Only You- chapter 10: A night alone

That evening, the sky was blended in the colors of orange, pink, darkish yellow, purple and a dark blue as they blended into a black. The sun was dark orange with waves of orange all around it.

Videl and Gohan walked out, changed into clean clothes since they were training all day, ready to go and catch fish.

"Oh I love your dress Videl", said Chi-chi admiringly.

"Umm…Thanks Chi-chi" she said

"Yeah, it looks beautiful on you", said Gohan.

"Well you two had better be off, Goten, your helping me with the dishes!"

"Wha...?? Awww man!" said Goten, dissapointed

"I know you Goten, wanting to follow them and see what will happen"

"Whaa..?? Mom! How can you talk about me like that!" he said, sheepishly.

"Well you two have fun!"

"K mom, we will", said Gohan as he walked up to Videl and held his arms open for her.

Videl walked up to him, between his arms and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Gohan lifted up her legs, now carrying her in his arms, he then took off, slowly and said bye to Goten and Chi-chi.

Goten chased him, running along behind him and yelled…

"Gohan! Don't forget to use your tounge!!!"

Both Gohan and Videl's eye's widened in embarrasment and Gohan's face went completly red, Videl blushed, looking down to hide her face in her hair blowing in the wind.

Chi-chi slapped Goten around the head, grabbed his ear and dragged him into the house.

"No more embarassment from you Goten!!"

"Aww...b...b…mo...OW...mom ow…ow...ow...ok...ow...ok...ok sorry...oww!!!"

Gohan and Videl's blush had finally faded away and Gohan was looking below them as he slowly flew past all the vallys and hills. He eventually spotted the famous lake that he, Goku and Goten caught they're big fat, giant fish from.

Gohan gently landed near the gentle waterfall, as he looked down at Videl's face while carrying her, wishing they could stay like that forever.

Videl jumped out his arms and looked around.

"Wow Gohan" she said, "it's so beautiful here!"

"Yeah, I've come here ever since i was a lill kid, i love it here"

"Don't blame you, I wish I had a nice place like this to come to when i needed time alone, to think or something"

"Well, your welcome to come here whenever you want now" said Gohan with a cute smile.

"Thank-you Gohan" said Videl as she turned to him.

Gohan looked deeply into her eye's for a few minuites and she stared back in the same way.

"Videl?" he said in a soft voice, "Come here, i want to show you something"

"Ok…" she said, also talking in a soft, sweet voice.

The sun had completly dissapeared now leaving the sky pitch black with sparkley white, shining stars scattered completly over it.

Gohan held his hands up, with his fingers spread open holding them out towards Videl as she slowly walked to him.

Videl held her hands up in the same way and reached them out to him as they slowly walked to eachother.

When they're hands both met, they had a strange feeling, a feeling they've never felt before, a close feeling, as if this was supposed to happen.

They stared into eachothers eye's deeply as they're fingers locked together and Gohan sent a tiny, weak wave of power through his hands to Videl which made they're hands glow blue for a few seconds before fading away.

Videl felt his power and felt different, but not in a bad way, in a stronger way and just gazed even deeper into Gohan's eye's as he did back to her's.

Gohan and Videl's faces were drifting slowly towards eachother, without realising it, lost in their gaze. Their lips gently brushed one another and then touched again.

Videl felt Gohan's warm soft lips against hers but she didn't blush since she couldn't even think, as she was lost in a dream as Gohan felt the same way.

The grip of they're hands became tighter as they kissed. Gohan's tounge then passed into Videl's mouth as she did the same to him, moving they're heads slowly, side to side, deepening the kiss.

5 minuites had past and Gohan finally broke the long, deep kiss and looked down at her, not sure if he was dreaming or not.

Videl looked up at him, still gazing deeply into his eye's with sparkles reflecting from the stars that surrounded them. Videl then looked slightly to the side and realised that they were floating above the clouds, with the sight of the close up moon next to them.

Gohan also looked around, confused. He didn't have a clue that they were flying and then looked back down to Videl, into her eyes.

"Gohan" Videl whispered

"Yes Videl?" Gohan whispered back

Gohan and Videl moved closer to eachother in a hug and in Gohan's ear Videl whispered...

"I love you"

Gohan had just clicked onto realising that this was real, it was all really happening.

"Videl, I love you too" he whispered

"I loved you the whole time, I loved you every minuite I saw you, I just never realised it, I never really realised it...until now" he whispered in a soft voice.

The sound of Gohan's voice like this and what it had just said made Videl blush and made her also realise this definetly wasn't a dream, it was real, and they had really confessed their love for eachother.

"Gohan, I loved you ever since I saw you at school, at first I thought it was just a silly teenage high school crush, but then I realised it was more...it was more than that. When I saw you yelling in agony at that tournament I felt my heart slowly and painfully breaking, like a whole new torcher, and now I know why, its because I love you, and I would do anything for you, anything to protect you." she whispered in his ear again. She then leaned back a bit to look at his face, which was blushing, along with hers.

"I would die a hundred times before letting you get hurt. And the whole reason why I couldn't just accept that whole thing about marrying Shingo, even if I could get a divorce in 18 months was because...I love you, and I would never want to risk losing you" she whispered again, looking up at his face which was blushing, looking deeply into her eye's.

"Videl" he whispered

"You will never lose me", he said as he tilted his head down to her again, pressing his lips against hers.

5 minuites later, they were still kissing passionatley, as they felt their feet touch the grassy ground, and they kept going down to their knee's, still kissing.

Gohan's fingers ran through Videl's hair as he continued the kiss. Videls hands slid around Gohan's waist, to his back and ran up and down it.

Eventually Gohan broke the kiss, realising they were both on their knee's, on the soft, grassy ground again.

Gohan and Videl just stared at eachother, with a little but admiringly smile on their faces as they continued looking deep in eachothers eyes.

Videl took her eye's away from his, closing them and leaned forward, resting her head on his chest, hugging him.

"I never want to lose you Gohan, I never want to let go" she whispered.

Gohan's hands slid down, around her back.

"Don't worry, you will never lose me Videl, and I will never let go, never let go of you" he whispered in responce.

Videl's eye's shot open as she smiled. She then shot back, breaking the hug and said,

"Why don't we try to catch some fish...that's what we came for, right?" she said, happily.

"Uhh..." he didn't know what to say

"Listen Gohan, i'm not stupid, you don't really think your mom fooled me did you????"

"Nope, of course not"

"I just wanna see if I can at least try to catch one"

"Ok"

They both hopped to they're feet, smirking at the lake.

Videl ran to the edge and took off her shoes and the overcoat, which was covering her pink, knee length dress.

Videl then jumped in with a splash.

Gohan then took off his shirt and shoes then ran to the same spot she was standing in, before.

Videl poped back up for air and looked at him with her eyes widened. She gazed at his bulky, muscley body as her mouth dropped open a little. She then forced herself to look away and closed her mouth.

"Wanna come in Gohan? The water's great!"

"Sure"

Gohan lifted off the ground and hovered above the water, looking down. He then dropped himself with a big splash.

The wave from the spash went straight over Videl as she held her arms infront of her face.

They both popped back up at the same time, laughing.

The locks of wet hair, hanging over and sticking to Videl's face as she looked at him. She then went underwater, swimming deep under so Gohan couldn't see her below him. He then uncontrolably burst out with laughter as she was underneath him, tickling his feet. Videl then tugged his leg a little so he'd go underwater as well. Videl popped back up, took a deep breath and went bak under again.

Gohan's face turned into a smirk at her while they were underwater. He then stuck his hands out towards her as he started swimming straight at her.

Videl squeeled a little and quickly spun around, swimming as fast as she could away from him.

Gohan easily caught up with her and swum right under her with his arms crossed and an even bigger smirk crossed his face.

Videl's eye's widened in fear as Gohan grabbed her with both his hands, by the waist, twitching his fingers to tickle her.

She was trying hard to hold it in with torcher as Gohan swum quickly to the surface of the water.

He finally flew up from the water with a huge splosh, still tickling her at the waist.

Videl burst out laughing as tears ran down her face. As well as the trails of water left on her face from her wet hair.

Videl then got the strength to lift her hands up to his ribs and twitched her fingers on him, tickling him as he stopped.

Videl then pushed him away, falling out of his grip, back down to the water with a splash.

She then popped back up, looking up at him.

"Gohan! You jerk! I could have drowned!" she yelled

"i wouldn't have let you"

"But still!!!!..."

Gohan lowered himself down, dipping into the water till he was level with Videl.

"I'm sry Videl", he said as he slowly drifted towards her.

"Oh Gohan!" she whined, "I can't stay mad at you, you just look way too sweet and inosent" she said with a sigh.

Gohan smirked a little as he drifted right up to her and carried on, making her swim back a bit, till she stopped at the edge of the lake, looking up at him.

Gohan looked down at her with a smirk and drifted his face to hers.

"I don't look as pretty and beautiful as you though" he whispered on his way.

Their lips met once again, pressing against eachother.

Videl was leaning against the slope going in, deeper into the water and Gohan leaned his body against hers.

Videl placed her hands on both sides of his face as the kiss deepend.

Gohan's hands slid up the sides of her body as his lips left hers and met her neck.

Videl rested her head back a bit as Gohan kissed her neck, going lower and lower till he got to her colar bone.

He then slid his hands down her sides again and slid them up her legs and under the dress, sliding up her sides, against her soft skin.

Videl moaned a little when she felt Gohans hands slide towards the front of her body and upwards. His hands then cupped her breasts, while they were in her lacy black bra.

Videl bit her lip and closed her eye's tightly as Gohan's hands slid down a bit and up again but under her bra, cupping her breasts in his hands.

Gohan then looked up with a smirk at her and started kissing her again, deeply.

Videl wanted him so badly and Gohan could see that in her eyes whenever he looked at her and he was about to unbutton her dress when...

"Gohan? Gohan??" a little voice yelled from high above them.

"Gohan! Mom wants you and Videl to come home now!!!" he yelled. Words that later Goten will deeply regret.

Gohan and Videl quickly stopped kissing and Gohan slid his hands back down and out from under her dress.

They both stood up and stepped out the water, blushing slightly, looking away from eachother.

"Umm...I think we should get back", said Gohan in a dissapointed tone.

"Yeah...I guess", said Videl, in the same way.

Videl then looked back to the other side of the lake from hearing rustling around in the bushes from the distance but didn't see any movement.

"C'mon Videl, we'd better go", said Gohan, looking back at her.

"Yea, coming…" she said with a little curiosity, staring at the bushes she heard the sound from. She then turned to Gohan and followed him.
