Chapter 2: Hyrule

A beautiful humming filled the afternoon air from on a balcony of a huge stone castle, Hyrule Castle. A thirteen year old girl was the cause. She wore a pink and white dress that reached her ankles and had blue sleeves that reached to her elbows. She had beautiful black hair that reached her mid-drift and black eyes that could search the soul of any Hylian. As she hummed she gripped the raining of her balcony causing them to turn white.

Her name, Princess Chichi of Hyrule. The tune that she hummed would normally be played on her Ocarina of Time, but it was locked away in a place were only she could find it, because of a feeling of evil she had been feeling recently.

She stopped her music and looked down, there she saw her sixteen year old brother, Prince Vegeta, talking with their father.

"I wish you two would believe me," she sighed to herself.

The ruby, rose shaped gem on her head swayed a little on its golden chain because of her worry and would shine everytime the setting sun would hit it. She turned away from her balcony and exited her room. She walked down the long staircase with one hand gripping the rail and the other holding her long dress, so she wouldn't trip. She stopped short when she saw Ganondorf talking with his nephew Tristan, and she strained to hear, but she couldn't make out most of the words, although she did hear five gems, triforce, power, courage andwisdom. Before she could try to hear anything else Tristan turned toward her direction, and she acted as though she had heard nothing and continued to descend the stairs.

Ganondorf bowed and made his exit, leaving Tristan behind to deal with Chichi.

"Hello, Your Majesty, you are looking lovely as usual..." He bowed and gave her a smirk.

"Please excuse yourself from my way." Chichi said with hate.

"Hate" was a weird emotion for Chichi for she hated no one, but Tristan and the rest of his family were exceptions. The feeling of evil had worsened since he and his Uncle had started to come around Hyrule Castle more often. But of course every one trusted them, to be good, and that Ganondorf had learned his lesson from floating in the Evil Realm for over a thousand years, but she doubted it. She knew he was still evil, and she knew he was just waiting for the perfect moment to strike, like a deadly snake.

Tristan didn't move away, instead he stepped closer to her, but she didn't shrink back.

"My sister is very wise, I would listen to her, Tristan," Prince Vegeta walked up and stood next to Chichi.(A/N: see I told you some OOC but then again he is a prince who grew up in a loving home and not with Frieza and he is still arrogant and cocky, trust me.)He stood five foot four inches, which was three inches taller than his younger sister and four inches shorter than Tristan. His dark hair stood up like a flame, and he wore a blood red cape behind Hylian armor.

Tristan gave a quick bow to the both of them and walked away snickering something.

When he had disappeared, Chichi turned to Vegeta, "I could have taken care of myself."

Vegeta just smirked at his younger sister,"You are weak girl, you could take care of nothing."

Chichi punched him playfully on the arm, for she knew he was joking, and started to walk outside. Once she got outside of the castle and into Hyrule Field she sat on a wooden chair to think. She thought about a lot of things, but right now all she could think about was Ganondorf.

"Triforce..."she crossed her legs in a lady like manner and clasped her hands together firmly, "...why does that sound so familiar."

She heard a noise that took her away from her thinking, and she looked further out into the field, and saw four riders heading toward the castle on horseback. The shortest rider was hidden under a beautiful dark green cloak and the rider rode a horse that was light brown and white.(A/N: Epona's Descendant peeps.) She stood and started to walk toward them, and on her way she met up with her father and brother and was followed by Ganondorf and Tristan.

"That is the King and Princess from the Kokiri Forest, we are having a meeting this evening, " The King explained, although no one had asked.

"Then who are the other two?" Chichi asked as she walked and held her dress from the ground.

"One is my son, Yamcha, " Ganondorf answered in his voice filled with evil, it made Chichi cringe slightly.

"The other is probably a protector for the Princess..." Vegeta answered, a bit unsurely, not knowing for sure.

The group made the rest of the trip in silence.
