Chapter 1
In this chapter the Ginyu Force has six members, you'll see why…
Frieza's daughters were a myth among most of his men, but when Prince Vegeta was eight years old he found out that it was no myth.
Vegeta POV
It was like any other day on Frieza's war ship for Radditz and I. We were suffering one of our many beatings. It was hard to bear for a saiyan to be defenseless. No matter how hard we fought back we would always end up in the regen tanks. The only thing that kept us going was the knowledge that every time they beat us we would get stronger. One day we would be the ones laughing.
Radditz and I were presently being stomped into corridor floor by the six members of the elite Ginyu Force. I was still conscious and staring off into the hall way behind my attacker. From around the corner appeared a little girl. She had stark white hair, pointed ears, and she was very tiny.
My first thought was what would a little girl be doing on Frieza's ship? No women were allowed on Frieza's ship.
She looked lost and afraid. She turned and looked our way. Her bright green eyes were impossible to miss as she stared at the backs of the Ginyu Force. She slowly walked towards us and I wanted to call out to her to tell her to run. She obviously did not know how dangerous these men were, but my lungs could barely gather enough air for us to breath let alone talk. The sight of them beating us up did not seem to deter her either. She stood very close staring up at Baldric, the largest of the Ginyu Force.
“Excuse me? Excuse me?” She asked shyly in a voice that sounded like the coo of a dove. “Excuse me? I'm…” Before she could finish Baldric turned around and shouted.
“Shut up!” He slapped the girl and she slid across the floor. I felt my adrenaline jump; I was disgusted that he would hit an innocent child. I was beaten almost everyday, but that little girl obviously had not had such pain ever. She was innocent, pure. I was astonished that she wasn't unconscious when I heard her crying. She was curled up on the floor a few feet away sobbing holding her face.
I growled at Baldric and gained another kick in the ribs. A few minutes later Zarbon and a woman with red hair dressed in a white dress came around the corner and saw the little girl crying. The woman rushed to her and picked her up. She saw the red mark on her face and sucked in a breath. “Oh you poor dear. Kali, what happened? We've been looking everywhere for you.”
The little girl continued to sob, but pointed Baldric. “I was….l…lost. He…hit me!” She said brokenly.
The woman's face paled and she held the child close soothing her as best she could.
Zarbon stepped forward. “You.” He said to Baldric. Our beating stopped and Radditz and I just lay there immobile as we listened to the conversation.
“Did you hit her?” Zarbon asked seriously.
“I slapped her, she was being a bother. I didn't hit her that hard.” Baldric grumbled.
Zarbon's frown deepened. “Lord Frieza wants to see you.” Those six words were enough to make any man shiver in terror.
Baldric went off with Zarbon and the woman took the little girl away. While we were taken to the regen tanks.
The next day I heard gossip amongst the men. Frieza had killed Baldric because he had slapped his daughter. `His daughter!' I could hardly believe it. That angel was offspring of Frieza! The rumors were true, Frieza did have children. She didn't seem anything like him. `Kali, her name was.' My mind began to race with thoughts of how such a meek little girl could be Frieza's child. I shook my head to get rid of my thoughts and went off to train.
A month or so later Radditz and I were in Frieza's throne room. He was telling us all the ways we had screwed up on our last mission. No matter how efficiently we completed our purges he always found fault with them. Suddenly the door flew open and Zarbon ran to kneel beside us. Without being beckoned to speak he looked up at Frieza and stuttered. “Forgive me sire, but she is in labor!” Zarbon's breathing was ragged and Radditz and I both looked at him through the corner of our eyes, at first I was sure I was crazy. Had Zarbon just said labor?
Frieza did not chastise Zarbon he just hurriedly dismissed us and headed off with Zarbon in quite a hurry.
“What was that all about?” Radditz asked. I shook my head as I did not no either.
It wasn't until years later that I would learn it was the birth of his third daughter that caused him to leave so abruptly.
Radditz POV
Three years later when I was nineteen and Vegeta was eleven we met Frieza's eldest daughter. Vegeta and I were having a disagreement with two low rank weakling soldiers. It was one thing to have Frieza and the Ginyu Force beat on you and put you down it was another when weaklings stepped out of place to call us bastards.
I pulled my fist back ready to punch one of them in the jaw when I heard a strong feminine voice say, “Stop!” I held my fist and turned toward the voice. It was then I saw her, she was only fourteen at the time, yet still very beautiful. It was impossible to miss her sheer gossamer wings. Her wavy chestnut colored hair was pulled away from her face and hung all the way down her back, but what captured my attention was her shimmering silver eyes. “What are you doing?” She asked regally her head held high not the least bit intimidated by my massive height or build. As she spoke to me I failed to notice her entourage.
I smirked at her and lowered my arm turning fully to face her. “Fighting, it's what soldiers do.”
She seemed surprised that I had spoken to her, but it did not ruin her composure. “Yes, but with one another?” She asked.
“It's a private disagreement.”
Her eyebrows raised a little. “What's your name?”
“Radditz. And who may I ask are you beautiful?” I grinned devilishly at her and she finally broke out in a grin of her own. I am quite the flirt when I get the chance.
“Patrice.” She answered softly. Her grin stayed, but her tone turned serious once again. “Radditz I would appreciate it if you refrained from violence until my sisters and I have passed. They are still young and I do not wish them exposed to such things.” She motioned to her entourage, and I finally noticed the little girl clinging to her dress and the row of women behind her one of them holding a giggling baby with horns!
I raised my eyebrows at the group, but turned my gaze back to Patrice. “Gladly, but you must realize that fighting is a main stay in life and they will see a fair share of violence sooner or later.” Before Patrice could reply one of the women behind her who was dressed like a warrior glared at him and shouted.
“Enough! You will show her the respect she deserves as Princess!”
The word hit me like a ki blast from nowhere and immediately all four of us hit our knees in a bow. `I'm such an idiot! She is Frieza's daughter?! What was I thinking? There are never this many women on Frieza's ship!'
“Apologize to her!” The woman shouted frustrated.
“Forgive me my lady. I spoke out of turn it won't happen again.” I was sick to my stomach to have to beg forgiveness.
I heard her voice, stern, “Don't let it happen again. I will not tell my father about this.” With that her and the entourage moved past them.
When they disappeared from the hall Vegeta and I commenced beating the two soldiers and then headed back to our quarters.
“Radditz! Are you crazy? Flirting with Frieza's daughter!” Vegeta was railing at me about my flirting, but all I could think of was her smile until Vegeta shouted. “Radditz!”
“Yeah?” I stuttered coming back to myself.
“Fraternizing with her will only get you killed.” Vegeta said with seriousness no eleven year old should have.
I nodded solemnly knowing he was right, besides I had sworn when Vegeta-sei was destroyed that I would protect Vegeta from Frieza's corruption. He had no time to flirt with the enemy.
Next chapter…… they get older and stronger
