Around the Fire – Part One
“You really don’t eat?” Gohan asked.
“No,” Piccolo answered.
They sat on opposite sides of the fire Gohan constructed to roast the deer he killed. The boy was shocked when, after a nod of approval for the efficient kill, the Namek refused any of the meat.
“How can you stay strong if you don’t eat? I run out of energy if I don’t at least get a snack.”
“My body absorbs energy from the water I drink and the air I breathe.
Gohan sunk his teeth into the medium-rare meat and shook his head. “Too bad. I really like eating.”
