A/N: I know I said I wasn't going to continue, but oh well... (sigh)

It had almost been three years... three years since she left us... and I still miss her real bad.... everyone seems to have forgotten about her... it pisses me off to no end. My dad pretends like he doesn't care, but I know damn well he does... I could hear him coming into my room every night to check up on me... that pisses me off too. I just wish I could... see her again.... does this make me weak?? Am i weak for feeling this??

Trunks looked up from his laptop, and met his father's forlorn eyes. His eyebrows were perched more than before.

"What's wrong dad?" he murmured, shutting off his laptop.

"I got another call from the principal." Vegeta murmured dully.

Trunks lifted an eyebrow. "Oh, is that it?? Whatever... it's not like I give a damn."

"It seems you beat the crap out of one of your classmates again."

"Shit happens." Trunks replied smartly.

"He seemed really beat up... with three broken ribs. I'm impressed, but it's still wrong."

"Like I said... shit happens." Trunks said, returning to his laptop.

Vegeta's face was beginning to change into an emotion he never really saw there.

"You're only thirteen years old, since when did you start cursing so much??"

"Well... you're a living example." Trunks murmured, fingers dashing back and forth on the keyboard rapidly.

"Is that so... then I should watch my language around you."

"Pathetic.... " Trunks laughed cruelly.

"Did he say anything to get you mad??"

Trunks lifted his eyes to meet his gaze. "I don't want to talk about it." He responded quickly, staring at the screen.

"He did... didn't he?"

His chest was beginning to hurt... throat dry. He didn't respond.

"I hate this as much as you do, now... tell me what happened." Vegeta said calmly as he could.

"Nothing happened, I just felt like beating something up," came Trunks shaky response.

"Okay... then what??" Vegeta pressed on.

His fists began to shake uncontrollably. "Like I said... that's what happened... nothing more... I was... how do you say... bored." Trunks said with a smirk.

"Boredom can be deadly."

"But thrilling altogether."

They stayed quiet for a moment, and Vegeta's patience was getting the better of him. All this small talk was giving him a damn headache. "Spit it out already, Trunks... it's driving me insane!!"

Trunks leapt out of his bead, his eyes already red from crying so much. Vegeta was slightly taken aback.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO!!!?? HE CALLED MY MOM A FUCKING WHORE!!! I WAS NOT JUST GONNA STAND THERE AND LET HIM TALK SHIT ABOUT MY MOM!! THERE!! IS THAT YOU WANTED TO HEAR!???"

Vegeta watched his son crumble right in front of him. He didn't say a word.

"Why?? Why father?? Why did it happen to me?? To us?? To her?? My future self didn't have a father... and now... I don’t have a mother??? WHAT THE FUCK DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS???"

The breeze swept in from the opened window, playing around their hair. The cold breeze chilled them to the bone, and Trunks wrapped his arms around his shivering frame. The feeling was so familiar. So warm yet... so fragile. Vegeta must have felt it too, because his eyes were wide open in shock. Trunks narrowed his eyes, and shut off his laptop.

"She shoes up in my dreams sometimes." Trunks answered truthfully, and staring at the ground.

Vegeta didn't meet his gaze either. He just stared at a tiny spot on the carpet. "In my dreams too..."

"I was wrong then." Trunks murmured. "You haven't forgotten about... mom."

"What makes you think that??"

"I don't know... you act like... nothing happened... it... it... IT PISSES ME OFF!!!"

Vegeta shook his head, and took a seat next to Trunks. "Just because I act a certain way, doesn't mean I've... forgotten..."

Trunks sat next to his father, wiping his eyes.

"You should try doing it sometime... forget... I'm--"

"It's not so easy father." Trunks hissed. "It's not so easy to watch your mother crumble right in front of you... you weren't there when it happened... you don't know what it was like." Trunks shivered, remembering the way Bulma had the attack.

Vegeta just grasped his shoulder firmly, as he stood up. "Try it sometime."

Trunks was left alone with his thoughts.

Trunks waked back into his classroom, and he was beginning to feel guilty when all the kids hid under their chairs. It felt good to have others fear him... but at the same time... it made him feel like a loner.

"...Trunks?"

He turned around. and saw a girl sitting next to him.

"Whaddayawant??"

She flinched. "I heard what happened yesterday. I heard what he said--"

"It's none of your business, and I don't need your pity." he spat.

"I know but... I just wanted to say that... he deserved it."

Trunks blinked in utter confusion. "Uh... what??"

"You heard me!! That bastard had no right for calling your mom a you know what!!!"

Trunks chuckled nervously. "Umm... Thanks... I guess..."

"I'm with you a hundred percent!!!"

The bell rang for dismissal, and Trunks ran out with the other students. He looked both sides, and decided he was going to walk home, instead of riding in the limousine. Quickly, he hid behind a bush, and took the long way home.

There, he busied himself by window shopping, and making a list in his mind of what to buy the next day. He was nearing the end of the block, when he encountered a strange looking store. He peered inside the glass, and saw a big sign with the word ANTIQUES flashing with neon lights. Boring, he thought, but something inside of that store was luring him in. Like an invisible for of some kind. His curiosity got the better of him, and he walked in, moving slowly because all the things in the store looked delicate, and old.

He saw a ripped up canvas, with a strange drawing, and a lamp with native scribbling. This store reminded him of his grandmother. She had a lot of things like this locked up in the attic. She wondered why she ever bothered buying the stuff if she was never going to use it.

He shrugged, and was already heading out, when a woman, no older than his mother stopped him. His intuition told him that this lady was a suspicious character. He kept his guard on.

"May I help you??"

Trunks shook his head. "I was just... looking around."

"Were you looking for something in particular??'

"No, I was... just looking around." Trunks repeated.

She closed her eyes, and smiled. "No... you were looking for something... and you will find it here."

Trunks gritted his teeth. "Listen you old hag!! I didn't come here to buy anything!! I just came here to look around!!!"

He expected the woman to yell back, but she remained passive, that strange smile still playing around her lips. "You are mistaken... I know what you're after... and I can give it to you."

Trunks stared at her in wonder. "What do you mean??"

Without warning him, she grabbed his hand, and traced his palm with her fingers. "Yes... I can see it... and yes... I was right... I could see her face clearly... I see darkness surrounding you."

"I am now officially freaked out." Trunks whispered.

She let go of his hand, smiling. "Do not be frightened young one. I could help you... I could help you out of this misery..."

"How?? How could you do that??" Trunks asked.

"It is... your mother isn't it??" She asked, walking behind the counter. Trunks felt his jaw drop.

"Am I right??" She asked, raising her voice, since she was looking for something behind the shelves.

"Y-yes. but... how did you--"

"My inner eye does not lie, young one." She interrupted, advancing him with a strange necklace in her hand. Trunks stared at it curiously. Yes... this was it... this thing was the reason why he was here in the first place. It was... it was calling out for him. She led it in his face, so that he could stare into the blood red ruby.

"This has been passed down to me, from generation to generation. My mother gave it to me when she passed away. She told me the secrets of this pendant. But it scared me half to wits. I could no longer keep it in my store. So I want you... to have it." She placed it in his open palm, and Trunks stared at it curiously.

"What does... it do??

There was a pained expression in her face as she explained. "It is a curse, young one."

"Curse??"

"It brings back the life of a deceased one. But... it comes with a heavy price."

His heart raced in his chest. Did this mean that he could... he could....

"Soon the body will ache... and desire for human flesh..."

Trunks eyes began to fill with tears.

"And the pain is so immense, they want it to end, but this suffering... is immortal."

"I could... bring my mother... back to life."

"With heavy consequences." She replied with a heavy sigh.

"I... uh... I gotta go!!!" Trunks lifted his bag over his shoulder, and ran out of the store before she changed her mind. She just stared at him with great sadness, and lifted down her collar; a strange insignia etched into her skin.

"Young one... the worst is yet to come...."

As soon as he arrived, he shut off all the lights in his room, holding the pendant in his hand. He was so nervous, and thrilled, he bit his lip so hard, he drew blood. He closed his eyes, thinking of what he desired the most, and Bulma appeared in his vision of mind.

A bright light surrounded him, and something began to materialize right before him, but the light was so bright, he couldn't see a thing.

There was a loud humming noise coming from the necklace, and when the body was finished materializing, the pendant disappeared from his hand. He stared at his empty, sweat hands, and then at the naked, sleeping figure on the floor. His heart was racing, fast enough to just jump out of his chest, just enough to run off on it’s own accord.

He couldn't believe his eyes.

There in flesh and blood... was his mother.... reborn...

Her sleeping figure began to wake up, and she lifted herself off the ground, rubbing her eyes. Trunks look away, too ashamed to stare at his mothers nakedness.

Finally, she spoke. "Where... where am I??" Her eyes scanned the room.

Trunks felt so overwhelmed, tears began to fall freely down his cheeks. "Mom... is that... is that really you???" Mom!!!"

She frowned. "Where am I?? Who are you??? Why am I in this place??!!" She spat.

Trunks became seriously worried when she grabbed him by the shoulders, and shook him violently. He tried to shrug her off, but for a strange reason, her strength had increased tenfold.

She began to weep as she shook him, tears of blood flowing from her eyes. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!!?? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO ME??!!"

Trunks eyes were as wide as saucers. "Mom... you're scaring me." he cried.

"YOU MADE MY LIFE A LIVING HELL!!! WHY??!! WHY??!!"

Trunks just shook his head. "Mom... please... calm down mom....please." He wept.

What have I done?? WHAT HAVE I DONE??!!
