Revolution of the Saiyans
Chapter Twelve
Vegeta listened to the ship as it softy purred. Standing by a large window, he watched as the stars and various planet passed by.
Arms crossed, face in a frown, his heart was filled with such anger, and he thought he might explode at any moment.
He cursed every shinning star, wishing he could blast through the window and destroy it. After a while, they all looked the same. No star was different.
Vegeta walked to the bed and lay down across the silken cover, placing his hands behind his head.
"King…." He said out loud, adoring the way it sounded coming from his lips. "King Vegeta…." A small smile found its way to the corner of his mouth
He lay there for a long time, letting the purring of the ship calm his ragged nerves. He refused to think of Bulma or his children, only focusing on his new role as King.

"General, we should be arriving in approximately forty-five minutes." Perrin said. He hoped that the edge in his voice was not detectible.
"Excellent." General Kelon said. "I must say, I am anxious to see how this all plays out."
"How so?" Niekko said. "Once Vegeta's declared as our King, there should not be a problem."
Kelon smiled. "It's the declaring that I'm worried about." He shook his head. "You may not know Drais as I do, but he will not go quietly. He takes his role of King as seriously as any would. And he is proud of the accomplishments he has made."
"Perhaps Vegeta will see fit to keep Drais in some form of worthy position." Arello suggested.
"Are you joking?" Domia said. "He just left his wife and children back on Earth in order to claim his throne. I doubt he'll have any mercy on the man who's ruled all this time."
General Kelon suddenly realized the magnitude of this whole mission. "There is a good chance, when we land and Drais finds out what is happening, that we may have a revolt on our hands."
"You think Drais would oppose us? Vegeta?" Niekko asked.
"Wouldn't you?" Kelon said smirking. "I know I wouldn't go quietly."
"So, should we be prepared to defend our King? Vegeta I mean?" Domia asked.
General Kelon nodded. "Yes, but since they do not know the specifics of our mission, we shouldn't worry."
Perrin remained silent, making a mental note that when he was the Commander of the new Elite forces, he would not be so stupid.

Bulma sat in front of the elaborate radar system of Capsule Corporation. She had not moved for several hours as she watched the small bleep on the screen. It was the ship, which carried Vegeta.
Perhaps she had overreacted to this whole situation. Now doubting everything she'd once thought certain of, she smiled at the thought of being Queen. Yes, that's what she would be. But, every encounter she'd had with the Saiyan race, except for Goku, had not been pleasant. Even in the beginning, Vegeta had not been considered someone trustworthy.
But that had all changed, one simply night. One simple disagreement over the way she was handling the Android situation so many years ago. What began as a verbal assault, intended on pointing out their mutual stubborn nature, started the most passionate love affair of their lives. Now, all these years and two beautiful children later, Bulma sat alone.
She tried not to cry, wanting to show how brave and independent she still was. Deep down inside, Bulma knew she was no longer the same girl she had been then. Now, she was a woman, deeply and passionately in love with the most wonderful man in the Universe. So, why did she let him walk out of her life?
"Mom?" Bra said, lightly touching her mother's back.
Bulma had been so deep in thought, mesmerized by the red bleep on the screen; she had not heard the door open. She jumped in surprise. "Oh, dear." She said, clutching her heart. "You scared me!"
"Sorry." Bra said, smiling. "I'm going to Marron's. I can't stand to sit in my room for another minute."
Bulma nodded. "Ok. I'm still working on the Dragon Radar. So, just check in with me from time to time." She reached up and hugged her fourteen-year-old daughter. "Call if you're spending the night."
"I will." Bra said. "I probably will. I just need to get my mind off this."
"I understand." Bulma smiled. "I'll keep my mind occupied with the radar."
Mother and daughter said goodbye, and Bulma returned to her dream world. Closing her eyes, she could almost feel Vegeta's strong hands running over her shoulders. Strong, yet gentle. What a wicked combination.

He was just minutes away from arriving on his new home. Tragonis. What the hell kind of name was that? Vegeta wondered how the so-called King had come up with such a ridiculous title. It shall be renamed Vegeseti, just as it should have been.
"Sir?" General Kelon knocked on the door.
"Come in." Vegeta shouted.
"My Lord, we are about to dock at the landing bay." Kelon said. "Your new kingdom awaits." He indicated for Vegeta to follow him, which he did.
They walked down the narrow hallway, feeling the ship as it jumped and bumped its way until it rested safely docked on the planet.
All five soldiers, plus Vegeta stood at the door, waiting just a few seconds while it decompressed. Then, the door opened.
Outside was a mass of soldiers, all clad in their finest Saiyan armor.
Each one armed with laser weapons and pointed at the occupants of this ship.
Drais stepped forward, smiling as he spotted Vegeta. "Well, so….this is the King, huh?" He joked. "Welcome, King…..….this is the end of the road for you….as well as your traitorous allies."
There was a series of explosions and gray smoke filled the area.

"So, that's it." Bulma said as she zoomed in on the atmosphere of the planet. She sat there silently as Vegeta's ship had landed. The planet was hundreds of thousands of miles away; a much smaller planet than Earth, but the oxygen level was similar.
She heard the door open behind her. "Mom?" Trunks walked in. He knew instantly by the screen what she was doing. "That's the planet, huh." He said. "I never realized that planet had any life forms on it."
"It's not one that the Corporation has ever given much concern to, being it is so small and all." Bulma said. "I guess I could run some demographics just to see what kind of atmosphere it has."
Trunks smiled. "Sure. You do that, Mom." He said. "After all, we need to know how to pack when we go join dad."
Bulma's heart stopped. "What did you say?" She asked.
"You heard me. I know it's only a matter of time before we go and join dad." Trunks sighed. "We can't live without him….I miss him so bad already and he's only been gone a few hours."
Bulma smiled. "Well, we could visit I guess." She grabbed her son's hand. "Let him stew for a while first."
Bulma set the computer query's to run a complete test of the planet and it's solar system. It was only a few minutes later that she noticed the strange surge in power levels. "Trunks…." She said, bringing the planet in as close as she could. Still, all she could see was the surface. "There is an extreme rush in power in this area." She pointed. "I wonder what's going on?"
Trunks smiled. "Dad probably went Super just to show off." He replied. "Why don't you just send a message and ask if we can come visit tomorrow. I think Bra would like that."
"Wonderful." Bulma said. "Vegeta will be so excited!"
