Chapter 2: Brolly: the legendary super saiyan

 

 

Sonic had just arrived in the deepest part of the jungle, deep in thought, this guy can't be an ordinary human, he's got to be something else. The only other person I know that's survived a trip through the atmosphere was Shadow, and he barely survived and it cost him his memory. Sonic thought.

 

 

The young mammal came to a large cliff, where his running ended as he began to look in the direction of the sky.

 

Sonic turned around when he heard voices coming from behind him. “Huh, who's there?” Sonic asked, his reply was some giggles from behind the bushes, and a familiar face came out. “It just us, silly!” the person said.

 

“Oh, it's just you, Amy.” Sonic sighed, “Where's everyone else?” Sonic asked. Amy pointed her thumb behind her, “They're coming, how long has it been my Sonikku?” Amy asked, running up to Sonic to bear hug him, but Sonic's hand stopped her.

 

“Now's not the time, Amy.”

 

“Why not?”

 

“Take a look in the sky.”

 

 

Amy did as she was told and was surprised at what she saw. “What is it?” She asked, becoming more interested in the burning figure in the sky, rather than hug her crush.

 

“It's a person.” Sonic replied, Amy's eyes widened, “A person?!” She asked, Sonic nods, “You mean like a human?” Amy asked, Sonic shrugs

 

 

“We don't know yet. That's why were here.”

 

 

Sonic and Amy both turn to see Shadow the hedgehog behind them with his arms crossed.

A few minutes later, Knuckles, Rouge, and Cream come out of the bushes behind him.

 

 

Rouge folds her arms and pouts, “Can we make this quick? I have some jewels to steal!” she said, Shadow frowns, “Wait, woman! This more important than you doing god knows what to get your precious jewels!” Shadow retorted. Rouge sticks her tongue out at Shadow from behind his back.

 

“I saw that.” Shadow said, Rouge flicks him off from behind, “I saw that, too.”

 

 

Knuckles points towards the sky. “Shut up! Here it comes!” Knuckles warned.

 

 

Everyone watched as the ball of flames passed over their heads and back the way they came. “Let's go check it out!” Amy said, already running into the jungle. Everyone followed except Sonic who stayed back a little as he turned on his COM link. “Tails come in!” soon the static cleared and Tails voice was audible.

 

 

“I'm here Sonic, what happened?”

 

“It landed Tails.”

 

“Okay, go check it out and tell me what you find out.”

 

Sonic turns off the COM link before following his friends into the forest.

 

 

 

 

 

The Sonic team had finally found where the being had landed. Shadow got a good look at him from behind some bushes and was surprised at what he saw, “That's amazing, he's unscathed!”

 

 

The figure was about eight feet tall and had a muscular build. He wore no shirt, a pair of white baggy pants, some heavy gold boots with blue diamonds encrusted in them, two gold bracelets on each arm with blue diamonds encrusted in each of them, a gold necklace same as his boots and bracelets, and a deep purple hair color. (I don't know what that thing around his waist is called)

 

 

“Whoa, he looks strong.” Cream whispered,

 

“I bet all that muscle isn't for show.” Knuckles added his two cents.

 

The mysterious being took a glance at the bush everyone was hiding in with his dark, black eyes. With a flick of his wrist the bush catches fire and everyone jumps out.

 

“What the…?” okay, he's definitely no ordinary human! Sonic thought.

 

 

The being looked at Sonic, “Kakarrot…?” he whispered, Sonic looks confused, “Kaka… wha…? Did you mean carrots?” Sonic asked.

 

 

“KAKARROT!!”

 

The being charged at Sonic head on, determined to strike a blow on the small blue hero. Using his speed, Sonic jumps over his attacker's fist, running up his arm he sends a kick to his face.

 

Sonic jumps back a little as the footprint he left in the person's face fades to nothing. Sonic sneakily turns on his COM link. “What in the hell are you?!” he asked.

 

 

The being chuckled, “I am Brolly: the legendary super saiyan!” the figure said in a gruff, scary voice, making Cream flinch a bit. “That's all I needed to hear! Tails, he's a super sayain…. Whatever that is.”

 

 

On the other side of the COM link Tails thought; I could've sworn I've heard that somewhere before… then it dawned on him. “SONIC!?! You have got to get everyone out of there!” Tails yelled.

 

“What for?” Sonic asked,

 

“He's not just a saiyan, he's Brolly: the legendary super sayain!”

 

“So?”

 

“He's one of the most powerful beings in the universe! I'll fill you in on it later, just get outta there!” Tails yelled, shutting of the COM link.

 

Sonic turns and faces everyone, “Guys, we've gotta get out of here!” Sonic said, Shadow scoffs, “That's just like you, faker. Always running away from a fight!” Shadow said, Knuckles cracks his Knuckles, “Yeah, Sonic. We can take this guy!” Knuckles said, Sonic sighs, defeated. “Amy, get Cream out of here!” he ordered.

 

 

Amy nods, taking Cream's hand as the two run into the jungle.

 

 

Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, and Rouge all get into their fighting stances. “HA! Do you think I can be stopped by three feet tall animal people?” Brolly asked.

 

Without an answer Sonic, jumps into the air. “We'll see who beats who!” he said, swinging his fist at Brolly's face. The giant grabs Sonic by the face and smashes him into the ground, making a small crater in the process.

 

 

Knuckles and Shadow charge at Brolly, their fists raised. But before they could swing he jumped in the air, his hands glowing green. The giant then sent multiple green orbs of energy down to the ground, causing a dust cloud.

 

 

Knuckles and Shadow leaped from the cloud of dust, catching Brolly by surprise, as they were close enough to attack him. Shadow and Knuckles attacked simultaneously, but no use. Brolly was blocking their attacks with each of his arms. Knuckles and Shadow nod at each other as they knee Brolly in the gut, forcing the behemoth over. While he was doubled over, the two sent spinning kicks to his head, causing him to plummet toward the Earth below.

 

Before he could land, Sonic coils up into a ball and launches myself at Brolly, nailing him in the gut. Rouge followed up by drill kicking Brolly in his back. Brolly retaliated by shoulder charging Rouge through the air, creating a small orb of energy; he slams it into her chest, causing it to explode on impact. He then sends a knee to her gut and knocks her down to the ground with both fists.

 

“HAHAHA!!” he laughed, creating another orb of green energy, but bigger than the previous one. He shoots it at the falling bat, only to have it intercepted by Shadow's chaos spear. “Don't forget about us,” Shadow warned, “It may be your last mistake!” “Knuckles, hedgehog blitz!” Sonic ordered, Knuckles nods.

 

 

Sonic and Shadow coil into small balls and jump into Knuckles' hands, (think Sonic Heroes) the red guardian throws the two using all of the strength his arms contained. Sonic and Shadow charged at Brolly head on.

 

The two were inches from his chest, but instead the zoomed around the behemoth's back. Brolly back flips behind the two hogs and grabs them before they get away. Without hesitating, he throws them and they hit Knuckles dead on, causing them all o spiral to the ground.

 

 

Sonic sat up, cuts and bruises everywhere, “I told you we should've ran away!” he said. Shadow sat up, same as Sonic, cuts and bruises everywhere. “Look, I don't think he's done!”

 

 

Brolly began to undergo one of his transformations. His muscles increased in size, making him look fiercer. His eyes changed from black to a sky blue color. His hair changed from a deep purple to a golden blonde in seconds, the transformation was complete.

 

 

“Prepare to DIE!”

 

Brolly began to conjure up another one of his green orbs. This one was much larger than the others it was about ten feet long and eleven feet wide.

 

 

Sonic's eyes widened as he turned on his COM link.

 

“Tails….?”

 

“What is it Sonic?”

 

“Get the tornadoes ready!”

 

“What for?”

 

“Brolly's about to destroy everything within a fifty mile radius, just do it!”

 

“Alright, they'll be ready by the time you get here!” Tails turns off the COM link.

 

“Shadow, Knuckles, Rouge let's get out of here!” Sonic yelled, forcing himself to a standing position. “I think I have enough energy to out-run this thing!” Sonic said Shadow slowly stood. “So do I.” Knuckles stood up, “I guess I do.” Rouge got up as well. “I've got enough energy to fly out of here!” she said.

 

 

Without another word the four of them fled deep within the jungle, using all the strength their bodies had left.

 

 

 

 

“I wonder if Sonic beat that guy?” Amy said to Cream as the two walked through the jungle. “I hope so, Miss Amy.” Cream replied.

 

Suddenly, the two felt something sweep them of their feet, literally. Amy looked up to see Sonic was carrying her bridal style, faster than the eye could see. Amy looked over to see that Shadow had Cream in the same position too.

 

 

“Sonic what's going on?” Amy asked, Sonic looks down at her, “The end of the Mystic Ruins and Station Square!” he replied.

 

 

Soon they were only yards away from Tails workshop when they noticed the young prodigy standing at the runway with all three of his tornado planes out.

 

Suddenly, everyone hears a giant explosion behind them. They all turn around to see a big ass shockwave coming toward them. “Come on, legs. You can do this!” Sonic silently prayed, increasing his pace some more. “Now!” Sonic, Shadow, and Knuckles all jumped through the air at the right time.

 

Sonic and Shadow hand Amy and Cream to Tails, where they board the X tornado. Knuckles jumps in the pilots seat of the Tornado 1, while Rouge gets in the pilot's seat for the tornado 2. Sonic and Shadow balance themselves on the wings of the Tornado 1 as all three planes drive down the runway.

 

 

Sonic takes a glance behind to see the shockwave closing in, fast. “Hurry up!” Sonic yelled.

 

All three of the planes clear the runway successfully as the shockwave totally decimates it. They all clear pass the fifty-mile mark and safely got away in time.

 

Sonic looks back at the destroyed Mystic ruins, “We're gonna need help beating this guy!”
