Heart And Soul of the Saiyain Prince
There once was a prince who was very young and very energetic. He was the prince of a powerful race of warriors, the Saiyains. Prince Vegeta was not alone because he had a twin sister. The only thing he openly cared about was her. They were each total opposites but together they were the perfect warrior. She was his heart and soul while he was her strength and fighting spirit. This is not the story of Prince Vegeta because that has been told. This is the story of his heart and soul, his twin sister, Princess Regina.
Chapter Eight:
Training seemed unnecessary for Regina. All of a sudden she seemed more calm, confident and reserved. Piccolo assumed the bond made her more stable, kind of like Vegeta. So their training sessions were not anything like training seen before.
"Piccolo, will you please calm down?" Regina asked panting.
Piccolo squirmed and whined. "I don't want to wear this."
"But Bulma is having a dinner party and I want you there as my date." Regina straightened his tie.
Piccolo looked down at the white shirt and black slacks. "Why am I doing this?"
"Because you love me." Regina finally wrestled the dinner jacket on Piccolo. "This green tie brings out your… uh… skin." She giggled.
"Funny." Piccolo rolled his eyes and tugged at the tie.
Regina slapped his hand away and fixed it again. "Will you stop that?"
"I don't want to go to this thing." Piccolo snarled at her.
"I will be all dolled up and afterwards I promise you can shred all the clothing off both our bodies."
Piccolo smiled, just with the thought. "Alright, but I'm not dancing."
"We'll see about that" Regina chuckled. "Now, I have to go get my hair and makeup done with Bulma. Behave and you better look just as good when I come back."
Piccolo grumbled and Regina knew he had caved so she went downstairs to find Bulma. Bulma was already waiting for her the dresses in hand.
"Finally! Even Vegeta doesn't take that long to dress." Bulma said as she led Regina to the car.
"Well, it's Piccolo's first time. We have to give him a little break."
"Does he know Gohan is going to be there?"
"Um… well… no." Regina got in the car.
"You can't be serious. What were you thinking?"
"Well, Gohan is bringing his new girlfriend and it has been like three months."
"Which brings me to… when are you two going to get married?"
"That is a human ritual." Regina made a disgusted face.
"Well, you are on Earth… what's the saying? When in Rome do what the Romans do." Bulma chuckled.
They arrived at the boutique and spent a few hours getting the works done.
"Piccolo will truly drop dead when he sees you." Bulma put her hand on Regina's shoulder. "If we could just do something with that tail…"
Regina stroked her tail. "Don't you dare."
"Do you really like it that much?" Bulma sighed.
"Yes and Piccolo does too." Regina wrapped her tail under her dress and around her leg. "See no problem."
The girls returned back to Capsule Corporation to pick up their dates. Piccolo and Vegeta both looked shocked at Regina.
Regina was wearing a short red dress with no sleeves. She had her hair up with two dark strands framing her face. Her lips were crimson along with her long nails. And on her left hands middle finger she wore the ring Piccolo gave her two months ago, a simple silver band with a ruby embedded in it.
"You… look… nice." Piccolo managed to fumble out.
Regina grabbed his tie and straightened it again. "I have a feeling I am going to be doing this a lot."
Vegeta smirked and looked at Bulma. "Wonderful work. She is starting to look like a princess."
Bulma beamed, she was wearing a navy blue dress of the same style as Regina. "Why thank you!"
"You on the other hand-" Vegeta chuckled as Bulma threw her purse at him.
"There you go, purse-boy." Bulma glared icily at Vegeta.
"Would you like me to fry it?" Vegeta hung the purse up by one finger and aimed a ki blast at it.
Bulma snatched it back. "Just get in the car."
Vegeta shrugged and sat in the front seat of the car.
Piccolo leaned in to kiss Regina but Bulma whacks him with her purse.
"You'll mess up her makeup, now get in the car."
Piccolo growled but Regina ran her fingers down his arm to soothe him into the car.
"I forgot to tell you Gohan was going to be at the party."
Piccolo's eyes widened to an unimaginable size. "You forgot to tell me?" He roared. "Very convenient."
"He has a girlfriend so he must be over our ordeal."
"Who else is going to be at this dinner party?"
Vegeta looked back at Piccolo. "Who said this was a dinner party? It is a stupid get together that the woman threw together with Kakarott's wife."
"Regina?" Piccolo glared at Regina who had her purse between him and her.
"I'm sorry Piccolo but I thought it was the only way to get you there. Oh and thanks Geta."
"We're here anyways." Bulma stopped the car.
Piccolo got out of the car and Regina whispered in his ear. "If you are good and keep the suit on, I promise I'll reward you tonight."
Piccolo blushed violet on his cheeks and ears. "And how will you reward me?"
"I know what you like, Piccolo." Regina nudged him making him go even more violet and then she tweaked his antenna just to get a rise out of him.
"Alright. Fine." Piccolo tried to focus to conceal his blush and a stirring in his groin.
"So, my lovely green one, shall we enter?" Regina wrapped her arm around Piccolo's.
"You are going to make me look like a fool."
Vegeta chuckled. "Everyone will be jealous of you, Namek. They will not think you a fool, just a lucky bastard."
Bulma hit Vegeta on the back of the head. "Luckily I had Chi-chi take Trunks, with that lousy mouth of yours."
Regina opened the door to the building they rented out. "Wow." Regina took a moment to take in the beautiful chandelier and elegant decorations.
Meanwhile almost everyone stopped dead and looked to the door. Shocked by the woman hanging on Piccolo and Piccolo wearing a suit, everyone's eyes bugged out. No one was told about Regina. The only ones who knew she existed was Gohan, Trunks, Goten, Chi-chi, Goku and Dende. Dende wasn't able to make it, due to other matters of guarding the Earth.
The crickets chirped and all eyes stayed glued to Piccolo and Regina. Piccolo calmly entered trying to ignore the staring. Regina giggled and Piccolo glared at her.
"What is so funny?"
Regina shook her head and Goku finally made the first move.
"Hey, Regina!" Goku offered her a plate of food as he picked from it. With his mouth full, he said, "It's really good."
"Thank you, Kakarott, but no." Regina continued to be glued on Piccolo's arm.
Vegeta laughed. "No need to be polite to third-class bakas or their brats."
Regina's eyes locked with Gohan's and she looked at his date, Videl. She was very pretty with her short black hair.
Piccolo noticed Videl, as well. Finally he got tried of the staring and silence.
Regina sensed this so she let go of him and chuckling she said, "I am Princess Regina, Vegeta's twin sister! I got here a few months ago. Don't mind Piccolo. He lost a fight with me so I made him come as my date."
Piccolo snarled. "What are you doing? Are you a compulsive liar or what?"
Everyone then shrugged and went back to their mingling.
"It worked didn't it?" Regina took his hand.
"I guess so."
The party went on and Regina met everyone. Yamcha and Master Roshi were especially fond of Regina but Regina made it clear that she could be just as bad as her twin, if not worse. Piccolo somehow escaped from Regina's iron grasp and went outside.
"Piccolo."
Piccolo whipped around to see Gohan looking at him solemnly. "Gohan… what's wrong?"
Gohan bit his lip. "I just wanted to apologize. It wasn't worth screwing up our friendship."
"Our friendship isn't screwed up, Gohan."
"I almost killed you, Piccolo." The teenager threw his arms around his sensei and hugged him. "I missed you."
Piccolo returned the gesture. "I missed you, too, kid."
"Isn't that sweet!" Regina squealed hugging the two who were still locked in an embrace.
"Regina." Piccolo shook his head with a smile on his face.
Gohan broke from the embrace. "I'm sorry, Miss Regina. Oh! I better get to Videl." Gohan ran back inside.
Regina nudged Piccolo. "See! Aren't you glad I brought you here?"
Piccolo nodded.
"Oh and by the way, Vegeta just told everyone we were getting married."
Piccolo's jaw dropped. "He did what?!?!"
Regina smiled. "So I am assuming you want to escape the questioning phase and go straight to the reward."
Piccolo grabbed Regina in his arms. "You are going to be the death of me."
"Tell me about it."
Piccolo took to the air. "I definitely don't want to stay."
"Then what do you want to do?"
Piccolo flew to his cave. "You know what I want."
"Then come and get it." Regina ran into the cave with Piccolo following her.
A single piece of green material came flying out of the cave, Piccolo's tie.
