APOCALYPSE KNIGHTS

CHAPTURE 2

Zach and Lance are watching television when the program is suddenly interrupted by a report of four murderers breaking out of west city jail and are running loose killing people.

Lance: Hey, mom Zach and I are going to West City!

His Mom: okay be careful.

Lance: we will, don't worry.

Lance and Zach rush outside and Zach tosses up a capsule and in a puff of smoke a floating hotrod like car in where the capsule was. Zach and Lance jump in and race off at full speed to West City which was about a four hour drive away. In two and a half hours they arrive at West City and find what the TV said was right. Cops running all to the same place one large building with cops all around it.

Zach: hey why aren't you doing anything?

Cop: they have over twenty hostages.

Lance: come on Zach.

Lance runs into a back ally. Zach follows him in and notices nothing about it no back door nothing. Zach runs back out and over to the cop and again and talks to him and then runs back to Lance.

Zach: the cop said that they are keeping the people on the fourth floor and there are two guards on the first floor.

Lance: so the other two must be on the forth floor.

Zach: think we can break this wall?

Lance: (knocks it with his fist) no problem.

Zach: okay you toss me and I'll break the wall.

Lance: why can't we just break it here?

Zach: because we don't what those two to shoot at us. We would die smart guy.

Lance: fine.

Zach runs at Lance and Lance catapults him into the air and about ten feet in the air Zach punches through the wall and catches himself on the broken wall and pulls himself up. Lance jumps onto a fence then jumps off that and almost misses the hole but is just high enough and Zach catches him and pulls him up.

Lance: okay I want to take care of the guys on the lowest floor.

Zach: I'll take the ones on the upper floors.

Lance runs down the stairs and Zach now on the third floor cautiously walks up the remaining steps. Lance reaches the lowest floor with no trouble and slowly opens the door to the first floor and notices the two murderers with one AK47 each. With a deep breath Lance runs at the first man and kicks him in the back making him drop his gun and quickly runs at the next man beating him to his gun and head butts him, making him fall back while Lance has hold of the gun. The cops out side stand ready for anything, anything except the first two murderers suddenly bursting through the glossy glass doors unconscious. Lance steps out of the broken doors with the guns and throws them at the cops and then the ammo clips.

Zach is at the door and slowly opens it to see that the two men don't have their guns but are holding pistols. Zach takes a step back and kicks the door and it flies at the first crook. The man rolls out of the way and the door crashes threw the large wall like window. On the ground the door smashes into little pieces after hitting a cop car. Zach runs at the first man at full speed but the second crook put his gun to Zach's face. Suddenly a namekain rams the crook and knocks him out with a powerful kick to the gut. Zach continues his runs and lunges at the man and in a loud shot that even Lance heard Zach and the crook don't move. At first the crook smiles then faints from a powerful punch to the gut, while Zach just falls on his butt holding his side where thick red blood flows.

Zach: dam him! He nicked me!

Namekain: hold still I can kinda heal that.

A green yellow glow appears around the Namekain's hands and the wound stops bleeding but still hurts.

Zach: thanks ah.

Zarduk: my name is Zarduk, and you're welcome.

Zach: you're really strong why didn't you just take them yourself.

Zarduk: because that other there is my mother and I didn't wish to have her see me be shot.

Zach looks at who Zarduk is talking about but there is no Namekain woman or any other Namekain in the room. Zach looks at the Namekain, black backwards hat, green skin pointy ear the hat covered the antennas or what ever those were supposed to be.

Zach: I don't see your mother.

Zarduk points at her and Zach looks amazed at what he was pointing at. A middle-aged woman, human woman Zarduk had to be over sixteen so she must have had him at the age of like twelve.

Zach: I don't understand.

Zarduk: my dad is Namekain; my mother is saiyan, so she looks young still.

Zach: saiyan! Your half Namek half Saiyan!

Zarduk: yup.
