"Today, I will teach you the way of the wind." Spyre sat on one of the higher pillars of the temple with his legs crossed. Goten was standing or trying to at least to balance on the highest and thinnest pillar of the temple.

"As I'm sure you can feel from up there the wind it gentle and even the slightest gust can bring down the strongest of fighters. I want you to see yourself as that wind. Swing your sword as if it were part of your massive gusts." Spyre closed his eyes and left Goten to his own devices. Goten could hardly balance on the pillar without falling let along swing his sword. Goten finally found his balance. He had one of his feet gently placed on his calf and the other supported most if not all of his weight. Goten drew his sword with a slow gentle `swwwinghh' of it's blade. He presented the sword in front of him and glared at the slender katchin blade.

"Loosen your muscles. Let them bend with the wind." Spyre commanded. Goten tried to loosen them, his grip on his sword was very loose and felt like his sword could slip through his fingers like water.

"Swing with the wind. Envision yourself surrounded by opponents. They all surround you and are ready to kill. Use the wind to slaughter them." Goten swung his sword slowly through the air going with the current of the wind. He was being careful not to drop it for then he would have to go get it. Sure he could just fly down and get it, but he didn't want to surprise his master too much.

"Faster. Gain speed with each stroke." Goten swung his sword faster this time he twirled it in a circle the brought it into his ready position. He took another stroke at a faster speed this time he stuck his sword behind his head as if there was someone to block there. He took another stroke and another until his sword was moving at lighting speed. Spyre cracked open one eye and watched him, at one point Goten had started to laugh.

"This isn't so hard!" gotten swung his sword to one side. He stopped and wobbled slightly. Goten fell off of the pole onto the ground.

"Hubris…over confident, and for that you were punished." Spyre said smirking at Goten who had fallen through several branches and fell on the stone temple floor.

"Go back to camp. I have a pressing meeting I must attend." Spyre jumped down off of the pillar landing gracefully before his fallen student and walked off. Goten quickly sheathed his sword and followed him.

"So any big battles coming up?" Goten asked avoiding the branch that had swung back at him.

"It is no business of yours." Spyre said coldly as they entered the muddy field. Goten decided not to press him any further and remained quiet until they were well inside the camp. Goten waved to his teacher and said his goodbye, Spyre remained silent and walked inside of the General's tent. Goten made his way slowly to the camp occasionally he would stop and talk to someone that called out to him. Eventually he made his way to the tent and sat down tiredly on his bed. He had just gotten comfortable when a man came into the tent and stopped before him.

"Son, the general wants to see you." The young man said shifted uncomfortablely from foot to foot. Goten got up and made his way back through the crowded camp and into the General's quarters. There were several other people inside. Some of them he had met in his training others he had just seen around.

"You boys had been chosen to scout the area for any grunts that might be around. Now this is very risky that's why we've picked the best of the best. Now you might run into some hostiles on your mission but wipe them out." General Zaroff commanded he laid out a map of the terrain before them. He had several little short routes outlined for the men. Goten's eyes suspiciously shifted to Spyre who stood in the corner. His hair drooped over his face hiding whatever sinister expression he had on, but Goten knew that he had set this up.

"Now this won't start till tomorrow so go over this map, and you might want to get to know your fellow crew members. This scouting mission could take quite a few days." Zaroff handed a map to one of the guys beside it who just looked down curiously at it. He then looked to the guy next to him and handed him the map.
