Any part of the Freeza saga that isn't altered somehow from the real one will be skipped.
-------
Vegeta's pod sped over the landscape of planet Namek, making everything appear a blur. Vegeta scanned the land, but blurry or not, he knew he could see Freeza's ship below him. Fear clung to his heart when he realised the only thing that would bring Freeza to such a useless planet. He had been trying with some success to learn to sense ki. He focused on the ship, which was by now far behind him, and felt two powers. One Freeza, one Zarbon. He compared his to theirs and was pleasantly surprised to find that Zarbon was not a threat to him anymore. He felt for kis again, and felt two more powerful ones to the left of his pod, and another powerful one to the right. *Five major powers that aren't Freeza are here, including mine*, he thought grimly. *And all of them put together don't match Freeza's.*
His pod crashed down, and he emerged, ready to fight.
------
(Flash Forward: Goku lands, fights the Ginyu force, Vegeta is sure he's a Super Saiya-jin, Goku is in a regen tank, Nail is almost dead after stalling Freeza, Dende, Gohan and Krillin are in front of Porunga, and Vegeta is on his way.
------
King Kai's world
'Pan, I want you to drink this,' said the jolly Kai while handing Pan a goblet of red liquid. She took it and downed it without asking what it was. She hated the Kai for his happy ways, but she didn't believe he would poison her right after training her in the art of Kaio Ken, not because she trusted him, but because it would be pointless. Even if it wouldn't be self-destructing, she was already dead.
'What was it?' she asked, waiting until after it was all gone to ask about it. King Kai tucked one arm behind his back, and coughed into his other one before explaining.
'That was a powerful energy drink. For a short time it will greatly enchant your speed, strength, endurance and reflexes. It grants you Super Saiya-jin strength, not the legendary power strength, if that's what your thinking. I meant in the context that a human would use, e.g superhuman strength.' Pan nodded, approving. She smirked knowingly.
'The catch?' she asked, knowing from experience that nothing good was free.
'It will kill you, much the same way that Kaio Ken does. Think of it as a permanent adrenaline rush. It will cannibalise your body for energy, starting with food you've eaten, then going onto body fat, then to muscle. It will eventually begin destroying your vital organs. If you don't fight it won't affect you at all. It will wear off eventually anyway. If you wish to both survive, and fight, then you must eat after any battles.'
'When you're wished back, your heart and brain injuries will be gone,' informed King Kai. Pan smirked. She was really glad that her heart would get better. Now she'd be able to train without any set backs.
'Wait a second, Kai,' Pan said, realising that one thing he said didn't make sense. 'What brain injury?' Before anyone else could speak, her halo disappeared and she vanished.
------
Dende finished the first wish, effectively bringing back Piccolo.
'Now,' said Krillin. 'Wish Piccolo here, to Namek.' Dende began, but was silenced when Vegeta burst onto the scene. He began to speak in Namek to the dragon. Dende, Gohan and Krillin watched in horror as Vegeta finished his wish. Porunga's eyes flashed red.
'It is done. State your final wish,' boomed Porunga's mighty voice. The three looked at Vegeta expecting him to become divinely immortal in a flash of light, but instead saw Pan materialise in front of them. She took in her surroundings, and smirked at Vegeta.
'I knew you'd wish me back,' she said, with a tone that could be described as grateful. Her eyes turned to Krillin and Gohan, who cringed in fear, very suddenly and very painfully aware that they were alone with two of the most dangerous people they'd ever met. 'King Kai told me so,' she said with a twisted grin aimed at the earthlings. 'He kept me up to date on what's happening, and even taught me the Kaio Ken technique.' Krillin's look of disbelief said more than words could. He was about to use words anyway, when out of the corner of his eye he saw something her had dreaded ever since he had landed on Namek. Freeza. All eyes turned to Freeza, some with dread, some with hate, but all with deep fear. Suddenly, the dragon vanished, and the 7 balls turned to stone. The young Namek cried out in anguish, explaining that Guru was dead and the balls were gone.
Freeza became angry, and confronted them.
----
Flash Forward again: Freeza is just transforming to his final form, Goku is almost better, Krillin and Gohan and Vegeta and fought Freeza, Vegeta gets Krillin to blast him to near death and Dende has healed him, making him even more powerful. Pan has yet to raise a fist.
----
'Freeza,' greeted Vegeta coolly, treating Freeza's new form as a first contact. Freeza floated over to them. Grinning sadistically, he pointed a finger at the fighters. A small beam of light formed at the tip of his finger, and shot off towards the fighters.
It passed Vegeta, passed Pan, passed Krillin, passed Gohan, and hit the young Namek, killing him instantly.
'That little Namek was healing you. Naughty child,' taunted Freeza coldly.
'Shut up, Freeza!!' bellowed Vegeta, who was tired of waiting. 'You destroyed my home, and for that I will get revenge! I am the legendary Super Saiya-jin and you are nothing!' Vegeta struck at Freeza, but Freeza vanished. Vegeta shot upward into the air. He saw Freeza and began blasting. Huge amounts of adrenaline rushed through his veins, more than tripling his power temporarily. He blasted at Freeza, each blast powerful enough to wipe out a small planet, each one missing. Dozens upon dozens of mighty explosions rocked the sky, lighting it up brilliantly. There was so much power in the air that Krillin and Gohan couldn't even see a place that wasn't crackling with power. Vegeta was roaring at the top of his lungs, but each blast he shot was dodged by Freeza, who was defiantly crossing his arms over his chest and smirking triumphantly.
'How can he have so much power?' wondered Krillin in awe. 'He simply isn't strong enough to do that kind of blasting.' Vegeta kept on blasting, blast after blast, until he found himself tiring out. He became further enraged at the prospect of losing, and redoubled his efforts. He further astonished Krillin and Gohan, and secretly Pan when his blasts doubled in speed and power, when all the laws said that they should be getting weaker. Vegeta gave one final, almighty roar before he stopped, drained of power to the point of death. Next thing he knew, he was being swatted to the ground, where he landed, too weak to even raise his arms to cushion the fall. Freeza landed beside him and wrapped his tail around Vegeta's neck, hauling him to his feet. He lifted Vegeta off the ground and began to punch him, each one so strong that they ruptured his flesh and broke his bones.
'You know, monkey boy,' said Freeza as he continued to punch Vegeta. 'When I took you from your father, he came to fight me. He and the best of the best the Saiya-jin had to offer. All of them put together didn't even have a power level that made 5 digits. The Saiya-jin are weak, and the only thing that made you Saiya-jin formidable was your numbers. You are the weakest bunch of cowards the universe has ever known.' He began to rain the punches hundreds at a time. Vegeta roared in agony, causing the watching fighters, including Pan, to cringe.
Pan, for all her confidence prior to this moment, was too terrified to move a muscle. Even if she wasn't, she knew that Vegeta would never forgive her if she helped him. She had never been so afraid of Freeza in her life. Suddenly an image flashed in Pan's mind. It was a memory of her on a planet. She found she could remember being more afraid. She remembered....her mother? Being killed by a blonde woman, and then two blonde people attacked the woman. She could remember the fear as she watched her mother died before her very eyes. Pan shook her head. Where had that come from? She recalled King Kai telling her about brain damage. Pan began to think (rightly) that she might have had a brain injury that caused amnesia. She thought about it, and realised that all the points added up. What King Kai said, the lack of memory before she turned four, the flashes of odd images she had sometimes when badly injured.
She suddenly just, *knew* all about the androids. Her father fought the androids who were destroying her world. Her father was...she gasped in disbelief. She suddenly knew that her father was a Super Saiya-jin. She racked her brain, trying to remember more, but it was foggy. She decided she'd have time later, in life or death, to sort through her thoughts.
Vegeta crashed to the ground, every bone in his body shattered beyond repair. He could barely move at all, whether it was because of the unimaginable pain, or because his spine no longer beared any resemblance of a body part, he didn't know. He looked at Pan with sad, tortured eyes. She felt compelled to go to him. She rushed over to him, ignoring Freeza and went to her knees beside him. His body was marred beyond belief. Pan doubted that even if he were in a regeneration tank he would live.
'Pan,' he cried, tears streaming down his cheeks, his pride forgotten or discarded. 'I tried. I tried harder than I thought possible. I was a fool to think that I could beat Freeza. Know this, Pan. The reason he wiped us out was because he was afraid. Afraid that a Super Saiya-jin would emerge and beat him. You are that Super Saiya-jin. I can feel your power, and it's far greater than mine. I want you to promise me something, Pan,' asked Vegeta.
Pan nodded frantically. 'Anything, Vegeta.'
'Promise me that you'll try as hard as you can to survive. The hardest thing to do in this world is live in it.'
'Of course, Vegeta,' promised Pan in earnest. Vegeta smiled at her. Actually smiled. His smile turned to a look of despair when Freeza shot a thin beam right through his heart. Pan roared at Freeza.
'What did you do that for!? He was already dying!' Freeza's thin lips curled into a sneer.
'His loud banter was giving me a headache.'
'P-pan,' whispered Vegeta as loud as he could. Pan craned her head back to Vegeta. 'Do me...one last...thing.' Pan nodded. 'Kiss me.'
'What?' whispered Pan, not quite sure that she had heard him right.
'Y-you heard me. Please,' begged Vegeta. Pan searched his eyes for any signs that meant something else. She wonder why he asked, and wondered why she felt compelled to do it. She bent over and placed her lips on his tenderly. When she pulled away a few seconds later, Vegeta was dead. She picked him up and dug him a grave as the spectators looked on. She buried him and turned to Krillin and Gohan.
'You two get out of here.' They needed to be persuaded no further, and took off.
'You know, there is nowhere on this planet that they'll be safe,' chuckled Freeza. Pan didn't say a thing and began to power up to full. The rocks around her rose, and soon large chunks of the earth around her began to rise. Just when she was at max power she sent a ki blast into the upper atmosphere. Freeza knew what she was about to do, and let her. He smirked at the prospect of beating a Saiya-jin at their strongest. Pan looked up at the ball which simulated moonlight, and transformed. Her armor stretched to accommodate her growing mass. In thirty seconds she was a full-sized Oozaru.
Her closed fist came hurtling down on Freeza. He leapt out of the way, letting the fist smash the ground to bits. She saw him coming at her and blasted from her furry snout. Freeza sidestepped the blast and punched the massive ape in the chest, plunging his fist right in, all the way up the shoulder. It at almost no effect. Before Freeza could make another move, a massive hand grabbed Freeza and began to constrict. Freeza resisted and slowly pried the hand open with great difficulty. He teleported behind Pan and unleashed a hail of blasts, each just as powerful as the ones that Vegeta had rained on him. They all connected, sending Pan to the ground. She gathered a blast in her mouth and spun around, blasting Freeza dead on. She poured in vast amounts of power. Freeza sputtered, trying to get the blast under control. Soon he sent a blast of his own to counteract her blast. Pan saw it come and jumped high in the air, avoiding the blast. She landed with a crash, causing the ground beneath her massive paws to crumble. She saw Freeza on the ground and made a leaping punch, putting all her momentum behind the punch. Freeza held his arms up and caught the punch, halting Pan in midair. Pan tried to retract her fist, but Freeza's far smaller form held it forcefully in place. He wrapped his arms and tail around her smallest finger and began to swing Pan around. When she was going fast enough he threw her into a cliff. She crashed through the cliff, levelling it, and skidded to a halt a mile away. She felt Freeza grasp her tail and ripped it off.
'NO!!!!!!!' The roar began as a mighty, animalistic growl, and ended up a somewhat feminine yell as Pan went from Oozaru to normal. She was seething in anger. She didn't even notice when Goku arrived and landed next to her. All she cared about at that moment was getting revenge for the greatest dishonour possible for a Saiya-jin. 'Kaio Ken times fifty!!' Her red aura exploded and the rock around her began to crumble. The ground quaked as her power multiplied fifty times. Goku's eyes widened in surprise. Not only was she able to do Kaio Ken, but she was daring to do fifty times Kaio Ken. Even he didn't dare to go over 40, which was what he was at at the moment.
Pan blasted toward Freeza, upper cutting his chin, sending him stumbling back in surprise. She forced Freeza into a dance of fists. Freeza quickly copped on that he'd have to really work to beat her. She kicked Freeza in the head, sending his flying. She came around behind him and kicked him in another direction, then went to were he was going next. She continued this game until Freeza got in a very powerful punch to her chest, breaking her breast bone. Pan staggered back.
'Is this the part where the tables turn, and I kick you around?' asked Freeza.
'No,' hissed Pan. 'This is the part where I yell: Kaio Ken times sixty!' Her aura once again flared, but this time instead of vanishing, remained. 'And I kick your ass!' Pan ignored the pain caused by going higher and lunged forward. Freeza, who was now done toying with her, began to fight. Each punch he landed bruised Pan's skin to the bone, and sometimes bruised the bone as well.
------
Bulma approached Krillin and Gohan, who were watching Pan fight from a distance. She looked towards the horizon, where the landscape was constantly being destroyed.
'Is that Freeza and Goku?' she asked in awe, startling Krillin and Gohan.
'No, Bulma. That's Freeza and Pan. Goku's over there, but Pan's the one who's fighting. She's even stronger than Goku is!' Bulma looked in awe at the fight.
'Pan's the one who tried to kill me, right?' Krillin and Gohan nodded. 'I was doing some research on a blood sample she left, and found out some shocking news!' she said.
'What is it?' asked Krillin.
'She's related to Goku!'
'What?! No way!' exclaimed Krillin.
'Yes way, but that's not even the shocking bit. She's more closely related to Gohan than to Goku.'
'H-how is that possible?' asked Gohan. Bulma shook her head.
'I don't know. Here's the shocking bit. She's part human! Her Saiya-jin blood is almost completely masking her human blood, but the impurity is there. But that's not the weird part.'
'There's more?' asked Krillin exasperatedly.
'She has a trace of Chi-chi's blood.' Krillin balked.
'No way! You must be mistaken! It's impossible!'
'I know. I'm still working on it. It shouldn't be possible, but I've checked everything three times, and even took a new sample of Gohan's blood. It was what I was working on during the trip here. The only way I could be wrong is if Pan didn't really leave her blood in my house after punching a hole in my brick wall. When this whole thing is over, I'll ask her for another sample.' Krillin sweat dropped.
'Uh...Bulma, I hate to inform you of this, but Pan's a lunatic. She's even scarier than Vegeta was. You'd never get a sample of blood from her and live, so don't try,' suggested Krillin wisely. Bulma didn't comment, perhaps unaware how close to death she had come that day when she met Pan.
'Wait a sec,' Bulma said. 'You mentioned Vegeta in the past tense. Does that mean he's dead?' Krillin nodded. 'Oh,' said Bulma a bit distantly.
------
Goku watched in astonishment as he watched Pan battle Freeza blow for blow. He knew that he certainly couldn't have done it. Pan was burning up extremely high amounts of energy to fight at a pace intense enough to go toe to toe with Freeza, yet she wasn't getting significantly weaker. He decided that the best thing he could do was prepare a spirit bomb. He raised his arms up and began to summon energy.
------
King Kai was amazed as he watched the battle unfold below. The three human fighters that had died fighting Nappa were behind him, waiting for news. The blue Kai gasped, causing the three fighters to startle.
'What is King Kai?' asked Yamcha.
'Goku is gathering energy for a spirit bomb while Pan fights Freeza, but at the rate Pan is going, it may not be needed,' answered King Kai intensely.
'If Freeza is defeated by Pan, then we're really in trouble. Freeza may be stronger, but Pan is by far the most evil being I've ever had the displeasure of meeting,' said Tien. King Kai shook his head.
'You're wrong. You've never met Freeza, and I pray that you never will. Pan is evil because of Freeza. All her life she was subjected to horrors beyond imagination by Freeza. He made sure she turned into the perfect killing machine, and he succeeded. I doubt that anyone of you could have survived a year of what she went through her whole life. She was always alone. Vegeta and her didn't even meet until about two years ago. Until then they both had to endure the horrific cruelty of Freeza alone. They hardened themselves to survive. It isn't natural for a Saiya-jin to achieve the strength they possess. Nappa was as strong as they came, back in the days when Vegeta-sei was still around. Goku was of average strength for a Saiya-jin when Raditz appeared. Pan's power is unprecedented for anything in the universe after Freeza and his family, and she has the very one she hates the most to thank for it.'
'Well, when you put it that way, the evil mass murder doesn't seem so bad,' said Yamcha sarcastically. 'You said it yourself. She is evil. Maybe if she had been raised differently she'd be a loving, carefree girl, but she's not. She's a sick, merciless killer, and if she survives, she'll return to earth to make a wish there.'
'If it came down to it,' started King Kai grimly. 'I have faith that Goku could defeat her. She is easily angered, and while she may be the stronger of the two now, I've never seen a power increase like Goku's. His power has grown more than three thousand times greater in the past year and a half. He could very well become the strongest being alive with due time.'
------
Freeza grunted as the air was forced from his lungs by a powerful elbow to the back. He was losing and he knew it. *How the hell did Pan become so strong?!* he thought, knowing that she couldn't have done this the last time he saw her. He really wished he had a scouter to see how powerful she was. Freeza kicked away from her and spat out some blood. He landed, poised to fight.
'I must admit that you have become far stronger than I could have ever imagined. Tell me, what is the secret to your power?' Freeza asked, trying to start a conversation. He needed a rest anyway, he told himself.
'Kaio Ken is the secret, Freeza. It can multiply my power to limitless heights, just so long as my body can handle it.' Freeza looked at her body, and to his surprise saw that it was lightly smoking. He smirked.
'So your power is artificially multiplied fifty times? Meaning that you're really fifty times weaker than you are now.' He chuckled. 'I too can become stronger than I am now. I'm only using one third of my total power at the moment,' he revealed, holding up one finger to illustrate. Pan's face distorted with shock and disbelief, before smirking.
'Your bluffing,' she said, wanting to believe that.
'No, I'm not. Here, I'll prove it to you.' Freeza bunched his muscles and began to power up.
'NO YOU WON'T!!!' came Goku's yell. Freeza relaxed his muscles and floated over to him, with Pan in tow. 'Because I'm not going to give you the time you need.'
'Really?' asked Freeza, feigning interest. 'Well, I think if you won't give me time, then I'll just blow up this useless planet right now.' Freeza began to cackle as he rose into the air, forming a black ball of ki at the end of his fingers. Pan was about to go up and attack him, but Goku told her to stop.
'Look Pan,' he said while nodding up. 'It's a spirit bomb. I'd say it's about fifty meters in diameter. It should be able to stop Freeza.' Goku pulled his arms down, starting the spirit bomb on it's path.
'NO!!' yelled Pan as she lunged at Goku, punching him in the jaw. She proceeded to beat him. 'He is mine to kill! You have no idea what he did to me! You never even met him before today! You have no right in even battling him at all!!' She continued to attack Goku. He soon began to defend himself, blocking her hits. She grew tired of fighting him when she needed to use her energy on Freeza. 'Kaio Ken times 60!!' She put a massive amount of power into a kick, sending Goku shooting into the distance. She turned her attentions to Freeza. Pan was panting very heavily, not because of fighting, but because the Kaio Ken was taking it's toll on her body. She observed the hair on her arms begin to curl up, as if being burned, which they were. Her body was visibly smoking by now, the raw power in her body literally sizzling her. Freeza was being pushed into the ground by the cataclismicly huge blast, which despite his best efforts, was overcoming him. She wondered how Kakarott could have that much power, then wondered if the planet would survive the blast at all. She shielded her eyes as the blast exploded, a dome of raw energy exploding outwards, vaporising everything in it's wake. As it engulfed Pan, she got thrown backwards.
From where Krillin, Gohan and Bulma were, miles away, they saw the dome speeding towards them. When it showed no signs of stopping, Gohan and Krillin ducked for cover. Bulma screeched in terror. Krillin swore loudly when he realised that Bulma was unable to defend herself. He was about to risk his life to go get her, When a slightly beaten Goku appeared in front of he with his arms crossed defensively, less than a second before the dome reached them.
A minute later, the dome vanished, leaving an impossibly wide and impossibly deep crater that stretched on as far as the eye could see. From space, one would see that the top quarter of the planet had been blown away. Pan stared in shock at the sheer size of it. She could hear the others celebrating in the distance, but she knew better than to celebrate before you found the body.
Sure enough, Freeza eventually appeared at the edge of the crater. In a few seconds, she was flanked by Goku, Gohan and Krillin, all of whom wore looks of utter disbelief.
'I must say Goku, that...what was it called?' asked Freeza.
'Spirit bomb,' supplied Goku seriously.
'..Spirit bomb packed an incredible punch. It even knocked the wind out of me. I must admit as well that when I first saw it, I didn't think I'd make it. I grossly overestimated you, a mistake that I will not allow to happen again. It's just that I've never had someone as powerful as you stand up to me, so I didn't have anything to compare it to. I do feel that a spot of pay back is in order. Hmm?' Freeza chuckled and pointed a finger at Krillin. He raised in the air and began to struggle.
'Goku!! Ahh!!! SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!' He cried out before he suddenly exploded. Goku went numb with emotion. Suddenly the world stopped, leaving him alone. He then saw things, not in the normal way, but in pure black and white. Freeza bad, kill Freeza. He began to shudder and shake with rage as he saw red.
FREEZA.
He was going to kill Freeza. His hair flashed golden, his eyes turquoise, then went back to black. Pan noticed this and was instantly reminded about her father being a Super Saiya-jin.
She hadn't even thought about it the whole time. Goku began to roar, before his ki skyrocketed and his hair and eyes remained their new colors. His aura was of a brilliant golden hue, and was rolling off his body in waves.
Freeza's eyes widened. 'What!? Saiya-jin have no transformations other than Oozaru!' Pan was still staring at Goku with awe and amazement. She then smirked and looked at Freeza.
'You forgot Super Saiya-jin.' She turned back to Goku. 'Kakarott! You've done it! You're a Super Saiya-jin!' Her smirk was a congratulating one, not a spiteful one, like most of hers were. Goku, however ignored the praise. He'd gladly give up the power if it would bring Krillin back.
----
King Kai's jaw dropped when he felt Goku go super. 'Oh my god,' he whispered.
'What is it?' asked Chouzu.
'It-it's Goku! This is incredible! I didn't think it was possible!' He by now had everyone's attention.
'What is it King Kai?' asked Tien.
'Yeah? What's up with Goku? Is he ok!?' asked Yamcha, suddenly concerned. King Kai got over his shock and smiled gleefully.
'He's more than ok! Goku became a Super Saiya-jin! He is the legendary Super Saiya-jin!' exclaimed the Kai excitedly.
'So....that's a good thing?' asked Yamcha.
'A-a good thing!? It's wonderful! He's three times stronger than Freeza now! Freeza's doomed!'
-------
Goku rushed Freeza, who didn't even know what hit him. Freeza put up a defence, which was mediocre at best. Freeza was being knocked around, and Goku used this time to contact King Kai.
'King Kai? Are you there?' asked Goku telepathically.
'Yes, Goku, I'm here. Congratulations on becoming a Super Saiya-jin.'
'Thanks. I have a plan to wish back everyone. If we got Earth's dragon balls and wished back everyone who Freeza killed on Namek, then the Namekian dragon balls will return, right?'
'Wrong,' replied King Kai sadly. 'Guru died of natural causes. He wouldn't come back.' Goku frowned and punched Freeza into a cliff.
'What if he died from a broken heart, caused by Freeza killing his children?' King Kai thought about it. 'King Kai? Are you there?'
'Yes, I'm here, Goku. I'll ask Kami about it. I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Bye.'
'Bye.'
Goku, who was momentarily distracted, was punched by Freeza, sending him crashing to the ground. Freeza leapt into the air, and began to form a small black ki blast. With a shout he sent it hurtling towards the planet. Gohan, Goku and Pan watched in horror as it didn't explode on impact, but dug downwards.
'He's going to destroy the planet!' exclaimed Pan urgently.
'I see. You knew that you couldn't beat us, so you kill us all!' spat Goku venomously. Freeza laughed sinisterly.
'That is where you're mistaken. I can survive in space, where I will wait to be collected, where as even if you survive the explosion, you will surely die without any air. If you had allowed me to power up, then it might have been different,' said Freeza. Pan growled, smirking, about to mouth off, but Goku beat her to it.
'If you're as strong as you say you are, then, power up. I want to kill you at your best. If I can't beat you when you're at full power, then I may as well lose now.' Pan stared at Goku with admiration, still excited at the prospect of fighting along side a Super Saiya-jin.
'I couldn't have said it better myself, Kakarott. Maybe you're more Saiya-jin than you let on. Go on Freeza. Power up. You'll be dead before we are.' Freeza grinned maniacally, and began to power up. Goku turned to Gohan, who had followed them. When he spoke, it was with anger, which confused Gohan to no end.
'Gohan. I want you to take Bulma and leave the planet as soon as possible.'
Gohan looked reluctant to leave. 'Gohan,' he cautioned. When his son didn't leave he decided to be more forceful. 'Leave now Gohan, or else!' Pan saw the trouble, and decided to 'help'. She walked over to Gohan and picked him up by his hair so that he was at an arms length.
'Listen, you disgusting hybrid! Your father gave you an order. If he was raised a true Saiya-jin, you'd be a bloody heap on the ground by now for disobeying him! Leave now, before I assume his role as a father, and beat you into submission!' Gohan began to tear up. He looked to his dad for comfort and help, but found a glare that said the same thing.
'You're putting the fight in jeopardy, brat! Go get Bulma, and get the fuck off this planet!!' yelled Goku. Gohan was terrified. His father had never yelled at him, or called him anything other than affectionate terms before in his life. His mother had, but that's what she did. His father was the good guy, the leg to hide behind when Chi-chi had the frying pan. Now he looked just like one of the Saiya-jins. He forced one leg to move, then the other. He gathered his ki and prepared to blast off. He hesitated.
'GO!!!' yelled both Goku and Pan simultaneously. Gohan blasted off at high speed.
Meanwhile, Freeza had used that time to power up, first to two thirds his power, then to full power. His muscles had tripled in size, making his whole form seem far more powerful.
'I'm am now at full power. Even I do not know know exactly what my power is, as scouters are incapable of reading powers with more than 7 digits,' said Freeza, getting Pan and Goku's attention. Goku smirked.
'I hate to rain on your parade, but I know exactly how strong you are. In case you haven't guessed by now, I can sense power levels. You're a little stronger than me, and just more than twice as strong as Pan.' Freeza looked at Pan and laughed.
'She's about ready to die. Look at her. Her skin is smoking. She can barely form a thought in her head the pain is so intense.' True to Freeza's word, Pan was in blinding pain. Her skin was not producing small wisps of smoke, but large amounts of it as Kaio Ken ravaged her body. She was hyperventilating, and blood was dripping from her to the ground below in steady streams. 'The way I understand it, Kaio Ken was never meant to be used to the extreme that Pan has taken it too. I doubt she's last much longer,' said Freeza. Goku agreed with him on that. Pan did look like she couldn't take anymore. Pan didn't seem to think so, for she held a bloody arm out in front of Goku, signaling for him to back off, as she stepped forward.
'I feel nothing but pain searing through my entire body, but I'm far from done, Freeza. Not until my body becomes incapable of supporting life will I give up.'
Pan launched herself at Freeza, and began to go into a frenzied flurry of punches and kick and ki blasts. Freeza, was fed up with fighting Pan, as he wished to fight the Super Saiya-jin. Freeza began to put full power behind his punches, and within seconds Pan was sent soaring into the ground, unconscious.
----
Pan awoke to see Goku and Freeza battling it out.
Goku had since been in contact with King Kai, and the Earth balls were almost gathered.
The planet was dark, lit mostly by lightning strikes and lava, which was pouring from everywhere, it seemed. Pan just got her bearings, when suddenly Goku was shoved into the lava by Freeza. Freeza shoved him in deep and jumped out, landing on the ground. She knew in that instance that Kakarott was dead, for she felt the warm glow of his energy vanish, even though she was untrained in ki sensing. Freeza cackled insanely.
'Ahaha!!! I have triumphed over my greatest fear! A Super Saiya-jin could not defeat me, a planet of Saiya-jins could not! I have proven that I am supreme.' He turned his eyes to Pan. 'And you are the last Saiya-jin. As much fun as it was killing a Super Saiya-jin, I can not risk another one popping up, so you're next.' Freeza attacked Pan. She dodged, and began to power up. She was forced to trade blows with him. Each blow she blocked became less and less painful as she powered up. She was wordlessly using Kaio Ken, each second going higher. When she was at Kaio Ken times 75 she stopped. She knew it all rested on her. If she couldn't kill Freeza now, then all hope for the Saiya-jin name was lost. They has thrown an army at him and lost, they had thrown their prince and lost. Now, even a Super Saiya-jin had been beaten. She knew that she was the last line of defence. After her, Freeza won. All the times Freeza had beaten her, humiliated her, raped her mind and heart were coming back to her. She had never forgotten, nor forgiven. She had hated him for everything. She thought about Vegeta, how he had gone through things with her, both before and after they met. How they would look out for eachother, even though neither would ever admit to doing so, and how Freeza had killed him.
Suddenly Pan's energy burned out. Pan knew that she had exhausted all of her power. She knew that it was not long now. She could feel King Kai's drink kick in. She could feel her body rapidly begin to cannibalise itself for energy to keep fighting. She knew at the rate her body was eating itself it wasn't long before it died. She decided to kick it into overdrive, and began to use more Kaio Ken. Her blows got more powerful, and faster. Soon her body was decimated as both Kaio Ken and the drink ravaged it beyond repair. She broke Freeza's right arm and began to smash through his defences. She beat him as hard as she could, Kaio Ken rising quickly. She pushed Freeza back, and he sent a slow, but killing blast her way. She knew she couldn't survive it, block it, or avoid it, so she decided to go out with a bang.
'Kaio Ken times one hundred!!!' Her body literally burst into flames, licking at her flesh, eating away everything. Her blood was literally boiling in her veins, oozing out and bubbling as it dripped from her in streams to the ground below. She cupped her hands in front of her and did the first thing that came to mind. 'FINAL FLASH!!!!' Her blast shot forward as Freeza's blast incinerated her burning form.
A split second later, the wish was made to wish back all those who died because of Freeza on Namek. She saw through eyes unburdened by pain or blood, as the blast crashed into Freeza. She had no idea what had happened, knowing that she should be dead. The blast hit Freeza dead on, mowing right through him, then heading into space and blowing up a moon.
Goku, Pan, Vegeta, Dende and all the Nameks were brought back.
------
Vegeta crawled from the grave, disorientated. The last thing he could remember was outright refusing to accept death, and being cast off snake road. He looked around at the doomsday-like landscape. He could feel three enormous powers in the distance. He knew that one of them had to be Freeza, even though he didn't think Freeza could be so strong. He had a hunch that the other two were Pan and Kakarott. He didn't waste anytime in finding out, as he blasted off. He instantly found that he was much stronger than before he had died. As he got closer, he saw the Dragon towering over the landscape, and he put all his energy into getting there faster.
He arrived at where the three powers were, and his first though was Pan. He looked at her, and while her clothes were torn, she didn't have a scratch on her. Neither did Kakarott, even though his clothes were a mess. He suddenly realised that they had both died and been wished back too. He approached Pan, and the two embraced, after a stare down. Vegeta looked at Goku from his position and pulled back from Pan.
'Kakarott, you dog! You've done it! You've actually become a Super Saiya-jin,' cheered Vegeta, too excited to care that it wasn't him who was the legendary. Goku smirked a very Saiya-jin like smirk and nodded in the affirmative. 'Now together, as Saiya-jins, we can smite Freeza!' said Vegeta excitedly.
'Not likely! I don't know how you're all alive, but you won't be for much longer! I just wished for immortality!' Goku smirked, knowing that the wish had to be made in Namek.
'Pan, make the wish,' ordered Goku, even though he meant it as a request. Pan didn't bother to make statements about ordering her around, and began to speak in Namek to the dragon. Halfway through the wish Vegeta's eyes widened in hurt and shock.
'P-Pan?!?' he questioned. She finished the wish and turned to Vegeta.
'I'm sorry Vegeta, but you're not strong enough to fight Freeza. I don't want you to die again,' said Pan truthfully. The wish had been to wish everyone on Namek to Planet Earth, apart from Freeza, Goku and Pan. Vegeta's mouth was open, as if to say something, but he couldn't think straight. He just said the first thing that came to mind.
'I don't care if I'm to weak to beat him! I'll try anyway! And why do you care if I get hurt!?' he demanded.
'Because I--' Pan stopped short, unsure of what she was about to say. The dragon's eyes flashed red, and it vanished. 'Because I care about you,' Pan admitted, but too late. Vegeta only caught the 'Because I' part before he was teleported to earth.
'NO!!!' screamed Freeza, enraged that he had been denied his wish. 'You'll pay for this, monkeys!!!' He formed a purple disk and sent it hurtling towards the two Saiya-jins. Goku dodged, and it followed him. Pan decided to fight Freeza while Goku was off.
*Ok* she thought. *Let's try Kaio Ken times 80. I'm stronger now that I've been fully healed, so maybe I can take this.* She powered up to Kaio Ken times 80, and to her surprise, barely began to smoke. She took Freeza head on, and matched him blow for blow. They were now equal in power, and Freeza was already down an arm. Freeza was quickly beaten back, each one of Pan's blows crushing in their strength. She heard Goku yell duck at the top of his lungs, and she decided to listen to him, trusting him to not toy with her. She was just out of the way when the disk, which had broken in two, sliced off Freeza's broken arm and his lower half. He knew that he was going to lose if he didn't finish it now. He decided on a little speech before he used his final attack. As he said it, Pan and Goku drifted into the sky together, far from Freeza.
'Monkeys! I am Freeza, Lord of the universe, and I will not be beaten by a pair of Saiya-jins! You cannot win. It is impossible,' Freeza began in a loud voice but turned to a hateful spit. 'Because I am mighty, and you are not.' Using his one arm, he blasted them with all his power.
Pan and Goku exchanged glances from where they were, and somehow just, *knew*, what to do. Pan powered up to Kaio Ken times 100, causing her new power to match Goku's even though she wasn't a Super Saiya-jin. She cupped her hands at her side, as did Goku, so that they were concentrating energy into a single blast. They both yelled 'KAAA-MEEEE-HAAAAA-MEEEEE-HAAAAAA!!!!!!!' at the same time, and the massive Kamehameha easily overcame Freeza's mighty blast, sending him to the core of the planet.
Pan and Goku managed to find the Ginyu force's space ship, and they escaped the planet, riding the shockwave to safety.
-------
Vegeta's pod sped over the landscape of planet Namek, making everything appear a blur.
