Chapter 10
The Plan
As Takira and Seripa watched Gogeta and Vegeto train, they whispered to each other.
"Takira we have to get them to stay here so we can meet with the others," Seripa said while trying to keep her voice down.
"I know but, there's a problem," Takira said as she bit her lower lip. "They might want to follow."
"You know they can't," Seripa said as she watched Gogeta and Vegeto fight. "If they do the surprise we're planning for them will be ruined."
"I know," Takira said as she looked down. "Maybe we can tell them that we have to be alone for a while."
Gogeta and Vegeto then stopped for a break.
"Hey you guys want to get something to eat?" Vegeto said as he dropped out of SSJ and wiped the sweat from his fore head.
"No thanks I'm not hungry," Seripa said as she walked out of the room. "I'll see you later Vegeto I have something I need to do."
"OK see ya later then!" Vegeto yelled to Seripa.
"What about you Takira?" Gogeta asked as he dropped out of SSJ2. "Would you like to get something to eat?"
"I'm not hungry either," Takira said as she walked to the door. "I think I'll just go and relax at our room."
"OK if you want to," Gogeta said as he walked up to Takira and gave her a kiss good bye. After she left the room Vegeto walked over to Gogeta.
"Is it just me or were they acting a little strange?" Vegeto asked.
"Maybe," Gogeta said as he walked to the door. "Or maybe it's just the relief that we've had. It's been about a month since I killed Serene and since I've almost mastered this new SSJ form they might think it's safe to relax more."
"Maybe you're right bro," Vegeto said as he opened the door and they walked out. "But I want to get to that new SSJ form too."
"You will in time," Gogeta said. "Right now lets go eat!"
* * * * * *
As Takira entered their room, they saw Cirus and Carina waiting.
"What took you two!?" Cirus shouted. "You know we need you two to do at least some of the work so we can celebrate Gogeta and Vegeto's birthday!"
"We had a little problem getting away from them," Seripa said as she sat down.
"We don't want them to get suspicious now do we?" Takira said as she climbed up to her bed.
"We'll since you put it that way," Cirus said as he became quiet.
"Don't worry about it Cirus," Carina said with a smile. "Listen I'm going to cook the cake and Cirus will set up the decorations."
"What do we have to do?" Seripa said as she dangled her tail from the seat she was sitting in.
"You two have to keep Gogeta and Vegeto busy for the whole day tomorrow," Cirus said as he laid down on the ground.
"That's going to be hard," Takira said. "They come here a lot."
"Well I can find a way to keep them out if I'm invited," A familiar voice said from the doorway. When everyone looked, they knew their plans might be ruined.
"Vegeta why would you help us to get invited don't you have some training to do?" Takira asked as she hoped off her bed.
"I know that you're going to have a cake and I haven't had a decent tasting meal in days," Vegeta said with a grin. "I want to be invited so I can have some of that cake."
"It's the kind of cake you won't want right Cirus?" Carina said as she looked over to Cirus.
"Yea Vegeta it's going to be a meat flavored cake," Cirus said. "Now go away we have planning to do."
"Those brothers have nasty taste," Vegeta said as he walked out of the room. After everyone was sure that Vegeta was out of hearing range, they started laughing.
"Can you believe he actually believed that!?" Cirus said as he stopped laughing.
"Tea I know!" Carina said as she stopped. "How stupid can he get?"
When Takira stopped laughing, she had a curious look on her face. "Cirus, Carina, which cake did you decide on?" Takira asked as she sat down on Gogeta's bed.
"Chocolate cake," Cirus said. "We know Gogeta and Vegeto like that kind of cake at least."
"Yea chocolate cake is the best we could come up with," Carina said. "If we told Vegeta the truth the plans we've come up with would be ruined. We would have waist a months worth of time."
"Do you need anything before tomorrow?" Takira asked as she got up.
"We can use the ingredients," Cirus said as he looked at Carina. "Carina do you have a list ready?"
"Yea I have one ready," Carina said as she got up and went into the closet. "Now if I can only find it." Every one then ducked as uniforms, scouters, and other stuff came flying out of the closet. "Here it is!" Carina said as she walked out with the list. "Do you two think." As Takira and Seripa looked at the list, they realized that they might need help.
"We won't be able to get all of this with out help," Seripa said as she looked up from the list. "Do you two think you can help us?"
"No we can't. We still have supplies to get," Cirus said as he walked towards the door. "Why not try and get Vegeto and Gogeta to help. You can just say that you're getting supplies for us."
"OK but there's another problem," Takira said. "Where are we going to get the money?"
"Man I forgot that we don't have any money," Cirus said as he thought.
"How about I pay," Said another familiar voice from the door. Everyone looked up to see Bardock standing there with a smile on his face.
"Don't tell Gogeta and Vegeto about our plan please Bardock," Carina said with the cutest face she could make.
"Don't worry I'm in on your plan," Bardock said as he winked. "I was hoping I could come too. I'll help with the cake since I could use my ki to bake it quickly."
"OK but remember not to tell them," Cirus said as he walked out the door with Carina right behind him.
"Don't worry I won't," Bardock yelled so they could hear. "So Takira, Seripa shall we get the brothers?"
* * * * * *
"OK Gogeta can you get the flour?" Takira asked as she read the list.
"No problem Takira," Gogeta said as he ran down the aisle.
"Vegeto do you think you can get the chocolate frosting?" Seripa said as she read the list from over Takira's shoulder.
"Sure it shouldn't be that hard," Vegeto said as he disappeared.
"Vegeto do you know what's going on?" Gogeta asked Vegeto through telepathy.
"No I don't," Vegeto said. "Since you're asking me I guess you don't either."
"I tried reading their minds but, all I get is a blank," Gogeta said as he grabbed the flour. "It must be some kind of surprise and they don't want us to spoil it."
"You think?" Vegeto asked as he found the frosting. "All I can think about now is why we're doing this."
"Easy they asked us and we said OK," Gogeta said as he ran back to Takira.
"Well it better be worth it," Vegeto said as he returned with the frosting.
"Thanks Guys Bardock got the rest of the stuff," Takira said as Gogeta followed her to the cash register.
"Yea Bardock left the money with us," Seripa said as she paid the Sayain the money. "Now all we have to do is take all this back."
"That shouldn't take that long," Gogeta said with a smile.
"Hey I remember you!" a Sayain said as he ran up to where Gogeta was. "You were the one that cut in front of me. Well it's pay back time!"
"Takira, Seripa, Vegeto you guys go I'll take care of this," Gogeta said as he faced the Sayain.
"OK bro," Vegeto said as he carried the supplies. "Come on girls lets get back." Takira, Seripa, and Vegeto then left leaving Gogeta with the Sayain.
"You made a stupid mistake," the Sayain said as he whistled. After he stopped, two more Sayains came running over. "Now you're out numbered."
"Not from the way I see it," Gogeta said with a smile. "Did you hear about Serene's death?"
"Yea. What does that have to do about me getting revenge on you?" the Sayain said as his tail hung limp.
"Do you even know the name of the Sayain that killed him?" Gogeta said as he started stretching.
"Yea his name was Gogeta," the Sayain on the right as he powered up. "What about him? You know him or something?"
"I don't only know him. I am him," Gogeta said as he got into a fighting stance.
"No way!" all three Sayains said as their eyes opened wide.
"Yea I'm the one that killed him," Gogeta said with a glint in his right eye. "Now it's up to you we can either fight and you can hope you live or we can talk this over."
"He bluffing," the Sayain on the left said. "If he really did have that power he wouldn't want to talk this over. Let's kill him."
"You're right," said the Sayain. "Lets see if you really are the Gogeta that we've heard about. If you manage to beat us we'll leave you alone but if you can't prepare to die."
As the three Sayains powered up Gogeta just smiled as he realized they were weaker than he thought. When they finished they surrounded Gogeta and dashed in to attack. When they were about to hit Gogeta, Gogeta sent out an energy wave stopping them in their tracks. Gogeta then shot a ki blast at each one of them making them fly in different directions until they hit either a wall or the ground.
"Now that I practically massacred you guys I can trust that I won't be seeing you again," Gogeta said as he turned around and walked away.

As Gogeta and Vegeto trained, Takira and Seripa went to give Cirus and Carina the supplies they gathered.
"Did you guys have any trouble getting them to help you two," Cirus said as he tried to hide some of the birthday stuff in the closet.
"Not really," Takira said. "They weren't ever curious about the supplies we gathered."
"You've got to be kidding us Takira," Carina said as she let her tail dangle from the side of her bed.
"We're not kidding Carina," Seripa said as she picked up a bag of flour. "They might have been trying to read our minds though. Takira had suggested that we try and think of some thing else though since they could only find out what we're thinking of."
"Well I hope you two can keep that up until you return tomorrow," Carina said. "But until they get back I think we should try and get these supplies to the kitchen. Bardock pulled a few strings so we can use the good kitchen instead of the tiny kitchen we have that doesn't have the tools that are required."
"Bardock is really nice," Cirus said as he came out of the closet. "He tries to help us out all the time."
"Yea tell me about it," Takira said. "Wait a second. I think some ones coming."
"How can you tell Takira?" Carina asked as she hopped down her bed.
"Gogeta's been teaching me how to sense ki," Takira said. "Right now I think I sense some one coming. It isn't Gogeta or Vegeto so it either has to be Vegeta or Bardock so lets get to work with hiding this stuff just incase it's Vegeta."
Carina, Seripa, Cirus and Takira then started hiding all the supplies under the beds and then they got to their beds to look like they weren't doing anything. When the door opened, they heard a voice they hadn't heard in a long time.
"Do you kids need help moving all the stuff to the kitchen or have you finished already?" Orion asked as he came into the room.
"Yes please Mister Orion," Carina said as she jumped down from her bed and pulled a few bags of flour out.
"Mister Orion I want to know one thing," Cirus said as he got off his bed. "We see the Clanning instructors every time we're in a fight. Why don't we see you though?"
"See Cirus Clanning instructors are only around when they feel the clan needs their help," Orion said as he picked up two bags of flour. "When a Clan is so good that they don't lose very often they instructors get to either relax or do what ever they want. It wasn't like this back in my day but the rules have changed. See when a Sayain killed another Sayain in Clanning they would be disqualified. Now these days you can kill and keep on going."
"I see," Cirus said as he picked up seven cans of chocolate frosting. "I need to know though, did you think we would win against Serene's Clan?"
"I knew if you all worked as a team you could," Orion said as he walked to the kitchen followed by everyone. "See I noticed that Gogeta was trying to be your friends and helped all of you. He keeps trying to be Vegeta's friend but, Vegeta only thinks power is important when a true worrier knows that they need friends and power because power will only take them so far before they destroy themselves just like Brolli did."
"So the reason Brolli was destroyed by his own power was because he had no friends?" Cirus asked as he put the Chocolate frosting in the refrigerator.
"No one knows how he destroyed himself," Orion said as he put the two bags of flour on the counter. "They just say that his power became to much for him and he killed himself because of that."
"Well thanks to you we only had to make one trip," Carina said. "Thank you for helping us."
"It wasn't a problem really," Orion said as he walked out of the kitchen. "Just tell me if you need any help."
As soon as Orion left Carina, Cirus, Seripa, and Takira left the kitchen to go to their room since it was late and they would need the sleep. When they got to their room, they saw Gogeta and Vegeto in bed already asleep.
"Quiet or else we'll wake them up," Seripa whispered as she slowly climbed up to her bed.
"Remember you two have to keep them busy tomorrow," Carina whispered as she climbed up to her bed and laid down.
"They'll be able to keep them away long enough for us to finish preparing," Cirus whispered as he got into bed.
As Takira looked at her and Gogeta's bunk, she thought about how much easier it was to sleep with Gogeta next to her. 'Should I sleep next to him or should I sleep in my bed tonight?' Takira thought. 'I'm sure Gogeta wouldn't mind even though I don't need him to protect me anymore.' Takira then grabbed her blanket from the top of the bunk bed and laid down next to Gogeta in his bed. She then looked at Gogeta with a smile on her face. "I love you Gogeta with all my heart and soul," Takira whispered as she kissed him on the forehead. "If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be alive. I wish there was a way I could thank you for all you have done for me. I know you can't hear any thing I'm saying but, I thank you."
"Guess again Takira," Gogeta said as he opened his eyes surprising Takira. "I was having a hard time sleeping. You should know that you don't owe me any thing because I love you with all my heart and soul too." Gogeta then leaned over and gave Takira a kiss on the lips. Takira didn't know what to say. She was not only surprised about Gogeta being awake but she didn't know that he didn't inspect any thing from her except for her to be happy.
"Gogeta…" Takira started. "I just want us to be together forever."
"I want that too Takira," Gogeta said. "Right now though I think we should get some sleep. Something tells me we're going to have a busy day tomorrow."
"OK Gogeta, I'll get some sleep," Takira said as she kissed Gogeta one more time and fell asleep.

As soon as Orion left Carina, Cirus, Seripa, and Takira left the kitchen to go to their room since it was late and they would need the sleep. When they got to their room, they saw Gogeta and Vegeto in bed already asleep.
"Quiet or else we'll wake them up," Seripa whispered as she slowly climbed up to her bed.
"Remember you two have to keep them busy tomorrow," Carina whispered as she climbed up to her bed and laid down.
"They'll be able to keep them away long enough for us to finish preparing," Cirus whispered as he got into bed.
As Takira looked at her and Gogeta's bunk, she thought about how much easier it was to sleep with Gogeta next to her. 'Should I sleep next to him or should I sleep in my bed tonight?' Takira thought. 'I'm sure Gogeta wouldn't mind even though I don't need him to protect me anymore.' Takira then grabbed her blanket from the top of the bunk bed and laid down next to Gogeta in his bed. She then looked at Gogeta with a smile on her face. "I love you Gogeta with all my heart and soul," Takira whispered as she kissed him on the forehead. "If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be alive. I wish there was a way I could thank you for all you have done for me. I know you can't hear any thing I'm saying but, I thank you."
"Guess again Takira," Gogeta said as he opened his eyes surprising Takira. "I was having a hard time sleeping. You should know that you don't owe me any thing because I love you with all my heart and soul too." Gogeta then leaned over and gave Takira a kiss on the lips. Takira didn't know what to say. She was not only surprised about Gogeta being awake but she didn't know that he didn't inspect any thing from her except for her to be happy.
"Gogeta…" Takira started. "I just want us to be together forever."
"I want that too Takira," Gogeta said. "Right now though I think we should get some sleep. Something tells me we're going to have a busy day tomorrow."
"OK Gogeta, I'll get some sleep," Takira said as she kissed Gogeta one more time and fell asleep.
