It's time to think about vital parts and values
To start to focus my attention on what makes me happy
I want to share things with those I care about, I've got so much in me
I want to soak up what's pouring out from those who care about me
I'm certain this time
I'll make the change, I'll at least try

“I can’t believe it.” Trunks whispered draped in a cold chair careless of all the people that mumbled around him chatting with one another. Goten shook his head in agreement popping a grape in his mouth while his other hand was occupied stroking Bra lavender mane that rested upon in thigh. Her cries had died down to slow whimpers and now she was finally drifting off to sleep. “I just talked to him a few days ago and he was fine, you know?”
“He wasn’t fine, Trunks. You said so yourself.”
“I know, but…I didn’t think…”
Bulma came up from behind and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. “how are you holding up?” She whispered softly, sniffling. Sunken eyes surrounded by black circles and swollen from crying and she still managed a smile, Bulma gave her son a small kiss on the cheek.
“Momma.” He stood quickly to embrace her and began to cry once again. “I want him to come back.”
“Trunks honey.” She whispered soothingly. “Grandpa wouldn’t want you to be like this. He wants you to be strong, baby.”
The shutters slowly died and he sniffed, “Like Grandma?” He questioned childishly.
Bulma pulled away to turn her gaze to her mother. They both stared at the woman smiling away with a tray of food in her hand giggling with her guests. “Yes, son. Like Grandma.” Bulma smiled and laughed lightly at the silliness of the old woman and Trunks was soon to follow.

Vegeta was outside sitting up against a tree relaxed and content annoyed that he wasn’t allowed in his training room. It wasn’t because Bulma had said he wasn’t allowed, this time he was here out of respect for his mate. He needed to be here for her. Plus the little rug rat and curled up in his lap.
“Daddy?” Vegeta humped. “Why do people die?”
Damn it to hell. Why couldn’t she ask the woman these questions! Vegeta closed his eyes and let his head hit the tree. He always got the weird questions somehow. He needed to come up with an answer. Something that at least sounded good. “Because they get old.”
“Old?” Tears struck her big blue eyes. “But you and mommy are old.” She wailed loudly enough for him to wince. “I don’t want you to die!” Bra screamed choking him in her arms.
“Hush child.” Vegeta ordered in a soft but violent whisper, eyes darting all around at the hundreds of guests and those who stopped and looked in their direction. Bra instantly obeyed. He sighed annoyed gazing down at her glistening eyes and pouty lips. “What I meant was normal humans die because they are old. But your mother, Trunks and I will not die.”
“Ever? But momma’s human?”
“I won’t allow it.”
“Why did you allow Grandpa to die then, daddy?”
He bit his cheek. She certainly was quick wasn’t she? “My powers only protect you three.”
Those blue eyes burned into his, driving through the maze of lies to find any truth to what he says. But yet, he was her daddy. And a big smile was his reward. She hugged him tight. “Daddy, you’re my hero.”

Nobody else answered the door so Trunks was reluctant. But when he felt the ki he got up from his place on the couch and fixed his appearance the best he could. The door opened and he smile lightly, relieved. “Hi.”
“Hi, Taylor. Come on in.”
She entered and went to the couch. “So I had gone went to the airpart then decided against in and since then been at a hotel. Then I heard about youa grandfatha but I didn’t know him very well. So I thought tonight would be okay.”
“It’s okay for you to be here. I actually called your house. When you weren’t there I checked your ki. I’ve known you have been the past week.”
“Oh.” She paused. “I’m sorry about your--”
“I don’t want to think about it.”
“Okay that’s fine.” “How’s youa arm?”
“It’s all better. Sayian healing.”
It was silent for a good five minutes. Taylor’s eyes roaming the room. Before she turned to him. “I’ve missed you harribly.” Trunks gripped her cheek in his palm and leaned in to kiss her lips just lightly.
“You have no idea how much I’ve missed you. I’m sorry that I’ve been so depressed.”
“I think what you did was so honorable.”
Trunks pulled back. “What? Why?”
“Not many people would kill to save their family. So many say they would but if put in a position like you were in, who knows what they would have done. But you didn’t run. You took the buaden onto yourself to save youa family. You’re a hero in my eyes, Trunks. I’m so proud of you.” She hugged him tight.
Trunks sat there unmoving, running the words over and over in his head. She was human. Unbiased in the ways of his family. “You’re not scared of me?”
She giggled and looked into his face. “Why would I be? Honey, you killed an evil woman. That doesn’t mean there’s evil in you.” She maneuvered herself so that she now rested her back against the couch and pulled Trunks’ head down to her lap. She gently caressed his hair.
Trunks stared out for a few minutes, concentrating only upon the woman holding him, comforting the best she could. “I never explained to you what happened between Nesa and me.”
“You don’t need to. I kind of got the whole story from your mother.” She giggled.
Trunks smiled. “Will you marry me?”
Her own smile fell. “What?”
He sat up to gaze at her face and laughed at the outrage. He took her hands and kissed their palms. “Will you marry me?”
She blinked several type before standing. “Are you serious?”
“Of course.”
“Are you sure?”
“Taylor.” He grasped her hand to yank her down in his lap. “Just say yes.”
A smile finally spread on her lips. “Yes.”

Vegeta sat on the couch staring out the glass, feeling the eyes of Dr. Nine, not knowing if he was willing or ready to release this story. It was the last raping that he committed since he met Bulma. A five year span in between. But he wanted to get rid of it, and so, he did. “Planet Gernak. These creatures have yellow skin, bald in every place, dots of power and rank on their back. No telling a man from a woman beside that of eye color. Frieza was keeping this planet intact. He said he liked the way it smelled. It smelt no different from all the others destroyed. Anyway. My two guards and I were given a break so we went out to the rural area and sparred for the better half of our time till we got hungry. On our walk back since we were too tired to fly we came upon a chalet in the vastness of no where. Food was cooking inside. My men went in found a pregnant woman and a daughter, young and virgin. Twelve I would say. I was first to desecrate them both, being Prince and all, I get the first. My appetite was spoiled to say the least. While I was cleaning myself up and my men took their turn the father came back and walked in. He did nothing but fall to his knees as his little girl cried out for him and his mate screamed about her unborn brat. Rage piled up and he grabbed a chair and started beating my men. I grabbed him.” Vegeta stalled to stand, holding his arm protectively. He gazed out the window. “And I made him watch.” Vegeta began to pace. “Afterwards, we let them live for the food but I proceeded out though as I left the father grabbed my arm. And said to me. ‘When this war is over, we at least will still be able to explain to our children everything we did was for our pride and for our honor.’”
Vegeta sat down on the couch once again and for five minutes nothing was said. Dr. Nine tried to come up with something but for some reason he felt that Vegeta wasn’t quite done yet. “My daughter called me a hero.”

“Whatever she said,” Bulma whispered to her husband, pouring him his water. “has finally gotten through.” She sat down in the lawn chair, stretching her naked legs. It was suppose to be a welcome home party for Trunks, only a few weeks later, however since the news was dropped on them so suddenly it was now a engagement party with only the closest of people present.
Trunks now swam with a grin, splashing the squealing Jory who floated happily in his protective tube. Nesa had only her legs in the water, sitting on the sidelines, holding the floating device near her to keep him not scared. Taylor was surprisingly sitting next to Nesa talking with a smile. What an odd sight to see.
Bra had popped up on her father’s lap. It was easy to see that Bra had at last found her memory and Vegeta, even though he showed annoyance, was relieved that his little girl was back to her normal, irradiating ways.
“Hey, Bra!” Trunks yelled from the pool, at the same moment pulling his unexpected fiance into the water.
Bulma was quick however to grab the kid when she flew past. “No, It’s time for lunch."
"Nesa." The voice was undetectable. And it received everyone's attention. Bulma turned to Vegeta who was watching Trunks. The fun all stalled in the pool, only Jory making any disturbance by splashing wildly to his mother. Trunks slowly lifted his body out of the pool flying to the edge were Nesa now stood, protecting her. But the baby cried in anger and Nesa was quick to lift him up dripping wet in her arms.
"Annika." Trunks swung his view to her. Her eyes wide with worry and surprise. "What are you doing here?" The baby in her arms slid down her powerless body and waddled over to the sandbox.
Trunks turned again to the young man that watched the baby. Annika stuttered, "He...He. walks."
"Leave." Nesa snapped running to grab her child brutally and he cried in dismay. She was heading for the door but was stalled by the mysterious man.
"Nesa. Please."
She swiftly turned, "Please what, Annika? Please let me see the child that I denied? Please give me a second chance because I was not man enough to handle a little difficulty in my life?"
"Nesa. I was wrong. I know."
"You know. That's why you left."
"Nesa. I was wrong. I know."
"You’re right. You were wrong. It’s too late now.”
Annika ran to stop her from entering the house only to be blocked by the blue haired Prince. But his eyes paid no attention to this obvious jealous man. “It’s never too late. I’m his father, Nesa. I want to be his father.”
Nesa allowed the kid to get out of her arms to run to Bulma while she stomped over to him. “Annika, you know nothing about fatherhood-”
“You’re right. I don’t. My father ditched me when I was born. That’s why I got scared. I didn’t plan on becoming a father. Especially a father like mine.”
“Oh, and I had scheduled to get pregnant?”
“None of this matters, Nesa. We both screwed up.”
“Why come now? Why wait almost two years?”
“I needed time to grow up. I know it wasn’t fair to you. But I thought, you were better off-”
“Better off!!”
“Nesa! You got married to the richest man in the world! He could take care of you! He would have taken better care of you then I ever could.”
“I can’t forgive you, Annika. You turned me away like a fucking whore.”
“Nesa. I know I was awful to you. I was scared. But please don’t think I felt entirely nothing when you walked out of my life. And whenI heard that you had told the world my baby was his, it killed me! I was outside of the hospital that whole damn day you were in labor. They wouldn’t let anyone in without an emergency. I wasn’t about to chase after you when I knew I couldn’t match up against him.” Her arms were crossed and tears were falling down her face. Trunks kept his eyes glued to the human as he side stepped him and went closer to Nesa. Trunks, with his hands clenched allowed it. “So I tried for the past year and a half to be even half the man he is. I have money now, I have a house, I have everything that could ever be wanted in my life except that of you and my son.” His hands grasped hers from her chest, he gazed down at her with glistening eyes. “Forgive me. Make my life complete. You don’t have to love me or marry me, but just let me love you and our son and my life will be whole.”
Her head dropped, hair falling down. “You’re right about one thing.” She gazed up. “I don’t love you.” Annika nodded feeling defeat and stepped back, dropping their hands. “But.” A smiled teased her trembling lips, “We can try to make us a family.”
