(A/N)Well first of all thanks to all of you who reviewed. I love your comments. Keep them coming and more chapters will follow. You asked me how old is Gohan? Well in this he is 20. You also asked where is Piccolo? Well Piccolo is with them and has no problem with the situation because he didn't know Gohan has a thing for 18. Also if you have any questions just ask I will be happy to answer them.

As soon as 18 stopped shivering Gohan placed her down gently. 18 glared at him and winced when the sand rubbed into her wounds.

"I was really hurting you?" Gohan asks.

Gohan reaches out to touch her to pick her up to look but she shrunk away from him like a scared child.

"18 I'm sorry I love you that's why I did it." Gohan says gently reaching for her again.

18 winces and pulls back against the tree.

"18 I wont hurt you." Gohan says gently.

"Where have I heard that before?" 18 mocks him but pulls even further away when he tries to reach for her.

18 could not go any further back so Gohan reached for her again. 18 pressed against the tree expecting him to grope her. Instead he held her forward while inspecting her back.

"18 I'm sorry I dint mean to hurt you its just that you're so perfect and you made me mad and you turned on my mating instincts." Gohan says apologetically.

"Now you see why I made the choice that I did?" 18 asks.

"18 please forgive me I love you." Gohan pleads.

"Why you raped me twice?" 18 says angrily pulling away from him causing her back to scream in pain.

"18 please I tried to stop I told you that but we sayains cant control our mating instincts we cant ignore them." Gohan says somberly.

18 burst into tears and started to hit him to get rid of all her rage against him and everyone who hurt her.

Gohan still in super mode could barely feel it occasionally she made him grunt but he let her vent her rage. When she was too tired to continue she wept into her hands. Gohan pulled her into a hug not a restraining one but a warm comforting hug. 18 wept against his chest and soon cried herself to sleep. Gohan took out a capsule and threw it a few feet away. It opened into a house fit for a family or for two. Gohan picked her up, 18 grunted because of her back but Gohan whispered to her soothingly. 18 soon quieted down and fell into her deep sleep. Gohan carried her to her room and set a blanket and pillow on the floor inches away from the bed incase she woke up crying. But before he lay down to sleep he went to the kitchen to call his home for his father. He told him that he was going to stay out with 18 till he won her. He also told him to tell the others they were fine and not to search them out.

After he hung up he went to the bathroom to retrieve a sensu bean. Gohan walked back up the stairs and made her swallow it. 18 didn't awaken so Gohan lay down next to her on the floor. A few hours later 18 awoke to see the moon shining through the skylight. Gohan was snoring gently on the floor so 18 decided to sneak past him. 18 tip toed past him and downstairs to the door she opened it quietly as not to awaken him. 18 walked out to the cool night air mixed with the smell of the lake. 18 sat down in front of the water and watched it lap at the diamond white sand.

A few hours later Gohan awoke to the sun shining through the windows. Gohan sat up and noticed that 18 was gone.

Gohan hurriedly raced down the stairs to the door, which he flung open. Gohan spotted her asleep curled up into a tight ball with the waves lapping at her feet. The water was frigid and Gohan quickly scooped her up and brought her inside. Some how the water had gotten her back wet and she was as cold as the water. Gohan rushed her to the bathroom and undressed her. Gohan ran the hot water and placed her in the warm tub. 18 awoke with a start and sat up, almost hitting Gohan in the head with her forehead.

"18 don't worry you were freezing so I had to warm you up before you got hypothermia." Gohan says.

"Fool don't you remember I'm a cyborg I cant feel cold nor warmth." 18 reminds him covering her bare breasts.

"Well I knew that but I didn't know you couldn't get hypothermia." Gohan says relieved.

"Well I cant so you can leave now so I can at least take a bath and then get dressed" 18 says annoyed.

Gohan leaves and shuts the door behind him. 18 cleans herself off and walks out wrapped in a towel. 18 grabs a black tube top and a black pair of jean shorts. 18 walks back to the bathroom and changes. Gohan waits for her to come back out so he can explain they are staying out in this spot for a while. 18 returns and grabs her brush and looks in the mirror. Gohan clears his throat and starts to explain.

"18 were staying here for awhile till we can return without any problems. Plus I want to give you a break from all the others." Gohan says.

"You call living with a rapist a break?" 18 asks questioningly.

"18 I told you that was not my fault." Gohan says.

As soon as the words left his mouth he regretted it.

18 placed her brush down took a deep breath and whirled around to face him.

"Oh so I guess that makes it my fault!" 18 screams.

"No it was my fault but I told you why and I told you I was sorry." Gohan says.

"I don't care about your pitiful apologies. You took something no the only thing I had left. The only thing I kept from my past and from Dr. Gero." 18 screams angrily.

"18 I'm so sorry you know I love you I never meant to hurt you." Gohan says sadly.

"I never meant to hurt anyone either but that doesn't mean I didn't kill half the population of this planet." 18 says.

Gohan is silent he didn't know what to say to this. He knew he shouldn't use his instincts as an excuse but it was the truth.

"18 please forgive me I know what I did was wrong." Gohan says.

"Why should I?" 18 asks.

"Because I forgave you." Gohan says.

"Fine I forgive you for the first offense but not for the second." 18 says indignantly.

"18 what do I have to do to make it up to you?' Gohan asks.

"There is nothing you can do this is not a forgive and forget situation. You forgave me because in the end you got all you lost back." 18 says coldly.

"18 please I will do any thing you ask me to." Gohan says hopefully.

"Leave me alone that's what you can do. Let me go and forget all about me." 18 says.

"I can't do that I love you and nothing will change that. 18 don't you understand that this is true love? We could be happy for the rest of our lives if you forgave me and let me love you. If only you would forgive me and return my love we could be eternally happy." Gohan says.

"No I will not, I can not, I told you I cant love anyone I'm a cyborg I am not programmed with love." 18 says coolly.

"Your not programmed to laugh or cry but you do." Gohan points out.

"So that's nothing to do with love." 18 says hastily.

"All I'm saying is that you don't have to be programmed to love to actually love someone it comes naturally. Besides I don't think Dr. Gero could have gotten rid of your ability to love." Gohan says.

"What do you know?" 18 asks angrily.

"A lot." Gohan says.

"You don't know anything you just think you do, unless you have the schematics to prove it leave well enough alone." 18 says and ends the conversation.

18 goes to walk out the door but Gohan stops her.

"Where are you going?" Gohan asks.

"To sit outside and watch the lake." 18 says.

"I'll have to go with you." Gohan says.

"Why?" 18 asks annoyed.

"To make sure you don't try and run away." Gohan says.

"Fine but stay out of my sight." 18 says.

Gohan agrees and follows her outside he takes off into the air to keep an eye on her while being away from her. 18 sits down on the shore again and gazes out across the water. 18 is in deep thought she is thinking about her brother and how he was always in love with the sea or any body of water. Of course this was before but then again why chose to drive across an ocean. 18 then thought how could she remember their childhood? That memory had been erased or blocked. Gohan watched as her face went from calm to sad to angry to confused. He of course had no idea of what she was thinking. 18 stood up and looked into the water. 18 levitated and few inches off the ground then dove into the water.

I guess she had been wrong about not being able to feel cold. The icy water burned her skin but she kept swimming to the bottom of the lake. 18 didn't need to breathe so she didn't worry about that. 18 kept searching the bottom of the lake for what she was looking for. Gohan was watching anxiously for her to resurface. A few minutes later 18 resurfaced shivering with cold but had something tucked under her shirt.

"18 what do you think you were doing?" Gohan shouts angrily.

"I was searching for something." 18 says the shivering affecting her speech.

"Can't feel cold huh." Gohan mocks her earlier statement.

"Shut up!" 18 snaps angrily.

"Gohan was about to say more when 18 sneezed loudly.

"18 look what you did you got yourself a cold." Gohan says irritably.

"A what?" 18 asks.

"A cold it means your going to be sick for a few days. That means your going to feel like you lost a battle and have the damage to prove it." Gohan says.

"Well "achoo" I don't "achoo" fell that bad." 18 says.

"We better get you warmed up before you get sicker." Gohan says.

"Not another bath." 18 whines.

"Fine how about a hot tub? But you have to share." Gohan suggests.

"Fine but no funny stuff." 18 warns.

18 walks to her room and changes into her gold bikini.

"You look nice in that." Gohan comments.

"To you I suppose I would." 18 says.

"Ouch" Gohan flinches at the assault.

"How did all my clothes get here?" 18 asks.

"Well before I left I decided to get them." Gohan says.

"Oh ok." 18 says about to step into the hot tub on the porch.

"18 I wouldn't go in to fast." Gohan warns but too late.

"Wow that hurts." 18 shouts.

"I tried to warn you." Gohan says.

After a few minutes 18 relaxes and Gohan watches her from the other side of the hot tub.

"This is nice." 18 says totally relaxed and content.

"Yeah I love hot tub they soothe every mussel." Gohan says sighing.

18 had a seat where you could sit there and lay down with your arms resting on the sides.

"You do this often?" 18 asks.

"Yeah, but I'd say you got the best seat." Gohan says.

"Do you want to switch?" 18 asks.

"No, I'm glad you're not sneezing anymore." Gohan says.

"Me to I didn't like it." 18 says.

"Well it's a good thing you didn't catch cold you'd be miserable." Gohan says.

"Like I'm not already?" 18 asks.

"I already told you I can't help without your permission." Gohan says sadly.

"I know what you mean I don't want sex." 18 says.

"I know and that's not what I meant." Gohan says.

"And I don't want love." 18 says.

"Not to change the subject but what did you get from the bottom of the lake?" Gohan asks.

"I will show it to you later because I cant name it I don't know what it is." 18 replies.

"Wow you mean with your extensive files you can't name something?" Gohan says.

"Listen hot shot you better shut up before I walk out of here." 18 growls.

"I didn't mean it as an insult or anything." Gohan says apologetically.

18 didn't answer she just turned away and laid her head down on her arm.

Gohan sighed and sat down next to her. 18 stiffened but did not turn around or move away.

"Listen 18 I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you angry or defensive." Gohan says.

"Leave me alone Gohan." 18 says angrily.

"18 what's wrong? I know it's not just what I said. Something else is bothering you." Gohan says.

18 glares at him but he cant see it with her facing the other way.

"Like I said leave me alone." 18 growls.

"You know I can't do that." Gohan says.

"Why you afraid I'm gonna run away?" 18 asks mockingly.

"No, friends don't leave each other alone when they need help." Gohan says.

"Well I don't see the problem. I'm not your friend and your certainly not mine." 18 says.

"18 not this again. You know I'm sorry." Gohan complains.
