Author Note: This is my first time writing a real fanfic and I am not real sure about it. I would appreciate any input even flames at this point to help me revise this into what it deserves to be. Also there is a bit of Marron bashing sort of, but I don't think it's too severe. But Marron lovers, just be aware. Anyway I hope you enjoy.

Chapter 16: "Escape"

"Are you sure this is going to work," asked Nasha for the hundredth time.

"Yes, now stick exactly to the plan and we're out of here," said Pan using a small cord from the computer to hook to her collar and fry the circuits and unlocking it sending it crashing to the floor next to Nasha's.

Nasha picked up the few explosives lying on her bed and Pan gathered her things up as well. "You ready," asked Pan. All Nasha could do was gulp. With the push of the enter key all Hell broke loose. All of the cells immediately unlocked and opened, at the same time the fire alarms were going off.

The people in the main operating room in the compound tried to unfreeze their computers until all of them went blank and a smiling skull came up and laughed at them. Pan quickly shut the laptop and capsulized it and ran out the door after Nasha.

The sprinted down the long corridor and took a left at the first hallway. As they came to a dead end Nasha pulled out a small cylinder-like object and stuck it on the wall. The two women ran to the last hallway and ducked behind it as the explosive went off. They were through the new hole before all of the smoke had cleared.

Their feet barely made a sound as they rushed through the new hallway and zig zagged their way through the maze of corridors. "We're almost there," Pan called out as they took another left running down a now yellow hallway opposed to the white they were used to.

They took one more right and were met with a dead end, to which Nasha quickly ran up and placed a small blue see-through cube in front of the dead end and pushed a small part of the top. The cube began floating blinking slowly as Nasha ran around the corner with Pan. They sat there and covered their ears with what they could as they felt the shockwave from the explosion hit them and throw them to the ground. They quickly got to their feet and ran for the dead end when they noticed that the cube hadn't blown a hole all the way through the wall. It blew a hole maybe 10 feet through, but there was still resistance. But Pan had already thought ahead for this.

"Use the purple one," said Pan and ran back around the corner only to see lizard men coming towards them. "Hurry," she yelled urgently. Nasha quickly picked out the purple pill like thing that was like a capsule. She twisted the two halves of the thing and quickly placed it in a crevice in the middle of the wall and ran back to see Pan knock out one of the gecko men. But she was easily over powered with being pregnant and the two dozen gecko men on her. Nasha quickly stepped in and threw the first five down to the end of the corridor where she had just planted the explosive. She took out another two when the explosive finally detonated killing the four that were still in the hallway and knocking everyone to the ground.

Nasha recovered first and grabbed Pan dragging her through the hole where their feet hit solid ground and noticed they were outside for the first time. They quickly made for the fence and as Nasha was starting to climb, Pan grabbed her around the waist and flew them to the other side and made some ground before landing a ways away. She quickly opened the other capsule she had in her hands and out came a small ship maybe 3 times the size of a normal saiyan pod. They climbed in quickly and Pan began pounding on the controls.

The ship hovered a few feet in the air and sat there ready. "This is goodbye I guess," said Nasha with a bit of sorrow in her voice. More for those who didn't escape in the time they had given them then anything else. 'But at least those who didn't escape will be better off dead then living in that hell anymore," thought Nasha. Pan uncapsulized her tiny computer that was still on and typed in the last command and pressed enter.

Inside the compound all hell was breaking loose as all of the different beings were out and looking for revenge. In the computer room where slaughtered gecko men were everywhere and the few that were still alive were being slowly torn to shreds, no one noticed as the skull stopped laughing and winked. The computers and all of their systems started exploding. When they got to the cell Pan and Nasha had been in the explosions reacted with the explosives the two had left on their bed causing an even bigger explosion. Once Pan saw that on the ship she let out a soft sigh and started typing in commands. What Pan hadn't counted on was the chemicals in the genetics department in the compound reacting with the explosion. Just as the ship they were in was about to take off they were caught in a huge explosion.

"What was that," screamed Nasha hanging on to the side of the ship.

"I don't know," Pan screamed back hanging onto the consol with one hand and trying to get them out of their with the other. But with a few swift key strokes they were out of there. Pan sat back and took a deep breath feeling exhausted.

"We made it," Nasha said in a soft whisper that if it wasn't for Pan's saiyan hearing she wouldn't have heard.

"Nasha," Pan questioned looking over at the C'tarl C'tarl and was shocked to see tears streaming down her face.

"I'm….free," said Nasha, her voice lifting on the word 'free.' "Pan, you do not know how long I've dreamed of being free, you made my dream come true. Oh Pan how can I thank you," she said as she glomped her.

"Nasha there's no need to thank me. We got out together, and that's all that matters now. If you want you can even stay on Earth a while, relax and start enjoying your freedom," said Pan holding her new friend.

"Pan this is too much. I feel so tired," she said drowsily.

"Well I think we both earned a well deserved rest, what do you say to a hot shower and a well deserved rest?"

"What about the ship?"

"Oh it has autopilot and we're already on course for Earth, so we'll be fine. And if anything is out of the ordinary the computer will tell us." Nasha nodded and headed for the bathroom. She looked back a bit confused when Pan didn't follow.

"Nasha you're free now, you can take a shower on your own, and you don't have to share anymore." Nasha felt tears well up in her eyes again and nodded walking in alone to take a shower by herself for the first time in her life.

Pan sat on her bed and stared out a port hole at the stars. 'Trunks I'm coming home.' She felt a small kick and looked down to her now plump stomach she had gained over the last week. 'We're coming home,' she thought and smiled.

But outside the shit there was a problem. During the explosion the fuel tank had ruptured and this ship was steadily leaking fluid. It would only be a matter of time before the ship stalled or crashed. But for now Pan and Nasha were enjoying their new found freedom.

Back on Earth

Trunks was still upset about his mother yelling at him. 'I really have to apologize to her in the morning,' he thought yawning. He opened the door to his room and was too lazy to turn on the light. He slipped out of his jeans and fell onto his bed. It wasn't until he was lying in bed that he finally noticed their was someone else in the room. Before he knew what was happening he felt a warm body fall on top of his and a pair of warm lips brush against his. He quickly pulled back almost falling off the bed in the process. He flipped his lights on to come face to face with a bland haired blue eyed woman sitting half naked o his bed.

"Marron? What are you doing here?"

"I want you back," she said crawling closer to him.

"Marron stop," he said holding her back. "What are you doing? We broke up remember? I'm with Pan now."

"Really? Where is she," Marron asked with an evil smirk.

"Marron come on that's not funny."

"It's not supposed to be," she said seriously. "Trunks come on, she could be anywhere in the whole damn universe, do you really think you can find her? And even if you do, what if by then she's moved on? You need someone, I need someone, and I'm here to be that someone," she said leaning forward and kissing him again. This time he pushed her back roughly almost causing her to fall off the bed.

"Marron I don't care what you say, I love Pan and I will lover her to the day I die. Even if she does move on I can't stop loving her. And even if I never see her again, I will still love her and know I'll see her again in heaven." He looked at her surprised as tears began spilling over her cheeks.

"Why," she asked raising her voice. "Why her? We were together two years! Then all of a sudden you call me up and break up with me for no reason. Then a week later I find out you and Pan are together. Why her Trunks? Why couldn't you love me," she screamed tears now pouring down her cheeks.

"Marron," he said sympathetically. "I'm sorry but I don't control love. If you ask 'why her?' I have to ask why me? Why are you in love with me?" Marron gave him a curious look. "You didn't choose to fall in love with me, you may not have even wanted to fall in love with me, but you did. Just like I didn't want to fall in love with Pan. I loved what we had, but then I fell in love. You can't help it or fight it, you just have to deal with it. I'm sorry that I can't tell you something else. But it would be lieing." She sat there stunned a minute. Then she slapped him across the face.

But instead of turning and storming out of the room she just sat there on his bed. "Trunks," she said softly. "Let me sleep with you."

"Marron I told-," he said but was cut off.

:"I don't mean sex. Just let me sleep here with you tonight. Please?" He sighed and scooted over in bed and turned the light off. She snuggled into her side of the bed and put her head on his chest as her put an arm around her and they both fell into deep sleeps. (AN: And no nothing happened later that night!)

Back on the ship

Pan fell out of her bed as the ship's siren started going off. "Pan what's going on," screeched Nasha from her bed. "Are they after us? What's going on," she wailed. Pan sprinted to her feet and ran over to the controls seeing the problem.

"Nasha calm down. It's ok, we're just almost out of fuel. We must have gotten a leak from that explosion. It's ok, we'll just land on a nearby planet and try to fix the ship." With that settled Pan began typing furiously trying to find the nearest planet. She finally found one and set the new course and really pushed the speed on the ship.

"Watch out Nasha, we're going to be cutting it close with the fuel and we may have a rough landing," Pan said as the ship started shaking as they went through the planets atmosphere. Nasha screamed and gripped the wall next to her bed almost ripping it off the ship. As expected the fuel ran out as soon as they were through the atmosphere and they were dropping through the air like a brick. "Hold on Nasha," Pan screamed as they hit and had to hang on for all they were worth to stay in place. Pan held onto the controls and tried to keep the top of the ship up, they skidded a while before coming to a stop. They both got up a bit shaken.

"You ok Nasha," Pan said rubbing her head.

"Yeah how about you Pan," Nasha asked rubbing her arms.

"Yeah I'm good." The both of them looked around the ship and noticed the inside looked fine. It took a minute before Pan found out they could breathe fine outside and went out to check the damage. Their jaws must have hit the ground. They couldn't believe how good the inside looked and how awful the outside was.

"Pan how could this happen? Now we're stuck here forever, goodbye freedom, goodbye happiness, goodbye everything," Nasha moaned as tears began to form in her eyes.

"Nasha it's going to be all right. I can repair a lot of the damage, don't worry. I was in space with my grandpa and Trunks, neither of them knew a thing about space ships so I was the one who learned to fix them. Don't worry, it may take a couple of days, but we'll be on our way again in no time." Nasha instantly cheered up and announced she was going to fix them both a snack. As Nasha made her famous C'tarl C'tarl sandwich Pan was typing away at her mini computer.

"What ya doin," asked Nasha handing Pan a plate.

"I'm sending out a distress signal with this thing. It won't go too far, but if anyone is in the area they may come to help."

"How far are we from earth?"

"About three galaxies away, so too far for them to pick up our signal. But it's still worth a shot. Anyway it looks like it's still early in the afternoon here, so I think I should start on the ship and get some of the smaller things out of the way and figure out what our larger problems are." Pan quickly devoured the sandwich even though she could make out a whole raw fish in there. She actually liked it. 'Must be because I'm pregnant,' she thought and smiled making her way outside with a toolbox in hand.

On Earth about 2 days since the last report

Everyone was standing in the computer room after being notified the next report was in. Which only took a few seconds with everyones speed and everything. Leon was already on screen waiting.

"Everyone here," asked Bulma.

"Yes no please get on with it," said Trunks trying to stay calm.

"Ok, well we followed up on our report and unfortunately found out she was in Mardol's compound." Almost every woman in the room fainted and had to be revived before they could continue. "My friend had just gotten the file they had on Pan when something happened. We broke into the live feed and it looked like all the cells with all the different beings were wide open and all hell was breaking loose as Mardol and his men were being tracked down and slaughtered. But we also picked these up," he said and switched to different camera feeds of her and Nasha escaping to where they got outside and then the camera cut.

"From what we understand someone hacked into their system with their own computer and planted a virus and explosives that destroyed the compound, we believe it may have been your friend because she was carrying hand explosives with her as she escaped."

"Did they 'do' anything to her," asked Videl tentively.

"No not in her condition," he said.

"Condition? What condition," Gohan said looking worried. Leon's face scrunched up and looked like he was debating whether to tell them or not. "She's my daughter I deserve to know."

Leon sighed and continued, "From the report we got before the computer crashed she was supposedly 2 months pregnant or somewhere in the middle of her second trimester from what the report says." This time everyone in the room stared at Trunks in either shock or anger and Trunks just stood there in shock.

"Anyway," Leon continued drawing their attention back to him. "My hacker friend was able to detect the signature of a ship leaving just as the last explosion took out the compound, so I believe it's safe to assume they escaped. We went to the compound and found no sign of them. They may be on their way to Earth so you may want to keep an eye out for them. We will continue our search though and contact you if anything else comes up. Over and out." With that the computer screen went blank again.

'She's alive and she's free and she's pregnant,' Trunks said happily in his mind. Then the last part of that hit him. "She's pregnant," he said out loud. With that everyone turned to him again. Gohan looked like he was about to kill him and ChiChi, Videl, and Bulma looked like they were going to smother him with praise muttering something about grandchildren and great-grandchildren. "Pan, please come home," he said staring out the window and then looked back at Gohan. "Soon," he squeaked out as he started backing away from him.

Back at the ship

It had been three days since they had crashed on this planet. They had found out that the days on this planet were 26 hours long, so it was easy enough for Pan to adjust. She was able o get most of the repairs done in the first two days. But the problem that remained was now that the rocket was fixed they needed fuel. There was an emergency amount, but that wouldn't get them too far, just into space and at most half way through this galaxy then they'd have to float around aimlessly.

But Pan and Nasha had decided to try and find someone on this planet to help them. After an initial scan Pan found there was a small group of beings about 29 miles south of the forest they had crashed in. So on the third day they packed up some supplies and Pan flew them 25 of the 29 miles. But made them walk the last 4 as Pan was getting tired and she didn't think they should scare away the only people who could help them.

"Are we getting close Pan," asked Nasha panting a bit from the heat more then the walking.

"Yeah I feel some people maybe a quarter of a mile away, we just have to keep going." They continued their hike until they stepped out of the bushes and into a village. They looked around and noticed a lot of the people looked like humans but they had two horns and a dragon-like tail.

"Now I have seen everything," said Pan as they stepped into town. The town looked pretty primitive, but Pan had to find some fuel somewhere. So she walked up to a young woman sitting by a fountain and asked, "Excuse me miss. My friend and I aren't from around here, we need to find some fuel for our ship." She smiled politely hoping the woman understood her and could possible help her.

"Space travelers," she asked intrigued.

"Yes," Pan said feeling a bit more relieved the woman at least knew what they were talking about. "My friend and I crashed here because our fuel tank had a leak and we're fixed up now, but don't have enough fuel to get home."

The girl smiled politely. "Well there is a man the next town over who can make it. But it's been so long since we have someone visit our planet. Almost no one even notices our planet, it's hidden behind Fenrir, the big yellow planet just a bit a ways."

"Thank you very much," said Pan bowing politely and told Nasha what she had heard and they started for the next village reaching it within the hour. Pan asked around again and was pointed to an old blue building.

They knocked and entered as someone invited them in. It seemed to be a general store of sorts and they walked up to the counter where the man was sitting.

"What can I do for you two…," he said but stopped as he got a good look at the two cat girls. "Who are you?" They both turned red.

"Sorry, I'm Pan and this is Nasha, we're from space. We were traveling along when we ran out of fuel and crashed here," she explained but felt nervous as he kept eyeing them in a 'certain' way.

"So we were told you could give us fuel," she said hoping he would stop eyeing them soon.

"Well I don't know, what kind does yours take?" Pan took out their emergency supply and handed it to him.

"This is our emergency supply, do you think you could make maybe 50 gallons of it?" He sniffed it and put his finger in it and pulled it out licking his finger.

"Hmmm…this is going to be very very difficult to make. Especially 50 gallons," he said staring as they started frowning and the one who was named Nasha looked like she was ready to cry. "But I can do it, but it will cost you a pretty penny." Pan and her both frowned.

"Do we have to pay right away?"

"No, it'll take me a bit to make it, payment is due when you take it. So that gives you maybe two weeks." Pan and Nasha both sighed in relief.

"Well do you know of any place that might want hired help?"

"Well," he started scooting closer to Pan. "You don't have to pay if you give me something else." Pan blushed a deep red.

"I'm sorry," she started. "But I can't in my condition," she said lifting her shirt to reveal her protruding stomach. The man looked disappointed but shrugged his shoulder.

"Oh well I need money anyway. But the quickest and easiest way to get money would to be a house keeper for the prince, he's about two towns away, but he pays very good. The work is a bit hard, but by the looks of it I think you girls could handle it. Come back when you have 5 million zennai." Both of their eyes turned to saucers.

"5 Million zennai," they both shouted and looked like they were going to cry.

"Don't look so down. Housekeepers there get free room and board and paid 200,000 a day. Should only take you maybe 2 or 3 weeks. Just come back when you have the money and your fuel should be ready."

"Oh thank you sir," they both cried and were out the door and running for the castle. They reached it as the sun started setting and made it to the gates.

"Excuse me," said Pan walking up to the guard. "We would like to apply for a job as maids to the castle, was wondering where we go," she said giving her sweetest smile.

"Well if you really want go around the side and enter the servants' entry and ask for a woman named Rosa in there. She should be able to help you," he said pointing to the left of the castle.

"What do you mean if we really want," asked Nasha.

"Well the castle is so big, most maids don't make it a week with all the work." They both giggled and removed the shawls from their heads they had used to hide their ears.

"Well we're not ordinary girls," Pan said and purred softly. "Thank you though." With that they walked to the servants' entry and walked in and found a woman in her mid 30's sitting in a chair reading something.

"Excuse us," said Pan getting the woman's attention. Her eyes immediately went to their ears.

"Who are you," she said sounding a bit scared. So Pan told them about crashing and the fuel and needing money and what the man said. "Well if you really think you can handle it."

"We can handle anything," said Pan.

"Well I'll take you around the place right now so I don't have to in the morning. You start work in the morning, so this is more like a tour," she said and led them through the house. By the time they got back to the quarters it was getting late.

"Well ladies do you still want to do it," she asked folding her arms over her chest.

"Of course," replied Nasha. Pan just nodded smiling. The woman sighed and handed them some cloths.

"These will be your uniforms, you do not talk to anyone unless you need to get by them or unless they talk to you. When you do address them always address them as sir or madam and show the ut most respect to them. The closet over there has all of the cleaning supplies for the entire castle, and it is well labeled what each is used for. Do you have any questions?"

"I do," said Pan speaking up. "I was just wondering, who the king and queen were."

The woman sighed and looked saddened. "Well the king is King Sion Quintali the 4th. The queen was Queen Dominique Marie Quintali, but his poor wife passed away four years ago giving birth to their daughter. Princess Diana Dominique Quinatli. She's only four right now, but she'll be 5 in two months."

"That should be around the time my daughter will be born," she said rubbing her stomach.

"You're pregnant? Maybe you shouldn't be working."

"Of course not, I'm fine. I still have another two months and all we need is two weeks salary to pay off that guy for the fuel."

"Well then, these are your quarters," she said turning and opening a room off to the left that had four beds. One bed was already occupied. "That is Margaret, she's the only other maid we have right now, and you can introduce yourselves in the morning. I'll wake you so just get some rest." Both of them nodded as she shut the door behind them and they climbed into bed to rest for the next day.

Will Pan and Nasha get up enough money? Will they ever leave the planet? Will anyone hear their signal? Find out in the next Chapter: "Don't quit your day job."
