Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ Revival ❯ One ( Chapter 1 )
S.W.H Speakeths- The idea for this fic came to me while watching the Bardock movie, reading shitloads of horrid fanfics with female saiya-jins and looking for images of female saiya-jins. I've always wanted to do a fic with a female saiya-jin that was different from just being another survivor so I came up with this; saiya-jins are being reborn into the universe, on Earth. Despite being conceived from two human parents, the babies are fully saiya-jin, tail and attitude withstanding. I also wanted to keep the vegetable derivative name because 90% of all the original saiya-jins out there have non-vegetable names.
Disclaimer- I own DBZ/GT not, a brilliant yet sexist Japanese dude named Akira Toriyama does and he's making BILLIONS of dollars off of it. Kaali and Kale are mine though and if you use them, Imma kill yo ass =P
Satan City Hospital. Unlike any other day, today was bustling with activity, particularily in the Ob/Gyn wing. The media had already struck; sending masses of photographers and news crews to capture the biggest thing since Cell. Tucked away in a private room, an exhausted woman reclined in a bed. Her features were haggard and pale with sweat soaking her long, shining blonde hair. In her arms were two perfect infants. Save for the spiky black hair and brown tail on the boy and the dark crimson almost black hair and black tail on the girl. The new mother was flushed with embarrassment as reporters bombarded her with questions regarding her babies' strange appearance.
"How do you feel about giving birth to such remarkable looking children?"
"Do you know who the father is?"
"Several scientific organizations are already trying to gain permission to study your children. How does that make you feel?"
"Are you going to keep the children or give them up for adoption?"
The poor woman blushed as these strangers talked so crudely about her and her family. She looked down at the sleeping infants in her arms and smiled softly. They were awfully cute…even though they looked NOTHING like her or her husband. That fact alone made her upset. How could she have carried such precious gifts when they weren't even hers? With a small sigh, she looked up and faced the mass of reporters. "I feel exhausted as any mother would be. They are no different to me than any other child I might have. They're perfect. Their father is my husband of four years…at least I think we're their parents. I can't really explain why they look nothing like us. No one is going to be poking or prodding my children under any circumstance! They aren't animals you can just use and abuse. They're people! I plan to keep my children and no one is going to say otherwise. I ask that you all please leave now as I am very tired and need to rest."
The reporters, satisfied for now, obliged and exited the room calmly and quietly but they weren't done yet. There were still the nurses and doctors who had helped in the delivery of those two freaky looking babies. There were stories and money to be made yet in this hospital.
Trunks and Goten were channel-surfing when they caught a glimpse of spiky hair and long tails. Trunks grabbed the remote from his best friend and went back a couple of stations until he found the channel that held the object of interest. It was a news channel that ran out of Satan City. The screen showed two sleeping babies, both with unruly spiky hair and gently swaying tails that resembled a monkey's. "Aw! They're so cute!" Goten squealed. Trunks turned to his best friend and smacked him upside the head. "No! Those are Saiya-jins…I think. Let's go get my mom and dad. They'll know!" he said as he got up. The other demi Saiya-jin was a little more reluctant to get up but he soon joined Trunks and the two ran outside to the Gravity Chamber, where Trunks' parents were always and currently fighting about.
The lavender haired boy tugged on the back of Bulma's shirt. "Mom! We saw Saiya-jins on the television! They had the hair and even the tails!" he said excitedly. Bulma stopped her verbal assault on Vegeta and looked down at her only son. "What? Are you sure?" she asked. Trunks groaned and rolled his eyes. "Duh! It's on the news right now! I swear!" he replied. Bulma turned to Vegeta but found that he was already gone. Damn him, she thought. Bulma grabbed Trunks' hand and then Goten's and lead the two boys back into the house.
The Prince of Saiya-jins scowled. The brats were right. Those were Saiya-jins and one them looked very familiar. "Woman, we need to get to this hospital now. We need to get those brats before someone else does." He said gruffly. Bulma approached the television and was shocked to see two babies that were clearly of Saiya-jin heritage. "I thought you said there weren't anymore Saiya-jins out there, Vegeta."
"There aren't, woman. I don't know how to explain this but there are two new Saiya-jins on this planet and we need to get to them before the military does."
"What makes you think the military knows anything about Saiya-jins or even has any interest in them?" she asked. Vegeta grunted and pointed to a figure on the screen and Bulma gasped. A soldier was taking that poor woman's children away from her! "I'll call ChiChi and have her send Goku to meet you there. Don't kill anyone!"
Vegeta smirked and walked out of the house to the yard. From there, he propelled himself into the sky using his ki. The Saiya-jin was on his way to the Satan City Hospital. A bunch of humans weren't going to raise Saiya-jin infants properly and it was his duty as a prince to look out for the best interests of his people. Even if they were close to extinct. Vegeta increased his ki and flew faster, leaving a blazing blue trail in his wake.
King Yamma and King Kai watched what was happening on Earth. "Do you think I am making the right decision? Allowing the Saiya-jins a second chance? Was this a mistake, Kai?" the huge orange deity asked the cricket-like blue diety. "I can't say for certain, King Yamma. Goku and Vegeta have turned out alright and as these new Saiya-jins grow, memories of their past life will surface. Hopefully, those memories will serve as a reminder that this is a chance for them to redeem themselves." King Kai replied, his antennae twitching as he spoke. There were several hundred other Saiya-jins still left in Hell that wanted another chance and this was only the beginning of a very long and tedious journey to reintroduce the Saiya-jin race to the Universe.
