Chapter 1.
Yente stormed into her room and slammed her door.
“How dare they!!” she screamed while kicking over her desk chair. “I'm a grown woman for fucks sake!” Her door was cautiously opened and her maid entered.
“Please princess calm yourself.” The old woman said soothingly. “Your parents are just trying to do what's best for you.” Yente glared at the woman with her furious green eyes.
“I am 21 years old, Shannon.” She hissed. I'm an adult and yet I never get to make my own decisions!” she sighed and dropped down on her bed, her anger mostly gone. “How can they do this to me? I never even met this guy.” Shannon looked at the princess with sympathy. The plump grey haired woman had seen the princess grow from a little pretty girl to a beautiful woman and loved her as the daughter she never had.
“Well your parents decided that a marriage between you and prince Michael is the best way to unite our kingdom with that of the Saiyans.”
“And of course no one asked for my opinion.” Shannon sighed and walked over to Yente's closet. She pulled out a soft yellow medieval kind of dress. Yente raised her eyebrow. “What do I need that for?” Shannon rolled her eyes.
“This is for the party tonight.” Yente frowned.
“What party?” She asked in a dangerous tone.
“The party in honour of your engagement to prince Michael.” Yente's frown grew deeper.
“I'm not going.” She said while crossing her arms. “And he's not my fiancé! I'll never marry him.” Shannon heaved a long sigh.
“Please princess. You know you have to do this. You're parents are counting on you, and so is our kingdom.”
“Well I'm glad there's no pressure.” Yente growled before she disappeared into her bathroom slamming the door. Shannon heaved another long sigh.
“This is going to be a long night.”
Michael paced in front of his fathers chair on the bridge of a Saiyan spaceship.
“Forget it. I'm not doing it.”
“You have no choice in the matter. I'm still the king and you still have to obey me.” His father growled.
“You are only king because I let you stay king. Don't forget I'm stronger then you and I could take your crown anytime I want to.” Michael snorted.
“Is that a challenge?” His father said with narrowed eyes. Michael chuckled softly.
“Of course not father. I wouldn't dream of challenging you.”
The king looked at his son with thinly veiled disgust. Oh how he hated that kid. Not only was he tainted with that disgusting human blood, but he was also allot stronger then himself. It was true that he only remained the king because his son would let him. It was an true insult. The only Saiyan thing about him was the fact that he had an tail.
Michael knew about his fathers disgust for him. It had been that way ever since the day he was born and his father first saw his sons blue eyes and blond hair. His father hated humans. He hated the great king Vegeta who mated a human and thereby tainting the royal blood line.
That's why Michael found it so hard to believe his father would marry him of to a human to form an alliance. He knew his father was up to something and he also knew there was only one way to find out what. He sighed and brushed a hand trough his short blond locks.
“Ok father I'll marry the girl. But if I find out you are up to something, I might change my mind about challenging you.” He hissed menacingly before storming out of the room. The King smiled sinisterly as he watched his son leave.
“Oh by the time you figure out what's going on it will be to late!”
