AUTHOR'S NOTE: Sorry I have been really busy with the holidays just around the corner
its been really crazy at my house right now. But a quick comment, no Bulma is not in
New Orleans But she is in a Southwestern town, closer to home for me and yes, this
place has fantastic sunsets!
So on with the story!

Bulma Runs Away - Part 3

Bulma was standing outside on her balcony, looking up at the nightsky, not really looking
at the stars, the night was warm as she hugged herself, 'Vegeta must have found out by
now.'

Then the phone rang inside her room, she rushed in and picked up the phone, "Hello?"

"Hi Bulma, its me Chi-Chi."

"Hi Chi-Chi, He knows now, doesn't he?"

"Yes Bulma, I just got off the phone with him and yes, I told him."

Bulma chewed on her bottom lip before she asked, "What was his reaction?"

"Well.........." Chi-Chi was hesitant to tell her, "Well, Bulma he wasn't too happy, with all the
cursing over the phone. He did say to me that he'll find you and bring you back, because
you made him miss his dinner and training for the day waiting for you."

Bulma was furious with the Baka Prince, 'How could he say that, that........." She could feel
her heart shatter, "How dare he do that and not even care about me?"

Bulma didn't even remember saying good-bye to Chi-Chi or putting down the phone, her
deep blue eyes became stormy with anger, "If thats the way he wants to play it, then so
be it." Bulma said it outloud and it echoed in the small room, "I'm going to make him find
me, for once!!"

Her eyes glittered with excitement of the upcoming race. To keep one foot ahead of her
Saiyan husband, she has to be quicker than he.

Meanwhile............

V egeta was lets say, was pacing like a lion in a cage, he probably didn't even realize he was pacing, if he did he probably would have stop and just stood there and brooded, with his
arms crossed over his chest and his famliar scowl on his face.

"Why? Why did my mate run away? She has the brats and I. She has her inventions, what
more could she possibly want?"

Then it clicked, "Shes challenging me to find her and to bring her back, like a true warrior!"
(Yes it can be taught, But I don't think Bulma had that in mind, being thrown over his
shoulder like a sack of potatoes!!)

Walking out of the house, Vegeta blasted off into the sky, to search for his absent mate.

He felt the bond grow stronger as he approached the western seaboard of the United
States, the landscape flew by as he zeroed in on his mate.

The lights lite up the sky as he landed on her hotel room's balcony, entering the room
through the sliding door, he found it cold, there was no trace of his soulmate, none
to be found.

High above the earth Bulma, breathed a sigh of relief, 'That was too, close,' Vegeta
was nearby, she could feel him through the bond that they share.

SOMEWHERE IN SOUTH AMERICA

Bulma's plane landed, but she quickly caught another flight, she would get no rest in
this challenge it seems.

He could sense her running again, he smirked a grin, 'Thats his Bulma!' His black eyes
shone brightly with excitement, he licked his lips in anticipation, 'Soon Woman, soon,
you'll be mine!'

Bulma look up startled, she felt that, the hunter was getting closer. She was enjoying
this chase! Closing her eyes she had a feeling, Vegeta was toying with her, to play
this new game. She didn't get upset with him, for she was enjoying this pursuit also.

SOMEWHERE IN EUROPE

Keeping accounts on were Bulma ends up well, its hard keeping up on this part,
she keeps one foot ahead of him, and Vegeta well hes gaining on her, by inches.
But this is Vegeta hes faster than light and sound combined, and besides, hes
letting her be ahead of him, in this chase.


So use your imagination now, like in some movies and cartoons, they show a map
and dots, on were a person have been so lets recap: Bulma starts off in Satan City,
then somewhere in the southwestern part of the U.S.

Then in South America, now she somewhere in Europe, and shes getting tired, very
tired.

Vegeta could feel the exhaustion radiate from his mate's link. He stops in mid-air
and hovers, feeling her nearby, he levitates to the ground, sitting indian style,
meditating, he waits, until his prey is on the move again. He smiles, 'Soon very
soon, she'll be mine!'

As he sat there and meditated, a sudden feeling so foreign to him, it shocked him
to the core, for he hadn't felt like this since after his son from the future was kill by
Cell in front of his eyes. The brat who had come to the past to save him,
the boy he didn't really know or didn't have time, to get to know in this world and the
future was because of his training to be better that Kakarrot, had died.

He felt as if his soul was ripped out, he felt empty, he had to find her, for he didn't
want to feel that way again!!

He felt that need, to bring her home and say he was sorry! Vegeta jerked at that,
'HIM?' The Saiyan prince say 'sorry', to a weakling human female? But a sudden
thought ripped through his sub-consious, 'What if she doesn't want to return?
Could he bear that thought that his mate would reject not returning with him?
After this exciting chase is over with and they were face to face?

For once the proud (okay, Overbearing) prince felt shocked, he missed her, his
soulmate with all his heart!

Bulma fell asleep smiling, for she felt through the bond, that Vegeta had stopped
chasing her for the moment and wouldn't resume the 'chase' until she awoke.

Cliffhanger! Cliffhanger!! Ok, so Vegeta is a wee bit out of character but hey its
for the best, Bulma just brings it out of him!
