Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ It Was Supposed To Be Forever ❯ Chapter 11
Author's Notes: First of all, I am really saddened about the reviews we got from chapter 10, and I know it was something that our loyal readers hadn't expected… but do not worry! If you will continue to read, you will see that things will 'work themselves out'…it won't be as predictable like so many fics, but it will be all sweet and fuzzy at the end, like all v/b stories tend to!
And this much-awaited chapter will be short, but hopefully worth the read. With that said, lets see what' going on with…

Chapter 11
Trunks sat up, his eyes lighting up with an idea…well with the tenth idea to get his parents back together. The whole afternoon was wasted for the two-demi Saiyans, their minds concentrating so hard on a solution that they totally forgot about their training again today.
"You could go to my Dad, and tell him that Mom wants to make amends right," Trunks began as he turned to look down at Goten who was laying down on his back on the grass. "And tell him that Mom is making this huge dinner for him and see what he does."
"Didn't we already squash that idea?" Goten said with a slight groan. He was beginning to get a bit agitated with the whole situation.
"Oh…you're right we did," Trunks mumbled, his shoulders dropping in defeat. "Oh…shit! Shit shit shit!" Trunks jumped up, his fist clenched with frustration.
"Aww…you're not supposed to say that Trunks." Goten said sitting up, his jaw unhinged at his friend's outburst.
"Who's gonna stop me? There isn't a grown-up within five miles of here," Trunks said folding his arms. He looked over at Goten, who was now grabbing at his stomach with a contorted frown on his face. "Sure my cursing didn't make you ill Goten."
"No…but I sure am hungry." Goten whined as he stood. "Let's go to my house and round up some food and then we can finish thinking up a plan."
"I can't," Trunks said looking up towards the sky. "I gotta do something…I have no choice but to go talk to him myself."
"But Trunks, you don't even know where he is."
"I know where he's at," Trunks said, his eyes narrowing as he turned towards the direction of his father's unique ki. "I've known all the time."
"Well what do you plan on saying to him?" Goten asked scratching his head with curiosity.
"I don't know Goten…I guess I'll come to me when I see him. I have to do this…for Mom."
"Well I'm going with you."
"Naw…I'll catch up with you later, okay? I need to face him alone."
Goten gasped inwardly, knowing that 'facing' Vegeta wasn't an everyday normal thing. He knew that Vegeta was a complexed man that needed his space…but approaching him so unannounced would surely get Trunks in trouble…or worse. Goten knew that deep down with Trunks trying to please his Dad and gain his approval he also feared him in a little. But he was so determined to make things right for his family that he was willing to face his greatest fear…
"Okay…just be careful, alright?" Goten said as he began to fly away slowly. Trunks never replied; he had his back now to Goten as he flew out of sight. His senses began pinpointing his father's ki in the precise location. He took off in flight quickly, his teeth clenched as he set out see the man he called father.

Vegeta groaned as he awoke, and then he jolted upright, forgetting where he was. He quickly surveyed his surrounds, and sighed with the realization that he was still in the cave. Rubbing his eyes, he began to retrace his steps from the night before, and he slowing began to panic. To his horror and distaste, he was blinded by jealously and rage and went over to Sapphra's…
How could I have done this? Vegeta thought to himself as he pulled his boots on. Even though he thought Bulma might have cheated on him with the human, but deep down he could not sense it. His lack of control was also weakened with the fact that he hadn't been intimate with his mate for so long that his mind went on autopilot as he ravaged Sapphra.
Vegeta felt a wave of nausea as he walked out of the cave, the sun nearly blinding him. He knew that he could keep the incident to himself…but Bulma could tap into his thoughts, his memories…when she gained access to what happened between them she would never take him back. It wasn't so much that he didn't penetrate her; it was the intimate act itself that condemned him. It was his favorite thing, but it was something he thought he would only do with his mate…what was he thinking? Vegeta groaned with regret as he covered his face with is hands, his mind whirling with confusion as he tired to think up some way to get out of the new situation he was now in.
"Otusan," Trunks called out, causing Vegeta to snap out of his trance and look over at him. He was standing several feet away from him, not sure if he was allowed to come any closer. Vegeta frowned, pissed that being so upset caused his ki to flare, probably letting the boy know exactly where he was. And to make matters worse, he never sensed his son approaching. His hands dropped down to his sides, which surprised the younger Saiyan. He was so used to seeing his Father stand before him with his proud princely stance, his arms folded squarely at the chest. But he noticed something different about him. He seemed worried and perplexed with his thoughts when he arrived. But whatever it was, he was going to get down to the bottom of it.
