Ch. 7

"Vegeta...It seems as though I may have overestimated Frieza and the SA-X" Giovanni glumly said to Vegeta.

"Don't worry, Giovanni! I won't let those intuders come any further!"

"Make SURE of it!! You and Cell are the only ones that I have left! Don't let them get anyt furthur then this!" Giovanni roared to Vegeta and Cell. "Ash, Sonic, Yugioh and Joey were all hassles! But we won't be seeing any of them any more! Make sure the remaining 3 don't go any further!

"You can count on us!" Cell said replied.

<Meanwhile>

"Gohan! Wait! I sense strong energy heading this way!" Goku used his senses to detect very powerful energy sources.

"One of them is Cell!" Gohan said horrified at the discovery.

"I can't tell who the other is!" Goku said.

"Well, the Saiyan prince and the evil that nearly destroyed the earth! Vegeta and Cell!" shouted Michael.

"Where are the others?!" Goku threatened them.

"Oh, don't worry about them! You won't need to save them anymore!" Cell smuggly replied.

"YOU KILLED THEM!!!!!" Michael roared at the two evil's in front of him.

"Easy, Michael, you can't take them, as powerful as you are...We've got these two clowns!" Goku and Gohan said as they stepped in front of Michael.

"You go find a way to Giovanni! We'll take care of these two!"

"Got it!" Michael ran up the stairway to where Giovanni wa shiding, while Goku and Gohan battled Cell and Vegeta.

<In Giovanni's room>

A door opened and Giovanni turned around, expecting it to be either Cell or Vegeta, but was shocked when he saw Michael instead.

"So, Michael Bolton! The legendary Hunter! At last we meet!" Giovanni got out of his seat, carrying a Golden Gun in his right hand, and some sort of Arm Cannon on his left.

"Surprised? You should be! I'm going to destroy you for killing my friends earlier!!" Michael yelled.

"Don't be so sure!! I may not be a legendary hunter as yourself, but I have been through more battles and defeats then there are Space Pirates left in the world! And there must be thousands upon thousands of them left!" Giovanni mocked Michael by posing as Samus with his Arm Cannon.

"How dare you try to mock Samus!" Michael pointed his duel Arm Cannon's at Giovanni's head.

"Try me! I warn you, I will not be defeated easily!!! In fact, I doubt if you could EVER beat me!!!" Giovanni roared as he lept at Michael.

Michael easily dodged the assualt, and fired Hyper-Beam blasts at Giovani, but he showed amazing speed and agility; sprinting out of the way before his feet even touched the ground.

"You'll have to do better then that!!" Giovanni smirked as Michael used a missle barrage in an attempt to ground Giovanni.

"FOOL!" Giovanni raised a barrier in front of him which deflected the missles back at Michael, who barely missed his own attack.

"Thats not ALL I can do, Michael!" Giovanni had a jet-pack on, and used it to fly in the air, all the while firing at Michael with Wave-Beam blasts.

Michael fired back at Giovanni, the two beams colliding produced a massive explosion that neither flinched or damaged the two warriors.

"Impressive!" Shouted Giovanni, who let out a Plasma-Beam barrage at Michael.

"Child's play!" Michael fired Ice Beam blasts at the Plasma-Beam blasts, and the Ice froze the Plasma!

"Oh yeah!? Then how about this???" Giovanni fired a barrage of missles at Michael who blasted them all away with his duel Arm Cannon's.

"Is that all you got, Giovanni?" Michael fired quick blasts from his Hyper-Beam, which caught Giovanni on his right arm.

"That stings! You've got a lot of spunk, for a fool that is!!!" Giovanni fired more Wave-Beam blasts, but Michael just dodged and fired Hyper-Beam blasts at Giovanni, who was getting weaker with each hit.

Just when Michael seemed on the verge of finishing Giovanni, the bastard stunned Michael by using a different kind of beam-Phazon.

"AH!!" Michael was thrown back by the force of the mysterious beam, that was just fired on him.

"Like it?! I call it the Phazon-Beam!! Metroid Prime fell to this VERY weapon!! And so will YOU!!" Giovanni was stalking Michael like a shark that smells blood in the water; he just kept firing short bursts from his Phazon-Beam.

Michael was getting continually weaker from each hit, the radiation was getting at him too.

"Damnet! What can I do against this new weapon?!" Michael said to himself, but he never truly did get to finish that thought, though, as he was thrown back by yet more Phazon blasts.

"Had enough?!" Giovanni yelled at Michael.

"NEVER!!!" Michael was struggling to get back up, but Giovanni just kept firing at Michael with the Phazon-Beam.

Soon, Michael was so weak, he felt like he was on the verge of dieing.

"Samus...For-forgive me..." Michael collapsed from exhaustion and from the exposure to the Phazon radiation.

"Bye-bye, legend!" Giovanni walked away from Michael, who was motionless on the floor.

<Meanwhile>

Gohan had defeated Vegeta and Cell, but Goku had died during the battle, leaving only Gohan as the remaining hero left to destroy Giovanni.

"Gohan!" Giovanni called out to a weary Gohan.

"So, you managed to take out both Vegeta and Cell, eh?! I must appluade you for your courage! However, you are about to learn the lesson that your good ol' friend and legend, Michael learned the hard way!"

"No, not Michael!!" Gohan couldn't believe what Giovanni was saying; that he had indeed defeated Michael, the legendary Hunter.

"You BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!"

"Heh, heh, heh...Thats it, boy, keep using all your energy up! Soon, you won't even be able to stand!!" Giovanni was preparing his beam for another Phazon-Beam blast.

"You killed millions of innocent people...You killed Ash...Yugioh...Samus...Joey...Sonic...Goku...AND YOU KILLED MY BEST FRIEND MICHAEL!!!! I SWEAR, I WILL NOT LET THEM DOWN!!!! YOU WILL GO DOWN, GIOVANNI!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Gohan was yelling at the top of his lungs, which had no effect on Giovanni.

"Tough talk, kid. But, can you back it up?!" Giovanni pointed his beam at Gohan, who was still on his knees, trying his best to get up but to no avail.

"!"

"Say goodnight, kid!!!" Giovanni was charging up his Phazon-Beam for the sole purpose of finishing off what was left of Gohan, when a powerful Beam of light pierced right through Giovanni's back.

"IT CAN"T BE!" Gohan was trembling when he saw who was still standing.

"YOU!!!" Giovanni turned around to see that, indeed, Ash was still standing!

"No matter what, you're still gonna BURN you stupid piece-of-SHIT!!!" Ash had an Arm Cannon on his arm, probably from the Fusion-Beam. He had a Beam weapon that was the one spoken of in the legends.

"That can only mean that..." Giovanni didn't have to finish the sentence to realize who Ash really was: THE legendary Hunter spoken of in legends.

"But, I thought Michael was!!" Gohan said.

"He DID have two Arm Cannons, but there was a sentence that many people overlooked! He [Michael] would have a partner that would come to the hero's aid, and give that which made him [Michael] a legend, and pass it on to his partner [Ash].

"WHAT???????!!!!!!!!!!!" Giovanni was pinned to the wall from the intensity of the Light-Beam.

"And when it's all said and done...GIOVANNI!...It will be the HERO'S who are left standing!!!" Ash shouted to Giovanni, as he charged up the Light-Beam; When it was at full power, Ash let loose the full fury of the beam, which engulfed Giovanni, and the power from it caused Giovanni to explode into many robotic fragments.

Indeed, it WAS the hero's that were left standing.

<Outside the Base>

"Its time that this Base cease to exist!" Ash pushed a button, and the buildings that made up the HUGE base crubled to the ground in a massive explosion.

"There lies the 6 best friends ever known..." Gohan said through tears.

"Yet, out of it came two hero's, not to mention friends, that would be known as the ultamite hero's of the world." Ash spoke to Gohan.

"I wonder how the world is going to view our resolve...How will the world handle all the hero's lost on this mission?" Gohan asked Ash.

"It won't be easy, but, where there's a will...There's a WAY!" And with that, Ash and Gohan walked back to their homes...back to whatever they had left...and that was...their lives.

<Meanwhile>

"Do you think they will be the future?" Goku asked Yugioh.

"Absolutely...If anyone will be a legend(s), it will be them!" Yugioh replied to Goku.

"Yet, Michael was supposed to be the legend, and he was beaten! Why did the legend lie?" Samus asked.

"Remember what Ash said just before he destroyed Giovanni?" Goku reminded Samus.

"Besides...With the two of them working together, I KNOW for certain that they will be the future that this world can turn to when guys like Frieza or Cell show up to threaten it!" Michael said.

"They might not have much left, but they have that which man does not appreciate more then aprreciate: LIFE." Goku spoke.
