Warnings: violence and angst but its pretty mild to some of the fics I've read. Oh and Bashing of Yumcha so if you're a lover of Yumcha then I suppose you shouldn't read it.

Summary: The Saiya-jins are a mighty species that has ruled the universe for centuries, they rule over the many planets around the Universe and everything is working as it should be until… the ice-jin start to get a little stronger, a little rebellious and then BAM all out war for the ruling of the Universe. So our heroes Prince Vejita, his royal guard Kakarott, the bald headed Krillin, the feisty eighteen, the pan throwing Chichi, and the beautiful Bulma head out to stop this force.

Prologue: In the Beginning

In the beginning of time when the Universe was created by the BIG BANG many galaxy's were formed, nebula's of planets were created and life forms were beginning to evolve. Among these species were the Saiya-jins a ruthless society of bloodlust and mating, until the first King was born, the strongest of the Saiya-jins he stopped the killing and began to rule with an iron fist, creating an intelligent species that dominated over the planet. Honing in their skills they became a force to be reckoned with and although they still had the bloodlust within them they bent it to their will. Years went by and the Saiya-jins grew in strength and intelligence, going from the mud brick houses to stone and wonderful designs, some Saiya-jins became rather intelligent and although weak in strength they were prized for they began looking to mating better technology to make the Saiya-jins lives more pleasurable.

The first ever King of the Saiya-jins was the powerful Kutiza and was the first ever Super Saiya-jin and although he destroyed himself because of the vast amount of power that came with it his line lived on and thus the Kings of Vejita-sei were established. King Vejita XIV and his son Prince Vejita XV were in rule at the time where everything had been running smoothly for centuries and only now had slight tiffs with races that wanted to became independent again happened. One of these races were the ice-jins who were smart enough to wait until their "prince" was ready to lead them against the Saiya-jins, Furiza his name and although he was only still a young man of sixteen standard years he was the strongest of his people. In secret the ice-jins began to form an alliance with the surrounding planets closest to them in order to make their war against the empire of Saiya-jins more solid.

There were many planets who had fierce warriors in their midst and the Saiya-jins allowed those to live as long as the swore allegiance with the King and Prince, the Chikyuu-jins a race of warrior females held in their high regard their priestess Chi-Chi, a black haired black eyed goddess. On Kyuiktsu a bald headed monk warrior of the name Krillin was their defender against anyone who thought to make a ruckus on Kyuiktsu. Bulma of Burri was held in high regard on the almost dominated planet of technology wizards in the universe. Yumcha of the space station Decca was the only warrior that lived on the station. Eighteen the best bounty hunter in the universe came from the small planet Vistos, a planet very much like Chikyuu. The most obvious of them all though would be the Prince of Vejita-sei and his royal guard and trusted "friend" Kakarott. There were many other planets that had warriors but these were the most renowned in the Universe for one reason or another. Now in the time of the Great Divide where the universe was split into two empires many races were extinguished and their life was snuffed out of existence. The ice-jins had made their move when the Saiya-jins least expected it, almost all the warriors were residing on their home planet to see the coronation of their Prince and this was when the Ice-jins attacked and set up their stronghold to ensure that they could win against the Saiya-jins. Only the Ice-jins did not foresee the warriors or the planets that stopped them taking over the whole of the universe and so this is where our story begins, the great divide has left the universe divided and many races extinct, the Saiya-jins forming a massive army to take back the universe and the planets warriors taken from their planets to join the army to kill the Baka's that had killed many of their friends, and so we begin at not the beginning like many stories do but in the middle of the chaos that has swept the Universe whether you liked it or not….

"BULMA" the screech was heard all over the palace of Burri, the beautiful blue haired woman of eighteen ran quickly to where the priestess was, surrounding her was a mass of twenty Saiya-jin guards and they were all staring intently to the doorway where she had just ran through. Bulma thinking they were attacking the queen got into a fighting stance. The Saiya-jins seemed amused at her actions but did nothing.

"What is it you want with the priestess?" She asked not getting up.

"Nothing, we wanted her warrior and we got you so hurry it up and stand over there." Bulma turned her attention to where the guard had gestured and over by the wall was the scarce few warriors they had on their planet.

"Why?" she asked not understanding, the news of the great divide had reached them but not the news that the king and prince had demanded that all warriors be sent to Vejita-sei for training.

"The King declared it" Bulma just stood there and turned to the priestess.

"I cannot leave her, she cannot be unprotected," The guard glared at her, they had been waiting for a long time for the warriors of Burri to come to Vejita-sei and when they had not come they had been sent to collect them and now this female was refusing to come?

"I don't care what you say your coming whether you like it or not" and with that all twenty guards lunged at her, Bulma knew she couldn't defeat all twenty but hell she'd go down trying anyway. Powering up to her maximum Bulma levitated off the ground. The faster ones reached her first and Bulma dodged their punched and kicks as best to her ability while executing some herself. The onslaught of the warriors was too much for the slight woman and after a few well-placed kicks she fell to the ground defeated, for now. Grunting in the accomplishment Bardock ordered the rest of his crew to take the others to the ship while he picked up the Blue haired woman who was the only one in his eyes that was a honourable warrior, she had fought against who she was alleged to because she was supposed to protect the priestess and she was the only one who did. Shaking his head to rid them of his thoughts Bardock set the course to Vejita-sei before placing the woman in her rooms and going to his for some sleep before they reached Vejita-sei because they needed every single minute they got.
