Disclaimer: I don't own DBZ, what would I want with a cartoon show anyway? True, I might have tons of money by now, but what would be the fun in that? I like writing stories about cartoons more than I like watching them.

Chapter One: Clueless…

~ Chikyuu…on a pristine…beach ~

A metallic blue Dodge Ram sank into onyx sands, up to the tops of its, 36" tires, while a swamp boat gently `thunked' into the side of it. Three figures, floating lopsidedly, beached on the pristine shores.

Two more figures, and an economy sized dog, spiraled towards the ground while intermittent cries of `Mommy' could be heard.

Out of nowhere, three streaks of color shot towards the falling trio, each catching one of them.

The shortest of the three newcomers groaned beneath the dog's weight as he landed on the black sands. "Man, why do I always get stuck with the heavy ones?"

The tallest, with lavender hair, and laughing blue eyes, shook his head as he landed. "You shouldn't complain so much Krillin, it's not like you had a choice anyway. Besides, dad caught the smallest of the three."

Krillin sighed as he let the dog go then looked over at the other two. "Lucky bastard."

At the moment, the lucky bastard was trying to figure out exactly what it was he'd caught. He waited for the individual to flip back their obscenely long hair then lifted an arched eyebrow when his person turned out to be a young woman. "Hn…"

Looking up at him, she grinned then kissed him soundly on the mouth. "My hero!" Laughing at his stunned expression, she wrinkled her nose then glanced over at her friend. "Hey April, you dead?"

The other girl lifted her head from the lavender haired man's chest and nodded. "Yeah Kathi, how about you?"

"I'm alive." She looked around the whistled shrilly. "Hey Grunion, get your nose out of that truck and come here."

The monstrous dog stopped sniffing the buried truck and loped over to his owner. Skidding to a halt, he barked joyfully then gave her a sloppy doggy kiss.

"Oh man, and I washed my face before we left too."

April laughed, as she was set onto her feet then walked towards the beached swamp boat.

She was unceremoniously dumped onto the ground before she ran over to the truck her dog had been sticking his big nose into. Peeking inside, she burst out laughing then opened the door and started pulling the passengers out. "Jonny, Jason, and Jim, how nice to see you three again."

The three teens glared at her for a moment then followed her towards the three figures on the shore.

April shook her head sadly as she helped the two from their boat. "Joe and Marlie, long time no see."

Joe grinned then gave her a big bear hug before looking over at… "Kathi, you little Bizatch!"

"Shut up you little wanker." She put her head to the blonde girl's chest then rocked back on her heels. "Does anyone know CPR? I refuse to put my mouth on Arie's." When no one answered she shook her head. "Never mind, I'll do this my own way." Leaning forward, she whispered something into Arie's ear.

Arie jumped up and looked around, eyes wild. "Hey, I don't see any wolves around here."

"No, but I did wake you up without having to use CPR."

"Thank god." She walked over to her boyfriend. "You alright James?"

"I'm fine." James rubbed the back of his head and looked around as the third figure stood up. "Where are we?"

Albert growled as he looked around. "We're in hell, I was having fun laying on the beach when this freaking tsunami drags my ass here."

Joe snorted. "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the tsunami this morning."

"No, someone was having a good time and it was ruined."

Kathi snorted as well and pushed Grunion's nose away from her face. "Stop complaining Albert, you're on a beach right now."

"Yeah Albert, you're on a beach now, so why are you whining?" April shielded her eyes from the sun and looked over at the three strangers. "You know, I wonder if they can tell us where we are?"

"Kathi glanced at the three and raised an eyebrow in speculation. "I think at this moment, they are trying to figure out where we came from."

Trunks shook his head in disbelief. "There is no way they can't not know what they are."

Vegeta shrugged and shot the larger group a speculative glance. "I'm positive that if they had known what they are then we wouldn't have had to catch them, and we would probably be in one hell of a fight."

Krillin nodded then chuckled. "And you wouldn't have gotten a kiss from that girl with the huge mutt." He ducked when the short-tempered alien swung at him.

"You can't say you didn't like it father."

"I can and I will."

Trunks sighed then leapt into the air and flew towards the other group; he wasn't ready to argue with his father about something trivial.

Jonny looked up at the guy flying towards them then backed out of the way when he came down.

Kathi grinned cheerfully at the purple haired teen then turned back to April. "So…are we going to take Grunion away from here?"

The other girl sighed and studied her savior carefully. "Yeah, we don't need him sticking his nose out and getting hurt."

"Alright then." Sticking two fingers in the corners of her mouth, she took a deep breath. "Cover your ears."

The others stared at her for a second then threw themselves behind the truck, hands over their ears, and waited.

Krillin and Vegeta landed next to Trunks and watched the other people vacate the area.

Krillin blinked. "Dude…uh…what's going on?" He looked around. "And where is that giant dog?"

Trunks' eyes widened. "Oh Shit!"

Author's Notes: All right then…the story behind the dog. Grunion is huge…and when I say huge, I mean gi-normous. He's like looking at a Great Dane, except he's the size of a pony…a large pony. If you don't know what grunion are…they're tiny fish, kind of like guppies only bigger and they live in saltwater. I got the idea for the name from grunion runs. Kind of strange but the name fit him so well and Albert and Joe both agreed that the dog was such a great addition, that I never took him out of the original copy of the story. So you now know, I have four copies of this story. Anyway, I hope that helped and I'll keep up with you crazy readers, especially those of you who never review, later.
