Revolution of the Saiyans

Chapter Six

Vegeta landed at the island in a fury.

Immediately, Krillin and his wife Eighteen came running out assuming something was wrong.

"Where is my daughter?" Vegeta demanded.

"What do you mean?" Krillin asked confused. "Marron is spending the night at Capsule Corporation with Bra….…..isn't she?"

"At this moment, neither girl is accounted for!" Vegeta shouted. "Bulma was under the impression that Bra was staying here last night! But apparently, they stayed out all night with Trunks and Kakarott's brat looking for the Dragonballs!"

"Dragonballs?" Krillin asked. "What? Why?"

"Some dribble about wanting to be fighters. It is of no concern to me at this point." Vegeta said. "I'll continue the search and if I run across your delinquent offspring I'll send her home!"

Vegeta took off without waiting for any response.

However, Krillin and Eighteen did not plan on waiting for Vegeta to find their only child. They quickly took off after him.

"I don't know how we're supposed to find the Dragonballs without the radar." Marron said. The girls had landed and were sitting on the warm grass trying to come up with a plan.

"Me neither." Bra said. "Mom can make another one, but it will take her a week or so." She held up the bag of three balls they had collected. "Until then, I guess we take these home and wait."

"I guess." Marron said. "Maybe by the time your mom gets a new radar made, we'll be allowed to see the light of day again." She lowered her head knowing they would both be grounded for a long time after this.

"Fire blast one." General Kelon commanded.

Niekko flipped a small switch engaging a powerful missile blast aimed at Earth. "Fired." He said.

Seconds later. "Fire Two." Kelon said.

Niekko responded quickly. "Fired."

"Now, if these fighters are strong enough to register as level one or two, then they'll survive the blasts." The General replied. "As for the others, there will be nothing but dust."

Bra and Marron sat on the grass.

Vegeta, Krillin and Eighteen were flying in the air.

Trunks and Goten were in a training chamber at Capsule Corporation, Bulma and her father working in the company's lab.

Not too far away, Goku was finishing up his late breakfast, while Gohan hurried off to the college where he was a professor.

Deep in the woods, Piccolo sat in meditation, and high in the Appalachian Mountains Tien and Chiaotzu trained.

No one had time to react, although most of the fighters felt it coming. The first blast covered the entire Western part of the planet, while the second blast hit the Eastern side. It was like a fire that spread across the rivers, valleys, mountains and skies. When it was over, the majority of the people on Earth were dead.

"Successful, sir." Niekko said. "Our radar indicates that there is a massive decrease in life forms."

"Good. Contact King Drais and let him know to beg sending a crew to prepare the planet for the slave compounds." General Kelon said. "In the meantime, we'll land and locate the high power levels and eliminate that problem."

"Yes, sir." Niekko said.

When the report came in, Drais was extremely pleased. He had six ships prepared, each one holding approximately fifty soldiers. "Your General has completed the first part of an extremely important mission." Drais said to his fighters before departure. "As he completes his task, it will be up to you to seek out what human slaves may be left, as well as prepare the planet to hold our total slave population."

He walked tall, his sword hanging at his hip, his hands behind his back. "We are about to embark on a new era for our people." Drais said. "From this day forward, Tragonis, home to the supreme race of our Saiyan people, will be only the first planet in a galaxy of others. We shall acquire and maintain separate planets, each holding a specific purpose for the domination of our people. First, our slave trade, and then all natural resources. Next, our scientific realm will be explored."

As he spoke, the faces of his men were enthusiastic. Once he was done, they shouted in excitement and began their journey toward Earth.

Drais smiled. It was so much easier than he had ever expected. As soon as he knew for sure, that any threat to his kingdom had been eliminated, whether Vegeta or not, he would prepare a glorious celebration for his planet. Perhaps, the time had also come for him to consider an heir for the throne. Although still fairly young, he did not want much more time to pass before he had the thrill of teaching his son the reigns of the kingdom he himself had built. True, the closest he could get to a pure blooded female was a second class, but that would have to do. He did not want to wait another generation for the first true Saiyan women to be born and mature.

He considered Petra. She was a beautiful young girl, one that he had enjoyed on many occasions. Maybe the next full moon, he would take her as his mate, thus beginning his legacy. Drais felt so ecstatic, he hurried down the hall to find Petra.

She was in the kitchen, helping with dinner. As he entered the room, everyone bowed, their eyes not allowed to make contact with him unless so directed by his majesty. "Come with me." He said to Petra. She barely nodded, but did as she was told.

"Yes, my Lord?" She asked in the hallway. But her answer was swift as he picked her up and headed for his quarters. Petra closed her eyes, hiding her fear from him. No, it was not something that the young girl enjoyed, but only endured. She had no idea what the King had planned for her, and if the truth were known, being his Queen was the farthest thing from her mind.

Vegeta's eyes slowly opened. He glanced around him, his entire body aching from a pain he did not understand. Noticing the enormous amount of dust in the air, he began to cough. Standing was difficult, but he was determined. Once he found his legs could hold him, he stood up right and looked around. Other than the dust, Earth looked normal. Several feet away he spotted Krillin and the Android woman, both face down. He walked over and kicked he monk in the side.

Krillin felt the kick, but responded slowly. He pushed himself up on his knees with his hands, shaking as he did so. "What happened?" He asked, trying to shake some recollection in his mind.

"Get up you idiot." Vegeta said, his voice raspy from ingesting the dust. "Something has attacked the planet."

Krillin crawled over to his wife. She was slowly coming around, but had a large wound to her temple. "Eighteen." He whispered to her. "Can you hear me?"

The Android nodded her head and rose up as gently as she could. Her head felt as if she had fallen on the sharp end of an ax. "Marron…" She said.

"Can you fly?" Krillin asked her. "We need to find the girls."

Eighteen nodded. "Just give me a minute." She said.

"I don't have any time for you." Vegeta said. "I'll find them myself." He flew away, frantic. His daughter was out in this hell somewhere, possibly hurt or even worse. Never in his life could Vegeta remember feeling such raw fear. Whatever had just happened, was temporarily taking a backseat. He would find his little girl, or die trying.
