Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ Meow ❯ Too late, the aliens arrive ( Chapter 12 )
Disclaimer: I do not own DB/Z/GT or any of the characters created by the all mighty manga Dende Akira Toriyama.
Author Note: This is my first time writing a real fanfic and I am not real sure about it. I would appreciate any input even flames at this point to help me revise this into what it deserves to be. Also I am sorry the fight scenes weren't very good but it's my first real attempt. Anyway I hope you enjoy.

Chapter 12: "Too late, the aliens arrive"
Pan walked into her house around noon with Trunks behind her. He took her hand and looked around a bit nervously. She knew he had asked her dad for permission to marry her, but he was still as afraid of him as ever. She closed the door and made her way to the kitchen where she noticed something unusual, a large stack of pancakes not eaten.
She walked over to the stack and placed a finger on the top. "That's odd they're still warm." She walked over and picked up the phone that was on the couch which again was odd because her dad was such a neat freak and hated when people left the phone off of the hook. She checked the caller ID and saw the last person to call was about 15 minutes ago and was from Capsule Corp.
"Hey Trunks is something big going on at your house today?"
"No," he said quirking his eyebrow. "Why?"
"Something is going on here. There's a warm stack of uneaten pancakes and a phone thrown on the couch which my dad hates and the last call was from your house 15 minutes ago. Something's up, come on," she said grabbing his hand and taking off out the door heading for his house. As they neared capsule corp. she found her father and mother's ki. The two of them landed and rushed inside and were almost fried by about 4 different extremely powerful ki blasts.
"Guys what the hell is going on," said Pan trying to calm her poor heart as it continued to try and escape her body.
"About a half hour ago we received some sort of message saying that if we didn't meet there demands they would blow up the planet," explained Bulma. "We weren't sure if they were serious or not, but as soon as the transmition ended they blew up a small village just 50 kilometers from here. These guys mean business and they said they were landing within the hour and they weren't leaving without getting what they wanted."
'The aliens. They're here! But," she thought and her face began to pale. 'I know what they want…me. That's what she was trying to warn me about. But what do they want with me? What will they do to me? Should I tell Trunks or would that make it worse? I don't even know what they want with me yet, it may not be that bad.' She shook her head trying to clear her thoughts.
"I have to prepare," she whispered to herself and snuck off to Bulma's lab to grab a couple of capsules. She came back when she heard Trunks wandering the halls looking for her.
"Pan, what were you doing in my mom's lab," he asked looking at her in a hurt way.
"I'm sorry Trunks, I just needed to be alone for a second. This is out first real threat since…since grandpa…," she said softly and let her voice die down. She was a bit upset about that, but not as much as she was trying to convince Trunks of. She felt his warm arms around her. She leaned her back against him and felt so safe and comfortable here. 'I should really tell him, he needs to know no matter what happens to me.' She turned and looked up at him her eyes threatened tears as she spoke, "Trunks I have to tell you something. I-," she said but was cut off by a loud explosion from outside. They both turned and ran outside to find the others staring at a huge space craft.
The entrance opened with a hissing noise as the door fell open and out stepped two human-like figures and one very dangerous looking companion. They're companion looked like he was one big picker drenched in blood. Maybe that wasn't his skin color, maybe it was blood. He towered over the two others, but kept behind them as they dropped to the ground and glanced over the group. Pan noticed as the man on the left stopped his gaze on her. She felt s cold shiver run along her spine as he spoke harshly to the others and pointed at Pan saying," She's the one." The other two turned their bodies and looked at where the other was pointing.
"Give us the girl so we may leave," said the man on the right this time. "Or else we will be forced to kill you all and then destroy your planet." Everyone turned to stare at Pan who only hardened her face in determination and stared back at the group who took a few steps towards her.
"Take her and die," came the reply from Trunks. Pan was a little surprised but wouldn't let it show in front of her enemies.
"You want her you have to go through us," spat Gohan getting into a fighting stance.
"All of us," chimed in Goten taking a fighting stance next to his brother. Vegeta didn't say anything but got into a stance and ready to fight. The others in the group headed for some sort of shelter. They stared each other down for a minute, but it was the red alien that made the first attack and lunged for Vegeta. Vegeta jumping out of the way and flying at him, fist out, and slugged him in the face but pulled back quickly when he realized he hadn't done any damage. He quickly powered up to super saiyan 4 hoping to take him out quickly and get these asses off his planet. (AN: Yes Vegeta considers it his planet now) He continued throwing blow after blow but found he did minimal damage to the red picker.
It was then that Gohan decided to jump in and help Vegeta out. Powering up to super saiyan 2. The both of the together seemed to be slowly tearing him down with numerous attacks and ki techniques. The others were still standing there eyeing each other up. The one on the left was definitely stronger, but Trunks and Goten were having a hard time deciding who would take who. Trunks had whispered to Pan to stay away from the guys and help out only if it was an emergency. She begrudgedly did so and was for the first time in her life a stand-by.
But it was the alien on the right who decided it all when he lunged for Goten leaving Trunks to jump at the one on the left. Both of the saiyans charges up to super saiyan 2 before confronting their alien. Pan was forced to sit back and watch as all of the people she cared for fought desperately for her. 'What am I going to do? What if something happens? It'll be my entire fault!' Just as she thought this she felt the ground shake and noticed the red alien was now just a big ball of blood and dragged himself back to the ship.
Goten knocked his alien out with an uppercut to the jaw and sent him sailing back towards the ship before turning to help Trunks out. They wore him down with Trunks attacking form his left and Goten attacking from his side. It seemed his left side was a bit weaker as Trunks kept landing blow after blow on the man's body until he was lying in a carter in the ground, the result of her uncle's Kamehameha. But their bodies were not down for long as they quickly took flight and levitated off the ground and slowly floated back into the ship. It was then they all felt another ki.
"Men, can't kill them, but you can't get them to behave," said a female humanoid figure that emerged from the ship.
"Pan? That is your name right," she said with a slick smile turning to Pan. "Why don't you save me a lot of trouble and just come with me. I don't want to hurt your friends but I'll do whatever it takes to complete my orders," she said with a creepy chuckle.
"Forget it she's not going with you," Trunks yelled to her right.
"Oh I'm sorry but I wasn't talking to you little boy," she said glancing at him ad then turning her attention back to Pan.
Pan gritted her teeth and fought back her fear and was able to shout out, "Fuck you!"
"Aww too bad, I thought you may have liked these people," she said and waved her hand and they were all instantly on the ground except for Pan.
"What are you doing to them," screamed Pan as she noticed all of the skin on their bodies seemed to be peeling away from them.
"I'm sorry did I forget to mention that this little gizmo on my hand send out gravitational waves of any force I want. Now why don't you be a good girl and get on the ship," she said smirking. Pan dove at her kicking and punching, even trying to claw at her.
"Fight back damn it," she said swinging and missing again.
"Sorry I can't damage the merchandise," she said easily blocking all of her kicks and punches. Pan continued to fight on and glanced at all of her friends and family writhing on the ground. The only one who didn't look like he was in that bad of shape was Vegeta. But not to say there wasn't any effect, it was just taking longer. You could see her eyes light up as a little light bulb seemed to go on in her head. She flew over towards Trunks and was immediately pinned to the ground by the gravity and felt like her skin was going to be ripped off in a matter of seconds. Then it was all gone. She grabbed Trunks hand and quickly pulled him up with her.
"Come on," she said pulling Trunks along. "She can't hurt me so just stay close." With that they both dove and landed between her uncle and father and once again the gravity was lifted. Pan had to think a while before doing the same for Vegeta. They made a seriously tight semi-circle around her and waited to see what her next move would be.
"Well aren't we a clever girl," said the woman and actually chuckled. "But I always have a back-up plan she said waving her hand and Videl appeared in her arms. "Give up peacefully or the next time you'll see your mommy is in heaven." She froze.
Everyone around her was yelling. Her father was calling her a monster, everyone else was screaming at her to fight one on one or fight fair. But Pan was somewhere else. 'I can't let this happen. I'm not going to let this happen. I'm never going to give up, but I can't let people die because of me. I can't let them die!' She leapt out of the circle of people and walked towards the woman.
"Pan what are you doing," screamed Trunks and ran towards her but was blasted back by the gravity machine. All of them were once again on the ground and screaming at her. "Pan don't go," he said in noticeable agony.
"None of them die," she said calmly as she took the last few steps towards the woman. "Or I will make sure you die in a writhing pile of flesh and broken bone."
"We had no intention of harming anyone," she said tossing .Videl aside and coming closer to Pan. "You forced us to." Pan glanced back at all of them under the gravity's effect.
"I have no intentions of letting anyone I love die today," she said in all seriousness. "I'll come." The woman approached her and pulled out what looked two really bulky pair of hand cuffs. She slapped some on her ankles and instantly knew it was more. It was a mini version of that gravity machine. She twisted Pan's hands behind her back and planned some more on her wrists while holding the other fights to the ground. She grabbed Pan by her wrists and dragged her inside.
"I hope we never meet again," the woman called out as she quickly jumped inside the ship with Pan finally releasing her hold on the fighters. They were all on her ship in a matter of seconds but found she had a gravity field around her ship as well. The closer you got to the ship it would repel you back as much, like running into a rubber band. They watched the retreating ship until it was too far away from earth for them to follow. They all went back to earth to try and find out where they were going. But Trunks just stood there. He had a blank look on his face, not anything. He just stood there and when everyone had left he fell to his knees and screamed loud enough for most of the world to hear him, "PPPPPPPAAAAAANNNNN!"
On the ship
She watched the earth, her home slowly fall away from her. The whole time she stared at Trunks, she felt tears threatening and gave in knowing she may never see him again depending on what the hell she was wanted for. She watched as Trunks almost reached the window she was at, he was so close, she could almost reach out, punch the glass and touch him if it wasn't for the cuffs, but he was shot back. Eventually they stopped, the ship was probably leaving earth and they could no longer follow. She watched their retreating forms, but focused on Trunks as she drifted away thinking, 'I should have told him.' She sat there letting the tears flow until she fell to the floor in a heap passed out.
Where are they taking Pan? What do they want with her? What did Pan want to tell Trunks? Will the rest of the Z gang on earth ever find her again? Find out on the next chapter: "Welcome to your new home"
AN: I just wanted to ask, do you think I should redo this chapter and work on the fight scenes a bit more or do you think since the fighting was a bit minimal it's ok for now? I'd love any feedback you have for me!
