Vegeta and Goku returned to the Briefs' house with the pair of infants. ChiChi, Goten, Videl, Bulma and Bunny all mobbed the men and quickly stole the bewildered babies away. Goku chuckled and wander over to his former wife, ruffling the baby boy's hair. ChiChi cooed and made baby noises, entertaining the baby Saiya-jin while Bulma and Videl tried to get the girl to do something other than scowl. "Maybe Goku should have carried them both. She looks like Vegeta when he's angry." Bulma said, trying to smooth out the furrows in the baby's brow. Bunny giggled. "I think she's cute!" Videl squealed as she set the baby down.

The girl began to crawl over to Vegeta, her tail wagging back and forth. She sat down and looked up at him, in total awe of the Saiya-jin prince. After looking Vegeta over, her gaze wandered over to Goku. The baby Saiya-jin looked at him the same way she looked at Vegeta. Finishing with Goku, her bright black eyes fell upon all the others present. Some of them looked the same and smelled the same but others didn't. None of them smelled like the person she first saw. What happened to her?

Something inside her brain clicked, like an instinct. She belonged with these people, the black-haired men. They smelled like her. The baby looked at Goku and Vegeta once more, her gaze intense.

The two male Saiya-jins shifted. "That brat better not think I'm going to take care of it." Vegeta growled. Goku chuckled and placed his hand on the shorter man's shoulder. "Aw, come on Geta! They're going to need names and to be trained properly. Who better to do that than their Prince?" Goku replied, grinning.

The Saiya-jin prince grunted. "I suppose you are right…for once, Kakkarotto. The male's name will be Kale because he reminds me of a Saiya-jin who served as a palace guard. He could pass for his son. And the female's name will be Kaali, after the female Saiya-jin in my father's Elite crew. Pretty soon they'll be able to train and we are going to train them in the old Roshusenin style."

Bulma picked up Kaali and gently took a hold of the child's swishing, black tail. "What are we going to do about their tails? We do have a moon again and I don't think we're going to want two Oozarus destroying everything in their paths."

"They keep their tails and I will teach them how to control the Oozaru rage. I won't willingly cripple my people for something so trivial. I'm sure you can create a damper until they are old enough to learn. Now stop coddling them. They're Saiya-jins not humans. You'll make them soft. Go fix lunch, woman."

The blue-haired woman glared at him then shoved Kaali at him. "Fine, you and Goku can watch the kids while the women make lunch. I'm glad you see it my way," she replied snidely. ChiChi gave Kale to Goku and followed Bulma into the kitchen. Bunny and Videl left to join the other two women. They had to make enough food for seven Saiya-jins.

Vegeta's eye twitched and he scowled, cursing under his breath. Kaali giggled, her tail lashing happily behind her. "Let's go, brats. Time to see if you're even worth being called a Saiya-jin. Move it, Kakkarotto!" he barked.

The taller Saiya-jin grinned. "K, Geta. Come on boys, you can help us."

The three demi Saiya-jins followed their fathers outside. They went past the Gravity chamber and over to a large section of yard. It was a safe distance from the house and there was nothing around that the babies could get hurt on.

Vegeta and Goku set the infants down and watched. Kaali was the first to bat at her brother with her tail. The little boy growled and smacked her before crawling away from his aggressive playmate. She scowled and grabbed his tail, causing him to wail in pain. Kaali tugged harder and he cried louder. Kale whimpered and moved back over to his sister, nuzzling her with his eyes cast down.

"What just happened?" Gohan asked, scratching the side of his head. Either Kaali was some type of sadist or just really mean to her brother. Vegeta chuckled and separated the two. "She's showing him who's dominant. Saiya-jins are rarely born in pairs but the ones that are have to make it clear to the other who's in charge. Just because Kaali is the dominant one doesn't mean that she'll be stronger but there's a good chance she will be." He replied, checking Kale's tail for any signs of trauma greater than a few bruises.

Goku crouched down and picked Kaali up from under her arms. He held her so she was standing and slowly, he moved his hands away from the infant. Kaali faltered but her tail lashed to and fro, keeping her balance as the newborn Saiya-jin took her first steps. Goku scooted back about five feet and motioned for her to come to him with his hands. "Let's if you're anything like my sons. They were walking a few days after they were born," he told the baby girl.

Tentatively, the baby took her first step and she did so without falling. Greatly intrigued and amused by this new ability, Kaali did it again and again until she was up against Goku's knee. "Wow Geta, can all baby Saiya-jins walk the same day they are born?"

After seeing Goku make progress with the female, Vegeta set the boy on his feet and moved away. Kale was a bit clumsier due to his abused tail and he fell a few times before he too, could walk. The Saiya-jin prince smirked and folded his arms over his broad chest. "Typically, yes but some of the lower-class infants couldn't walk for a few days. By tomorrow, they'll be eating solid foods and at the end of the week, they'll be out of diapers. Saiya-jins mature much faster than humans. What takes a human twenty years to mature only takes five years for a Saiya-jin. We'll be able to start training them next month and ki training within two." Vegeta replied as he watched the siblings get into a shoving contest. Asserting her dominance and showing her eagerness for a fight were the stepping-stones to a glorious future for any female Saiya-jin. Now all he had to do was keep them away from things like television and video games and Vegeta might actually have a chance at reviving the Saiya-jin culture. They would learn about human culture too but the prince intended to keep their Saiya-jin roots firmly embedded. They would take pride in being a Saiya-jin, the ultimate warrior. They would even learn to speak Saiya-go. Vegeta would teach them how to fight using tactics and the importance of technical fighting. His status would finally mean something again. He would be addressed as Prince Vegeta once more.
