C.S.S. Interviews and Introductions

“Tell me why we're doing this again?” Bulma asked boredly but with a little hint of anger in her voice.

They were an hour away from landing on Vegetasei. Bulma and Chi-Chi sat in the back of the air car getting ready and Yaumcha was in the front, driving. He was the only one with the sense of direction. Chi-Chi looked over at Bulma and smiled.

“Because this is the most important assignment we have ever had and we're going to get promoted when we complete it.”

Yaumcha laughed, interrupting their conversation.

“Yeah, whatever Chi-Chi. They tell us that every time they give us an assignment, and so far, all of them have been bullshit.”

“I agree.” Bulma said as she slipped on her heels. “Our assignments have been rather boring. I hope that this one is worth it. If it isn't, I'm going to be so pissed that I gave up my vacation for it.” She gave Chi-Chi a death glare, who was smiling.

“Well I'm pretty hopeful. I've got a feeling that our lives are going to change drastically from this trip.” Chi-Chi grabbed at her briefcase that was sitting next to her and pulled out three pieces of paper. She gave one to Bulma, one to Yaumcha, and kept one for herself. “I forgot to give these to you guys before we left. These are our resumes.”

Bulma looked over hers and laughed a little. “ You've got to be kidding?! Krillin gave you these?” she asked Chi-Chi and she nodded. “I'm going to be a guard for Prince Vegeta.”

“I heard that guy is an asshole.” Yauncha said from the front.

“I heard that too. Well, if he is, I'm not going to take any crap from him!”

“Just don't give yourself away. We all know how moody you get, Bulma.”

“Oh, shut up, Yaumcha!” She looked over to Chi-Chi's paper. “What's your job?”

“I'm going to be a palace cook.” She said happily.

“Will you be the only one?”

“I don't think so, why?”

“Well, you know how much Saiyans like to eat. They eat by the tons.”

Chi-Chi paled. “R-really?”

Bulma laughed. “Nah, I'm joking with you Chi. Actually, I don't know anything about the Saiyan race. I'm sure they don't eat that much. You'll be alright.'

“Chi-Chi relaxed a bit, then walked over to Yaumcha.

“What do you have Yaumcha?” Chi-Chi asked and he handed her his resume. “The palace janitor, huh? Sounds cool.”

“Whatever. I always get the crappy jobs.”

“I'm sure you'll love it.” Chi-Chi said reassuringly as she gave him a friendly kiss on the cheek, then walked to the back of the aircraft.

Yaumcha looked at his watch. “Ok, we only have about 30 minutes until we land on Vegetasei. Let's go over some things first.” He heard the girls mumble an O.K., then he continued. “When we go in, we're going to go in separate entrances. We don't want to appear as if we all know each other.”

“Alright, now where are we going to meet up at, since we'll be working their jobs during the day?” Bulma asked.

“Glad you asked. We can't just schedule meetings, because you never know who will be around and at what times. I have some earpieces for us to keep in at all times. If you want to talk, all you have to do is press it. Depress it when you finish so that one of us can respond.   No one will be able to hear our conversations. I'll give then to you guys as soon as we land.”

“So, wheat about the guys that we're chasing? How will we be able to point them out?”

Chi-Chi reached into her briefcase and pulled out three photos and handed them to Bulma. “Krillin gave me these when he gave us this assignment. The guy with the dark hair, spiky hair is Radditz, the fat, pink one is Dodoria and the silky-haired guy is Zarbon.”

Bulma took a good, long look, then walked up to Yaumcha holding out the pictures out for him to look at. She took over the steering wheel as he looked.

“So if we see these guys, we'll contact each other, then we'll see if they lead us to anything suspicious, ok?” Chi-Chi said walking up to the front of the air car with Bulma and Yaumcha.

They nodded as Yaumcha took the wheel again. “Oh, and don't forget to call Krillin.”

“I'll do that now.” Bulma said, pulling her cell phone out from her purse, and spoke Krillin's name into the receiver. The phone rang ten times before he finally answered.

“Hello?!?” Krillin voice yelled through the phone.

“Um…Krillin? It's me, Bulma. Just letting you know that we are about to touch down. Are you alright?”

“No! 18's having the baby and I'm in as much pain as she's in. She's kicking my ass. I didn't think that could be possible while in labor?!”

Bulma giggled. “She wants you to know how she feels.”

“Yeah, well, anyways, good luck and…AH!!!!!” Bulma blinked twice and looked at her phone, then another screaming voice yelled into the phone. But this time, it was female.

“Krillin's busy dammit!!! He might be dead if you try and call back!” and with that, the call ended. Bulma put her phone back into her purse and grinned. Chi-Chi noticed.

“What's up?” Chi-Chi asked as the air car shook a bit. They had just touched down on Vegetasei.

“18's having the baby and Krillin's about to die.”

Yaumcha laughed full out and Chi-Chi pouted.

“He better not die before we get back. I want my recognition, dammit!”

After landing, Bulma, Chi-Chi and Yaumcha jumped out of the aircraft and Yaumcha decapsulated it before anyone saw them. They looked over the spot that they had just landed and discovered that they we right in front of the Vegetasei Palace.  Yaumcha then pulled to three earpieces and gave Bulma and Chi-Chi one.

“ Remember, ff you guys see or hear anything,  press the button and alert everyone.” He placed the tiny earpiece into his ear and Bulma and Chi-Chi followed. “And don't forget…we are here on business, not pleasure. So, don't go out and start dating anyone.”

Bulma and Chi-Chi looked at each other, then hit him in the back of the head.

“We already know that, and besides, I'm sure that no good looking guys are on this planet.” Bulma said.

“I'm just make sure that you understand. It could ruin everything, you know.” Yaumcha looked at his watch and they began walking up to the palace with him telling Bulma and Chi-Chi to choose an entrance to go into. Yaumcha went in the front, and Bulma and Chi-Chi each took a side entrance.

Yaumcha's interview was the first. He had a little note attached to his resume', telling him that his interview would be taking place in the basement of the palace. He walked down the hall of the basement until he came to a small desk, and behind it was a door. He heard sounds coming from behind the desk, and he leaned over to see what it was. At the same time as he was leaning, a Saiyan woman was slowly rising from under the desk, causing Yaumcha to stand up straight again.

“Sorry, I dropped my pen.” The woman said with a flirty tone in her voice.

Yaumcha looked over the Saiyan woman standing behind the desk, and was rather surprised. He once heard that Saiyan women were ugly and manly.

It was obliviously a lie.

Her hair was a deep burgundy and her eyes were the same color. Her hair was thick and it flowed down to the middle of her back. He glanced at her lips , and she licked them softly. Her lips were perfect,

`She is so beautiful…'

Shaking it off, he snapped out of his trance.

“Hi, my name is Yaumcha and I'm here for the janitor position.” He tried to sound professional.

“I'm sure you are…” She said as she licked her lips again and walked out from behind the desk to look him over. She walked a slow circle around him, giving him some rather seductive glances and her hands behind her back. “You're human, right?”

He could only nod. He got the feeling that she was checking him out and it made him feel a little uncomfortable.

“You're very cute.” She said as she stopped in front of him. “My name is Trelina. You'll be working down here with me.” She held out her hand for him to shake it and he did.

He was marveled at how soft her hands were. All Saiyans, men and women were known for their fighting, and they usually used their hands. He expected them to be full of callous, but they were very soft and smooth.

`She must be really careful with her hands…'

“You will start tomorrow.” Trelina began, teasing him by poking her chest out to him. He tried his best to ignore her. “Tonight, we will be having dinner with the King.”

“Really?” Yaumcha asked, giving Trelina his full attention, no longer paying attention to her flirty tactics. “Why?”

“Because, we're suppose to be getting a like three new staff members and the King thought it would be good, so that all of us can get to know each other, you know?”

He nodded. “Great. Could you tell me where my room is located so that I can go freshen up?”

“With pleasure.” Trelina walked in front of him, motioning him to follow her with her finger. She swayed her hips more to get his attention. He wasn't paying her any mind as he was wondering if any of their targets were going to be at dinner tonight.

Chi-Chi nervously  walked into the palace-dining hall, where her interview was supposed to be held and she bumped into something that felt like a brick wall. Falling to the floor with a light thud, she looked up at what she hit. Before her stood a tall, and very large Saiyan Woman. She was an older woman, and her face was set in a scowl and her arms were folded across her chest. Chi-Chi picked herself up, brushed off her suit, and smiled nervously at the older woman.

“You here for the Cook position?” The woman asked angrily.

“Yes.” Chi-Chi said, a frown forming on her face.

`Geez, what's her problem? She must have got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning…'

“Can you cook?”

“Yes.”

“Then you're hired. You start tomorrow.”

Chi-Chi smiled. “Thanks. So, who are my Co-workers? When am I going to meet them?”

The woman looked at Chi-Chi's innocent face  and grinned.

`Poor girl. She doesn't know what she's gotten herself into…'

“There are no other cooks. You're it.”

Chi-Chi's face dropped. “Just me? You mean I'm the only cook for the entire palace?!?”

“No, just the royalties. The King, the prince and their guards.”

Chi-Chi smiled again. She had an easy job. She wouldn't have to work often, and then meant that she would have more time to work to her assignment. Her thoughts were interrupted as the woman pushed a stack of papers in Chi-Chi's arms. Chi-Chi looked up at the woman curiously.

“What are these for? Do I have to sign them?”

“No,” the woman said. “This is the recipes of the food you'll be cooking on a daily basis.”

Chi-Chi's eyes widened. “What?!? You've got to be kidding me?”

“No, they eat by the tons. Have fun.” The woman said, leaving Chi-Chi thinking of the joke Bulma made earlier. Sure she was a good cook, but she never made enough to feed an army.

“Oh, and we are having dinner here in a half hour. I'll take you to your room so you can relax a bit.” The woman put an arm around a sad Chi-Chi and they walked to her room.

Bulma stood in front of the King of Vegetasei as he looked her over. She was getting rather annoyed and impatient with him. It seemed like he was trying to intimidate her. Bulma folded her arms across her chest and narrowed her eves at him.

“Are you going to give me the job, or what? `Cause if not, I'm wasting my time here.” Bulma growled.

King Vegeta, who was sitting at his throne, now stood and walked up to Bulma. He was surprised at she still kept her pissed off look when her  stared at her. Most of his Saiyan people would die or run scared, but not her. And she was a human.

“Oh, my son is going to love you.” King Vegeta said sarcastically. “You've got spunk and I like that. You could even pass for Saiyan except for your exotic coloring.” He added.

“So, I'm hired?” she asked and he nodded. “Great. When do I start.”

“Immediately.” King Vegeta walked past her and over to his door. “Come, I'll show you to where you'll be staying.”

Bulma walked over to him and then began to walk down the long palace hall. Bulma took in the scenery as the walked. The palace was unlike what she thought in would be. She imagined it to be dark, goth-like and gray, but instead, it was all done up in a crème color and had stained glass windows. There were also Saiyan statues scattered on each side of the hall. It was indeed beautiful. She felt eyes on her so she looked up at the King and he was looking down on her.

“As you know, you'll be a guard for my son, Prince Vegeta. You won't be fighting al all, but you are going to assist in his decision-making. How old are you , child?”

“21. Why does he need help with making decisions? Can't he do that for himself?”

King Vegeta chuckled. “Afraid not. He's a spoiled brat and all he wants to do is fight, get stronger and become a Super Saiyan. He's 23. I know that you are younger than what I was looking for, but I'm sure I made the right choice with you. You seem mature enough.”

“Thank You.” Bulma said smiling. They stopped in front of a closed door and King Vegeta slid it open. They walked in and King Vegeta turned on the light. Bulma gasped at how big her room was. Everything was electronic and her room was equipped with a computer. She could do her work right from her room. Great. She looked over her queen-sized bed and walked over to the closet, opening it. There was a closet full of Saiyan training suits.

“You'll be wearing these when you are working.” He said, looking over to her. “We'll have to get then fitted since they were made for the build for a Saiyan woman. The tailor will do that immediately.”

Bulma nodded and closed the closet door, then plopped down on her new bed.

“The room is so beautiful,” she began, but was cut short as her attention took to something else. These was some sort of light show going on in the room next to hers. At this time, she also noticed the second door in her room. “What's going on in there?” she asked, still looking at the door.

“My son and his other guard, Kakkarot are at it again.” He sighed. “I'll introduce you.” King Vegeta walked over to the second door and Bulma followed behind him. He opened the door and let Bulma walk in first.

She watched two golden beams float around the room and was caught staring until one of the blasts went straight for her.

“AAAAHHHHHHH!!” She yelled, falling to the floor to avoid the blast from striking her. King Vegeta easily caught the blast in his hand, causing the two men to put their sparring match on hold.

“You two should really start using the gravity chamber when you want to spar. You'll end up hurting someone.” King Vegeta chuckled, looking down at Bulma, who was still on the floor. “ Let me introduce you to…”

“Dammit! Why don't you watch where you're shooting that crap!” Bulma yelled and interrupted King Vegeta as she stood up. “You almost killed me!”

Vegeta and Kakkarot both looked at the woman standing before them. Kakkarot was about to apologize, but Vegeta walked up to her so close, that their noses almost touched.

They stood like that for a moment in silence and Vegeta noticed that he wasn't getting to her and this amused him. He took a step back, then looked over at his father.

“I do not need another whore, Father. I have too many already.”

Bulma's face turned beet red in anger. “Did you just call me a whore?”

Vegeta smirked. “That's what you are.” He took a good look at her. She had blue hair and blue eyes. Her hair was done up in a tight bun and she wore a black,  form fitting business suit. She was indeed attractive, but he wasn't going to give her the satisfaction. “You're a human whore at that. I can't do anything with you but shake you around like a rag doll.”

“How dare you , you little fuck! I'm not a whore, and I would never sleep with the likes of you!” She steeped in closer to him until she was almost touching his nose again, then she spoke just above a whisper. “And just so you know, I could hold my own against you. I'm better than any Saiyan woman you could ever have. But, you're not my type.”

Vegeta growled low at her. Part of him was turned on by her forwardness, but the other part of him was pissed that she would disrespect him like that.

“You little bitch…”

Kakkarot blinked twice at them. No one ever spoke to Prince Vegeta like this, and what was even more strange, was that King Vegeta watched on with enjoyment. He decided to speak up.

“Um…excuse me, King Vegeta, but who is she exactly?”

King Vegeta smirked at the two before turning his attention to Kakkarot. “She's Vegeta's new guard.”

Kakkarot and Vegeta's eyes widened. “New guard?” The said in unison. Vegeta took a step back.

“What about me?” Kakkarot asked.

“Don't worry. You're still his guard. She's going to be helping out in his Decision-making. You are more like his sparring partner.”

Kakkarot gave the King a goofy grin. “Yeah, I guess so.”

Vegeta growled at his father and began to speak to him, but his eyes were still on the woman. “I don't need another guard, Father.”

“Well, I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere, so. Get. Used. To. It.” Bulma snapped.

Although this scene was very amusing to King Vegeta, he had to stop them. Dinner was going to be served soon. “Go and get ready for dinner, Miss Briefs and I'll be back to get you shortly to escort you down.”

Bulma nodded, rolled her eyes at Vegeta, and then walked into her own room, shutting the door behind her.

Vegeta watched her walk in until the door shut behind her.

“The bitch needs to learn some manners.”
          & nbsp;           &nbs p;            & nbsp;           &nbs p;            & nbsp;           &nbs p;           ~*~
Thirty minutes later, King Vegeta escorted Bulma down to the dining hall. Prince Vegeta and Kakkarot were walking them. She looked back at Kakkarot and smiled at him. He seemed nice enough and she thought that they would get along quite well. She looked over to Vegeta and he once again growled at her.

`Does this guy think he's a dog or something…'

Vegeta immaturely threw up his middle finger, and Bulma kissed her hand and placed it on her backside, telling him to kiss her ass. She turned back to King Vegeta.

“King Vegeta, do you have any guards?”

“Of course I do.”

“Oh. They why aren't they here?”

“I only have one, and he's working on something right now. I'm sure he'll be joining us for dinner.”

“Oh ok.”

They entered the dining hall and it was full. Bulma looked around for Chi-Chi and Yaumcha. There was one long, rectangular-shaped table in the room and about fifty seats. Chi-Chi was sitting towards the back of the table, and Yaumcha was a couple of seats away from her. She turned her attention away from them as King Vegeta held out a chair for her to sit. She sat down, but scooted away a bit when she noticed that she was sitting right next to Vegeta.

He humphed at her actions, but this caused him to get a better glimpse of her. She had a lot of energy and matched his every word. He'd never been around someone who wasn't afraid of him. It could  be a lot worse. His father could have hired a weakling to be his guard.

Bulma felt Vegeta's eyes on her and she looked over to him. He growled once again and quickly turned his head.

`So the little prick was staring at me, huh?…”

She looked him over. She had to admit that he was very attractive and really muscular. He had no facial hair, unlike his father who had a goatee.  He had nice shaped lips. Too bad he had such a bad attitude. Shaking those kind of thoughts out of her head, she started to wonder exactly what kind of decisions she would be making for him.

“Hey, Vegeta?” Bulma asked as she scooted her chair back to its original space. “What am I going to be deciding for you?”

He smirked. “A mate.”

Bulma was shocked. Was he serious? “Excuse me?”

“You'll be choosing a mate suitable for me.”

Her eyes widened. “But…”

“Sorry I'm late, sire. My business took a little longer that expected.”

Bulma looked up and over the King. The person's voice she had just heard was now standing behind King Vegeta's Chair. She gasped to herself.

He looked exactly like one of the guys from their pictures. Yeah, it was definitely one of the three that they were looking for.  Bulma looked over to Chi-Chi, and Chi-Chi looked over to Yaumcha, who nodded an affirmative.

It was Radditz.

One down, two to go…
