Piccolo's Heart
Key: This is going to be like a play… most of my stories are dialogue anyhow. If a person is thinking it, it will be in parentheses. If a person is speaking telepathically, it will be in pound signs. The chapters will be dived by acts consisting of scenes. Got it? Good.
Setup: Piccolo has been wandering Earth for five years after Cell… trying to find his life's purpose. No one of the Z squad has seen him since Goku's death, not even Gohan.

Act X: Turn of Events
Scene I: At the Lookout
Gohan confronts Dende about the whereabouts of Kim and Piccolo.
Gohan: They've been gone for awhile and it is getting late.
Dende {blushes}: They need time to sort things out.
Gohan: Why can't I sense them? (Why is Dende blushing?)
Dende: Piccolo needs time with Kim. Maybe we will have a love connection.
Gohan: Oh, I think I see what you are getting at. (Does he know more than he's saying?)
Dende: Kim is really something. I wonder why she loves Piccolo so much.
Gohan: Well, Piccolo is an amazing person. What I am wondering is can Piccolo love her in the same way? What do you think Dende?
Dende: You are speaking of Nameks being asexual, right? Well, Piccolo sort of evolved… being born on Earth and such.
Gohan: So he can feel love for her?
Dende: Yes, he can and I'm pretty sure he does. If you've seen the way he is with her, it is as plain as day.
Gohan: But at times it seems he hates her. Like when he knocked her hand away.
Dende: You as good as any know how Piccolo is. He doesn't hate her, I think he just hates the weakness she has created in his heart. You remember?
Gohan: Yes, he acts hostile to cover up affection. (But he growled at me… we were hugging… I think I understand.)
Kim comes flying with Piccolo following behind.
Kim: Look who I found!
Piccolo: Yes, you have won again at hide-and-seek. {sarcastic}
Gohan: So where were you hiding?
Kim: He was at a hot spring. It was really pretty and the water was nice. Pici sure knows how to pick them hiding places.
Piccolo: Yes, I do. Now will you stop with the cutsy nicknames?
Kim: How about Pickles?
Piccolo: No.
Kim: Picywicky?
Piccolo: No.
Kim: Pi-chan?
Piccolo: No.
Kim: Green bean.
Piccolo: No {anger increasing}
Kim: Puff?
Piccolo: (What the hell is this puff?) Definitely no.
Kim: I let you call me Kim!
Piccolo: What else am I to address you as?
Kim: My name is Kimberly.
Piccolo: Well you didn't introduce yourself as such. So now I will call you Kimberly and you will address me as Piccolo or sensei.
Kim: {sticks her tongue out}: Fine.
Gohan: Very interesting.
Piccolo: What is?
Gohan: You do love her! {laughs}
Piccolo: Who said?
Kim: Piccolo is asexual.
Piccolo: (Dammit… I knew I forgot something. She doesn't know…) Yes, of course. Don't be foolish… now we really should get back to training.
Kim: Oh, yeah. I forgot! {smiles} Think you can teach me the cool beamy cannonny thingie?
Piccolo: The special beam cannon?
Kim: Yeah! And the cool thing you used against Android 17, which is my favorite battle by the way. You know… the thing where you sent all those blasts and he thought you missed him and then WAM! {clamps her hands, loudly} They all slam into him… he cheated by putting up a shield.
Piccolo: (How does she know this? I swear… she better tell me soon.) The scatter shot?
Kim: YEAH! I want to learn how to do all sorts of zappy things! (Especially if I am going to stop Buu from being resurrected. I know how to stop him! When they are hiding in the mountain! Perfect, then my Pici won't be turned to stone!)
Piccolo: Zappy things… okay?
Kim: (And then Pici won't drop out! Who cares if he is the Supreme Kai?) When's the World Martial Arts Competition?
Piccolo: Two weeks, why?
Kim: Because we all are going to enter!
Gohan: I didn't tell you, sensei, but my dad is coming back for one day… for the competition.
Piccolo: And you knew this, Kimberly?
Kim: Well, um, yes. Gohan told me! {points to Gohan}
Gohan: No-
Kim {clamps hand over his mouth}: OF COURSE YOU DID!
Piccolo: Kimberly… what are you not telling me?
Kim: Ummmmmmm… well… let's train! {gives Piccolo the victory sign, typical of Goku}
Piccolo: No, I will not. Not until you tell me.
Kim: NO! I have a good plan and if you were to know the things I know you'd just screw it up! (Dammit.)
Piccolo: Kim…
Kim: Pici… I know the future and I'm going to change it. I am from another dimension and I know what is going to happen in this dimension. I'm going to change it!
Piccolo: What is going to happen?
Kim: That's for me to know. See if I were to tell you it could change things and then I won't be able to use my plan to change things.
Piccolo: I don't know what you are saying. How could you know this stuff?
Kim: I watch TV! {smiles} (Maybe that will get him off my case.)
Piccolo: (Fine, I guess she sort of told me) Let us train, then.
Kim: WHOOPIE!
