Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ Fire and Ice ❯ Midnight Madness ( Chapter 1 )

Kiss and kill me sweetly
come and drive me home
drag the miles in me
I am yours alone
inside where it's warm
wrap myself in you
outside where I'm torn
fight myself in two
in two
into
you
He tossed and turned for hours. The sheets he lay on were twisted,
making his bed look unruly and unkempt. He had never felt so lost, yet
so discovered when he sought the blue of her eyes.
It was three in the morning and Bulma was still awake. "Ugh, what is
it with me these days!"
She paced her room in her silky black underwear, tapping her fingers
on her flat, luminous tummy. She had been having a nagging crave for
something. Turning on some light chillout music, she lit up a thin
cigarette and blew circles into the ceiling. No, she thought, this
isn't what I want.
"Where the hell did these come from anyway?" She quit smoking months
ago. Must have been one of Yamucha's packs... she shook her head and
laughed lightly in the moonlight that streamed in from her balcony.
Yamucha... he lost the best thing he never really had. Being single
feels so weird... I haven't thought about what I wanted for a really
long time... mmm... what I want...
Turning down her music, she pressed her ear to the wall that separated
her from Desire himself.
Vegeta heard a low, sultry laugh come from the adjoining room. His
heart raced, and a lump began to form in his throat. She was awake. At
that rate, he would never get to sleep. He lusted over her day and
night, this was killing him slowly. He got up, walked over to the wall
that separated them, and lay his head against its cool smoothness.
They stood there listening for traces of the other, not knowing that
they shared a common want, a common need. Like Fire and Ice, they
waited for a spine tingling sigh, a heartbeat, fleeting words from
dreaming. Night was fast to fade, and Day would soon come to chase the
magic away.
Bulma finally woke up at around lunch time the following morning, and
she was surprised he had let her sleep in that late. Usually the
`beast" would come barging in, demanding food. When she really thought
about it, this was the first time she had pretty decent rest. With the
new wing of Capsule Corp. opening up the following week, things were
getting busy. Workers were everywhere, and she was thankful that the
gravity room kept him hidden during the day. Chances are he would get
annoyed at one of them and Kami knows what he would do to the poor
thing.
"Mama!" she cried into her intercom. "How did Vegeta get his food this
morning?!"
"I don't know Bulma baby! Tee hee, he must have made it himself! Tee
hee!" She didn't know whether to take her slightly (AN: ok, EXTREMELY)
ditzy mother's reply seriously or not.
Confused, and in dire need of caffeine, she trudged out of bed and
headed into the bathroom for a hot shower.
