CHAPTER 18

(Zarduk speaking to two of the new warriors of Earth)

Earth, home to billions of humans, saiyans, namekains and many other stranger animal like species. Now, a dark gloomy place, many of the cities destroyed with rubble and remains of buildings, roads, bridges, anything that could be destroyed has been except one city. Now know as King City it was once called West City. Lance and I have been in wait for their friends for over five months waiting for them to arrive so they could help them in their battle. Lance and I have been bested in many battles against the weakest of the evil on their planet. Even the weakest enemy they can not defeat by themselves. Lance after realizing this took on the two youngest people with high power from birth. Many have made the mistake of confidence and lost their life. One Lance became attached to like a son and died in a gallant battle caused by chance. The young mans name, Cid Kennith, will be remembered for as long as Lance lives. You see Cid and Lance left to find food to start a storage when they ran into the second in command, Hiro and the one they had tried to fight before and lost, Delta. Lance is strong it's true but no match for them both and Cid sacrificed himself to save Lance's life. Cid was only fourteen. Lance after that day lost his fighting spirit and went into a kind of depression if that is what you wish to call it. Even with the new help we unexpectedly received from an old enemy we have been unable to make any real progress not when the enemy can sense power levels so we have to keep ours at a very low level to avoid being killed. Gabriel, Irvine are you sure you wish this we give you a chance to decline.

A teenager with black hair spiked to one end steps forward and bows at his waist and another teen with brown hair pulled back into a pony tail walks up and does the same.

Zarduk: welcome to the freedom rebellion.

Gabriel: thank you.

Irvine: ………

Zarduk: your powers are really quite impressive for a fourteen and sixteen year old.

Irvine: surprised?

Zarduk: just surprised that, you two haven't been captured.

Gabriel: we must not be any threat by their standards.

Irvine: that will change.
