sighs after the door closes, “I've got a bad feeling about this!”
