Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ A Tale of Mirai ❯ Another Lost Soul ( Chapter 2 )
I stood there confused and hurt. At that second shock came to me that my best friend and the man, I would love no other, I was in love with for so long was dead.
New energy and power came to me.
"I'LL NEVER LET YOU LIVE ANOTHER DAY!!"
I yelled as loud as I could, my energy shaking the ground.
Broli just smirked.
"That was fun.. But I'll save your death for another day."
Broli said in a low toned voice.
"Go to hell and burn!!"
I shot an energy blast towards him.
"That's a bad word for a child."
He blocked the blast with ease.
"Now go run home to your mommy, if she isn't dead yet..."
Broli reminded me of the day my mother died.
I held back tears fighting the battle on the inside and out.
With a blinded by hate I ran at him. With a swift move I yanked free my sword and stabbed right for his face.
He caught the blade and pulled it free from my hold. Before I could react he flipped the sword over and took a swing. With the little energy I had left I flew back, only it was too late.
The blade dig into my right cheek and torn upwards. I could only turn my face away as the blade just missed my eye.
Blood dipped coldly down my cheek. Broli looked at it with hungry eyes.
"That should shut you up!"
He flew off leaving me alive. I watched him fly through the air, he did not care that he took a life away, a life so pure and so young.
'Damn him! He still has my sword. It was the sword Trunks gave me… Trunks…'
I tried not to cry.
'I'm Saiyan! I don't cry, I'm not a little child anymore! What would Trunks or Vegeta say?! What would my dad, Gohan say! Pan get a hold on your-self!'
I placed my hand on the cut feeling blood dripping from it near my eye.
'It's nothing, nothing I can't be mature about.'
I powered up hoping Taka would not find me next and finish Broli's job. I took off to Bulma's lab hoping Marron did not have any problems.
I landed to see Bulma crying her heart out and Marron sitting off to the side with tear in her eyes. Her heart was broken she loved Trunks too but always knew he had a love for me instead, but she honored it.
Bulma was his mother, even if she acted as if she was all of our mother; Bulma sat with her head on the table crying.
I felt bad for her I tried not to show it. I wanted to act like Vegeta, he was powerful and a Saiyan like my-self. Marron was human and so Bulma. They could show emotions but I could not, it was not to be done by Saiyans. Marron got up and hugged me. She cried softly on my shoulder. I stood there not moving a muscle.
"Pan didn't you love him?! Wasn't he your best friend how come you're not crying!"
Marron said both angried and shocked.
"I am Saiyan, that is all that's to it."
"You sound like Vegeta, I've cried enough, Trunks would have wanted us to be strong for him."
Bulma said wiping her tears away.
I nodded and Marron tried to smile; like always.
"We will leave this world and go to another dimension."
Bulma said boldly.
She got up slowly and walked over to her inventions.
As I remember it, it was a long sleepless night...
I woke up to feel a power fading fast.
"Bulma!"
I jumped from my bed and ran to Bulma's room. Marron was already there at Bulma's side crying hard. "
Bulma please you can't leave us like this!"
Marron cried, I stood there speechless.
"Bulma what's wrong?"
Marron asked keeping her hopes up that Bulma would live.
"Ma- Marr- Marron do- don- don't wor- worry abou- about me." Bulma said slowly dieing.
"No you can't die! We lost Trunks and we can't lose you!!"
Marron yelled jumping up tears falling down her cheeks.
"Th- the tim- time port is in m- my la- lab."
Bulma spoke softly.
"Marron we have to go!"
"Pan! Bulma was like our mother and your going to leave her to die?!"
I walked over to Bulma, knelt down beside her bed, and kissed her forehead.
"Tell my mom and dad and Trunks I said hello when you reach the other world."
I said leaving neither a frown nor a smile on my face.
"I promi- promise I will Pan.. Ju- Just.. promise me y-you will st- stop acting s-so heartless"
Bulma's soul slipped away before I could answer her.
"Well, what is your answer Pan?"
I got up and turned to Marron and narrowed my eyes.
"Well..."
She folded her arms; acting more like her mother.
"Bulma knows, you don't have to."
That was my only answer to the question.
'I will try Bulma...'
