“I can believe he’s coming back!” Bulma chimed, cleaning the house of C.C. Vegeta watched with amusement while eating his sandwich.
Why did it seem just like last week they had moved into the beach house when it was nearly a year ago?
Vegeta gazed upon his woman, her hair dangled against her shoulders, her face no longer pale in her misery. Her weakness about her father had past with a few short months and now she was back to the way she was before. Annoying. He growled when she kissed him in front of his six-year old brat who giggled and looked away. Bra though not remembering all that she used to was slowly going back to her old ways unconsciously. Her lisp was beginning to return and her annoying habit of not sounding her ‘g’s and adding ‘s’ to words like ‘yous’ was also recurring. But personally, it made Vegeta a bit relieved. She would be his princess again in no time.
Bulma lifted up her little child, “Let’s go put you in your best clothes for your brother, huh?”
“Is Nesa comin?”
“Yep, her and Jory should be here in a few minutes.”
“Can I play with the baby?”
“Of course you can. You just got to remember to control your ki the way daddy taught you. The baby isn’t as strong as you so you need to be careful.”
“I like Jory, Mommy. I don’t wants to hurt him.” Once the two disappeared behind the metal elevator door, the old woman came through the playroom, clapping her hands together in excitement.
“Oh, I can’t wait to see my beautiful grandson. I bet he’s grown up into a man now that he’s eighteen. I just wished he had come home sooner. I don’t know why he had to stay away for a year. So his business needed him, family should always come first. But then again he’s a responsible young man of course he’s going to stay with his business. So much like his mother and grandfather. I’m just so glad he’s coming. Maybe then we’ll find out more about the beautiful girl I see on his arm all the time. How do you feel about it, Vegeta? Aren’t you just ecstatic that he’s coming home? He looks more and more like you every time I see him on the TV, so gorgeous.”
“Come on, Grandma, I think I’m a bit better looking.” Vegeta’s eyes had all ready been on him for the past minutes the old woman had been talking constantly to herself. Trunks smiled delightfully when she screamed in her enjoyment and wrapped him in a hug, kissing him all of his face leaving her red lipstick everywhere. “I missed you too.” He kissed her cheek, before prying her off where she quickly began setting the table for dinner. Trunks came over with a broad grin, “Miss me, Dad?” He laughed when his father just rolled his eyes.
The elevator binged, “Trunks?” Bulma cried flinging her arms around him. “Oh, my baby, how I missed you.”
“I missed you too, mommy.” He kissed her neck, taking in her scent. But a small tug on his shirt caused his comfort to be pulled away. He looked down at the little girl and quickly swept her in his arms, “Bra, I’ve missed you so much.”
“I missed you too, butor.” She whimpered in his arms.
Trunks eyes widened at his name, yanking away to stare down at her. “Do you remember me?”
“Why wouldn’t I remember you?”
His eyes quickly fled to Bulma, “Did she get her memory back?”
Bulma smiled wildly, “Not entirely, sweetie, but shortly, I just know it” She picked the little child up, “She is more like herself everyday.”
Trunks snapped his head to the elevator, smiling brightly when the woman inside stepped out. He quickly went to her wrapping his arms tight around her. Bulma looked to Vegeta who looked at her. The boy led her closer, “Mom, Dad, Bra, Grandma, I’d like you to meet Taylor.” He spoke in perfect English. “We’ve been dating for the past few months.”
“How you doin? Nice to meet yous.” But the couple didn’t answer. She leaned over, “I thought yous said they speak English?”
“We do.” Bulma quickly assured in the woman’s language. “We were just surprised that you came with him. He hadn‘t said anything to us about visitors.”
Bra confused walked over to Vegeta and tugged on his arm. He lifted her up so she could whisper in his ear, “Daddy, how come I don’t know what mommy is saying?”
“It is a different language child. But there is nothing that you need to know.”
“Who is she?”
“Your brother’s new woman.”
“What about Nesa?”
Trunks quickly interrupted in Japanese, “Bra, Nesa is not my wife anymore. Taylor is my girlfriend now. And please, Mom, Dad, and grandma, please do not say anything about Nesa. She doesn’t know about what happened and I don’t want her too, not yet. I will tell her in my own time.”
“Well, Taylor, welcome to Japan, I’m sure it’s completely different from where you’re from.”
“Absolutely, I howeva, wanted to come hea for a long time. I couldn’t believe he wanted me to come home with him.” She smiled warmly and kissed his lips.
“Won’t you come and sit down?”
A voice from the playroom sounded, “Where you going, silly boy?” Out waddled with super speed on his two feet with Nesa quickly following. “Jory, come here, baby.” She swept him up in her arms causing baby giggles from the one year old. Her eyes went around the room, her smile fading when they fell on her ex-husband. “Trunks.”
“Tunks!” Cried the baby in mimic, wiggling uncontrollably until he was finally allowed on his feet again. Bra jumped from her father’s lap to quickly occupy the baby.
Trunks smiled his boyish grin, “Hey, Nesa. How you been?”
“It’s good to see you.”
“You too.” A woman tugged on his sleeve and instantly Nesa’s eyes were on her. Blond, brown hair, three inches shorter then Trunks, but with a modeling type of body. Skinny, sharp strong legs that showed through the slit in her skirt. Her breasts weren’t bigger then hers but still Nesa couldn’t help but think that’s why Trunks was interested in her. It was the same woman she had seen with Trunks on TV.
She spoke a type of English she had only heard in mob movies. That thick accent that no matter where you went, you knew they were from the ‘Big Apple,’ “Please speak English, I wanna undastand.”
“Sorry.” He looked up at her, “Nesa, you know English right?” She nodded, “Taylor doesn’t know Japanese really well so please speak her language.” Out of compliance she agreed. “Taylor I’d like you to meet Nesa. Nesa this is my girlfriend.”
“Girlfriend?” Nesa forced her smile and shook the girl’s hand. Her eyes quickly wanting to concentrate on something else, watching her baby grab a drink from the table, but Trunks grabbed it before she could reach him, and then lifted the small child in his arms.
“Hi, Jory. You look more like your mother every time that I see you. You know that?” He didn’t respond, instead, reached for his lavender locks to stick in his mouth. Trunks laughed setting the child upon his feet again.
The baby ran to his mother, “Ma.” He whimpered.
She lifted her child up, “You hungry baby? Let’s get you something to eat, huh?” Bulma was up and quick to get the high chair from the cabinet setting it on the outskirts of the round dining room table.
The Old Woman gushed, kissing the child’s little cheek and placing a bib around his little neck that read ‘I love Grandma.’ “Who else is ready for my delicious food? I made your favorite Trunks!”
Dinner was quickly served, Bulma paying the fullest attention to her son who spoke of his new interesting life, all in English for the woman beside him who mostly played with Jory and spoke with Nesa. While Vegeta dazed off into space caring nil besides the little girl at his side and the meal in front of him. However his eyes did finally lift when words flowed thickly through his ears. Taylor asked Nesa one interesting question. “So how you know the family? Cousin or somethin?”
Conversation at the table seized, all eyes directly on the two females, who knew next to nothing about the other. Nesa’s eyes flew straight to Trunks. “Cousin?” She whispered. Trunks didn’t respond only looked away. Nesa forced a smile, “Yeah. I’m his cousin. Excuse me.” Nesa quickly stood, grabbing her child caring nil for his baby cries and hurried through the playroom.
“Shit.” Trunks mumbled running a hand through his lavender locks
Taylor leaned over to him, “Honey did I say somethin wrong?
Trunks smiled kissing her lips, “No, baby, but I need to go talk to her for a minute. I’ll explain everything when I get back.” He quickly went after her, leaving Taylor with the nervousness of the eyes of the parents.

“Nesa!” Trunks yelled, “Nesa wait!” He touched her shoulder, backing up when she suddenly swung around.
“Cousin!” She screamed, letting her child go to his feet watching him hurry to the sandbox.
“Nesa, did you not understand me when I said I needed to get away from everything here? How the hell am I to do that if they know what went on here?”
“You didn’t have to tell her the whole damn story, Trunks! But to keep me a fucking secret! It makes me feel like shit!”
“How the hell do you think I felt since I found out my fucking wife had cheated on me!”
“Damn it, Trunks! I paid my due on that! Get the fuck over it!” She closed her eyes, running her hands through her hair, begging herself not to look upon his gorgeous face and see the resentment that was sure to lie in those big sky eyes of his. Nesa could feel his gaze and she obeyed, connecting her sight with his finding his orbs glistening with the pain of her words. They were insensitive and wrong, yet they couldn’t be taken back nor did she want to if she was able. “It’s time to put it behind us, Trunks. I’m sorry. But please, either forgive me, or tell me to go. Because I can’t wait anymore. Everyday, I wake up and I am alone. For the past year, I have been alone. No one has even come near what I felt for you and no one will again. But baby, please, if you don’t want me, and Jory, if you can’t forgive me for what I did, I will understand, but please tell me I have any chance of being with you again.”
It was odd to see tears fall down his white skin so suddenly. “I love you Nesa.”
She closed her eyes, crying to her own self. “I love you.”
“Do you know how many nights I’d wake up and get sick because you weren’t there beside me? So many times I just wanted to come to you. I wanted to be with you. Damn it to hell, I was in love with you.”
“I know.”
“Our life would have been perfect.”
“It could have been. But I messed it up.”
“It wasn’t your fault. I understand now. But now...”
“Now?”
“I loved you then. Back before everything changed. Before I changed. Love was never the question. Only trust. That person will always love the girl that sat outside with me in the rain. The girl that would watch me rest after making love to you.” Her smile grew while a small tear fell. Trunks touched her cheek, his forehead resting upon hers. “The girl that was not afraid of what and whom I was. The girl that I had given my heart to.” He pulled away, calmingly smiling. “But you’re not that girl anymore. And I’m no longer that boy.”
She smiled sadly, tears falling from her eyes, “We went through too much. To go back to the way we were, didn’t we?”
“There’s nothing left, Nesa. The road we built together, isn’t there anymore. No matter how badly we went it back.”
“I’m sorry I hurt you so much.”
“You made me strong. The part of me that fell in love with you, will always love you.”
“But you’re not that part.”
“I’m not that part. Anymore.”
“Awe, how cute.”
Trunks snapped his head finding the human Epeon standing in a green dress, her hand on her hip staring at him with a smirk on her red lips. He growled, baring his teeth quickly standing before his ex-mate. “Get the fuck off my property.”
“Nope. See, I heard you were coming home today, and I thought what kind of celebration we could have and then one just stuck my mind.” A gun suddenly glinted against the sun, the barrel directly pointed at him, “A funeral, would be the perfect kind.”
Trunks couldn’t respond for suddenly his father’s body was twenty feet before him. “Your funeral to be exact.” Vegeta growled violently.
She giggled, her smirk widening. “Oh, but I can’t start this without your lovely wife.”
Bulma came running out from the pool deck, Taylor in tow while Bra stayed up in the kitchen with her grandma, “Yeah, well, I’m here so let’s get this over with. First you can start by putting down your gun. You know better then most that Earth bullets cannot penetrate Sayian skin.”
“Who said I wanted to shoot me a Sayian?” Her gun slowly moved to Bulma, however Vegeta again reappeared before his wife. Epeon still grinned however. “Ever heard of the metal Katchine? That’s off your Sayian space pod, ain’t it?” She fired
