Chapter 9
Gogeta's ascension
As Vegeto powered up Serene laughed at him.
"Do you think you can actually beat me?" Serene said as he powered up.
"No but I can try!" Vegeto yelled as he leaped forward with his fist back. As Vegeto was about to punch Serene in the face, Serene had thrown a blast into his stomach. Vegeto flew back as he gathered energy. As he was about to release the energy how ever, Serene had thrown 12 blasts into Vegeto's face and kicked him across the room where he hit the wall. Serene then threw ring like blasts that trapped Vegeto on the wall like chains.
"You're pathetic," Serene said as he powered up a ki blast. "I thought you were a SSJ, instead you're a super weakling."
Vegeto then yelled in anger as he broke the rings as Serene fired the blast. Once it was about to hit Vegeto, Vegeto ducked and it hit the wall causing the whole place to shake. Vegeto then ran at Serene as he prepared all his power for one attack.
'I know I'm no match for him now,' Vegeto thought to himself. 'All I can do is try to soften him up with the rest of my power. I hope my bro can finish him after this or this will be our last fight while we're alive'. As Vegeto charged Serene disappeared. When he saw that Serene was gone he turned around and fired the energy. "Final Flash!" Vegeto yelled as he released the golden blast. When Serene reappeared his eyes widened as the blast came towards him. He crossed his arms hoping that would help him take the blast on as it full on hit him to the ground. As soon as Vegeto's blast exploded dust filled the room, the force of the explosion sending Vegeto back.
"Did Vegeto kill Serene?" Cirus asked as he looked at where Vegeto's blast went.
"I think he did," Carina said as she backed away. "But I don't think we should be near the dust cloud."
"Bro he's still alive," Vegeto said as hehit the ground. "You'll need to take care of him since I used the rest of my energy in that attack."
As Gogeta got up Seripa ran over to Vegeto to try to get him A safe distance away from the cloud of dust. "Vegeto rest for now," Gogeta said as he got up. "I'll finish off Serene."
"Thanks bro," Vegeto said as he passed out from lack of energy.
As Gogeta started walking over to the cloud of dust, he heard laughter. "I must admit your brothers attack caught me off guard but it won't do any help for you Gogeta," Serene said as he walked out of the cloud of dust.
"You're not going to leave here alive Serene," Gogeta said as he got into a fighting stance. "In fact you aren't going to leave here at all since I'll destroy every part of your body getting rid of your evil forever."
"I don't think so since I'm more powerful than you!" Serene yelled with an evil grin on his face. "See I've ascended. I have the ability to gain more power than I have now so you never stood a chance even when we began fighting."
"We'll see about that Serene," Gogeta said as a smile appeared on his face. "I bet you're bluffing about this power."
"I don't bluff," Serene said as he started powering up. His muscles began to grow as his power rapidly grew. After he was done, he started laughing. "See my powers gone up at least three times than your so called power."
As Gogeta sensed Serene's power his eyes widened. 'He's right!' Gogeta thought. 'His power has grown to that of three times my own power. I better be careful.' As Gogeta finished his thought, he realized Serene had already started round two with a fist in Gogeta's face. As Gogeta flew across the room Serene gathered energy into one had and made a huge ki ball.
"Crusher Ball!" Serene yelled as he punched straight at Gogeta. As Gogeta looked up, he saw the blast coming at him with tremendous speed.
'I can't dodge it!' Gogeta thought. 'I only have one chance I just hope this new move works the way I made it to.' Gogeta crossed his arms in front of his chest as the ball came towards him. "Choroniki Shield!" Gogeta yelled, as the blast was about to hit him. As the blast was about to hit him it stopped.
"What in the world?!" Serene yelled as he looked at his blast. As Gogeta closed his eyes, the blast slowly started to get absorbed into him.
"This is a new trick of mine," Gogeta said as the blast disappeared. "It allows me to stop ki attacks and absorb them. I could even absorb them right away if I wanted to without stopping them."
"I see," Serene said with his evil smile. "It won't make a difference I'll just pound you to death then destroy your body right after."
Serene then charged right at Gogeta. 'Man even with those big muscles he still moves way to fast for me to hit him!' Gogeta thought as he tried to dodge Serene's punch but couldn't. After the punch Serene rapidly punched and kicked Gogeta into the wall.
"Don't tell me you thought you could win," Serene said as he stopped. "Like I said you never stood a chance against me."
As Serene pulled back his fist for one last punch, a blast hit the back of his head. "Who did that!" Serene yelled as he turned around. He then saw where the blast came from.
"I won't allow you to kill Gogeta," Takira said with her arms still out. "If you're going to kill him you'll have to kill me first."
"I was going to finish all of you guys after Gogeta but I've had a change of heart because of you," Serene said as his attention was directed to everyone except Gogeta. I think I'll kill you all in front of Gogeta to further his agony."
"No you won't!" Gogeta yelled as his blood slowly fell to the floor. "I'll kill you before you have the chance."
As Carina, Takira, Seripa, and Cirus got into fighting stance Serene fully turned around. "Don't you make me laugh," Serene said as his power went up even more. "Gogeta can't fight anymore, Vegeto's knocked out, and all of you are way to weak to even give me a decent work out."
"That might be true but, we won't give up!" Cirus yelled as he got ready to fight.
"We've fought in more life threatening fights than this one," Carina said as she got next to Cirus.
"After all we've been together for to long," Seripa said as she got a few blasts ready. "So I suggest you give up."
"You won't win Serene," Takira said as she got ready for anything Serene would do. "We're all to good of friends now to let each other fight alone so you might as well give up before we all attack."
"That's all very touching and all but you weaklings are the ones that don't stand a chance," Serene said as he charged at Cirus and Carina. As Serene threw the first kick he knocked the wind out of Cirus and Carina threw a blast at Serene's face. Serene ignored it as he hit Carina up into the ceiling. Seripa then threw the blasts she had at Serene. Serene just deflected them with one hand and then a blast through Seripa making her fall to the ground unconscious. Serene's attention then went to Takira. All Takira could do was look in fear as all of her friends were down on the ground.
"Now it's your turn," Serene said with the same evil smile from the beginning of the match.
"Stop this Serene!" Gogeta yelled as his anger built up. "Stop this now before it's to late!"
"To late? What do you mean?" Serene asked as he powered up his Crusher Ball. "After all I just won!" Serene then punched the Crusher at Takira.
"Gogeta I love you!" Takira yelled as the blast headed towards her. As the blast was a few feet away from her, it exploded sending up a cloud of dust.
"Now all that's left is to kill the rest of your friends then it's all over," Serene said as he turned where Gogeta was. After he looked, he was sent to a state of total shock since Gogeta was no longer in the wall. "Where did you go Gogeta! You can't hide from me!"
"I'm right here," Gogeta said from inside the cloud of dust. Serene then turned around as dust cloud disappeared. He then looked in both shock and fear at what he saw. Not only did Gogeta save Takira from the Crusher Ball but his muscles had also expanded and his hair was a little longer. Electricity then went over his body.
As Takira looked at Gogeta, she hugged him. "Thanks Gogeta but how did you manage to take the Crusher Ball Serene threw?" Takira asked as she held on to Gogeta.
"I ascended," Gogeta said as his golden aura grew. "I've gone the second level of SSJ and I know that Serene found a level that gives him power but takes away speed."
"You still can't win Gogeta!" Serene yelled as his muscles bulged up to their max making Serene look like a giant.
"Takira let go," Gogeta said as he looked at Serene. "It's time for me to finish this fight."
"OK Gogeta," Takira said as she let go. "But don't get hurt OK?"
"OK Takira," Gogeta said as he turned around and faced he. "I also have one last thing to say to you before I fight Serene. I love you too." As Gogeta turned, his aura grew bigger. "Serene, your evil ends here and now."
"Nothing ends here," Serene said in an angered voice. "If anything ends here it will be your life. You're nothing but a gnat compared to me."
"Then this gnat is going to kill you," Gogeta said in a deathly cold voice. After hearing Gogeta say that, Serene charged Gogeta at full speed. As soon as Serene threw a punch though Gogeta was gone.
"Over here Serene," Gogeta said from behind him. Serene tried to punch Gogeta again but this time Gogeta caught his fist. "Like I said before I'm going to kill you."
"You're a low class Sayain compared to me!" Serene yelled in rage. "I can't be killed by a weakling like you!" Serene then tried to kick Gogeta but Gogeta blocked the kick and punched Serene in the face sending him flying across the room. As soon as Serene hit the steel wall and fell to the ground, he saw Vegeto's unconscious body. 'Maybe I can use his brother to my advantage,' Serene thought as he picked up Vegeto with his right hand. "Give up Gogeta or your brother dies." Before Serene could react, Gogeta appeared next to him, broke Serene's hand making him drop Vegeto, and then broke Serene's arm. Serene screamed in pain as Gogeta picked up Vegeto and moved him to the other side of the room.
"Takira make sure everyone's OK," Gogeta said as he turned towards Serene. "I'll finish off Serene."
"OK Gogeta," Takira said as she gathered everyone together.
'How can this be happening?' Serene thought as he held his arm. 'I was winning until I threw the second Crusher Ball then….' Serene's thoughts were interrupted though as Gogeta threw a punch into Serene's stomach making him cough up blood. Gogeta then sent an uppercut into Serene's jaw making him fly up to the ceiling. As Serene was about to hit the ceiling though, he used his ki to stop himself. "That's it!" Serene yelled in an angry rage. "I'm going to finish you all off with one last giant Crusher Ball that not even Gogeta can stop!" Serene's aura then flared as he gathered energy for the attack. All Gogeta did though was take his index and middle finger and put them to his forehead.
'I hope Gogeta can beat Serene,' Takira thought as she was checking on Seripa. 'Oh no! Seripa won't last much longer!' Takira then looked at where Gogeta was. "Gogeta! Seripa won't last much longer unless we do something soon!" Takira yelled so Gogeta could here since Serene made a lot of noise as he powered up.
"Don't worry I'll kill serene and as soon as he's dead we'll get her to the Regeneration Tanks," Gogeta yelled back as he finished gathering energy.
"Crusher Ball!" Serene yelled as he threw a huge Crusher Ball at everyone. As soon as Gogeta saw this he planted his feet into the ground.
"Mega Beam Cannon fire!!!" Gogeta yelled as he released the green beam into the Crusher ball. When the two attacks hits they stopped for a while. Then Gogeta's Mega Beam Cannon got the better of Serene's Crusher Ball and went straight through it. After the Crusher Ball was destroyed, Gogeta's Mega Beam Cannon then went through Serene as it exploded. After the explosion only ashes came down.
"Is Serene dead?" Takira asked as she shook from seeing two extremely powerful blasts.
"The ashes are what's left of Serene," Gogeta said as he turned towards the door and held up one hand. "Now it's time to unseal this door." Gogeta then threw a blast at the door which practically destroyed it. After that he dropped out of SSJ2 and picked up Cirus, Vegeta, and Vegeto. "Lets get these guys in the Regeneration Tanks quickly!" As Gogeta ran out Takira followed while carrying Seripa and Carina. As soon as they got to the room Takira and Gogeta put Cirus, Vegeto, Seripa, and Carina into Regeneration Tanks. "Since you knocked out Vegeta he doesn't need a Regeneration Tank. Now we can finally relax since Serene is dead," Gogeta said with a smile on his face.
"Yea I know what you mean," Takira said as she sat down on the floor. "Now maybe everyone can get some sleep during the nights."
Gogeta then saw a poster about the tournament on the wall and walked over to it. When he was finished though his smile disappeared. "Man this is great now I can't enter the tournament for another full year!" Gogeta said as he turned around.
"Why can't you enter the tournament this year?" Takira asked as she got up and walked over to Gogeta.
"Because it says that the Sayains that are still in clanning can't enter until they are out of clanning," Gogeta said as he pointed to where the poster said that.
"Well at least look on the good side you get more time to train," Takira said trying to cheer up Gogeta.
"I guess you're right," Gogeta said as he sighed. "I could also try and master this new SSJ form."
As Gogeta was about to suggest to get something to eat, three Sayains came in. "What happened in your clanning match?" the Sayain in the middle asked.
"Serene went out of control," Takira said.
"Who beat Serene?" the Sayain on the right asked.
"I killed Serene," Gogeta said as he walked away from the poster. "He tried to kill everyone. I couldn't allow him to do that."
"You know that you killed a SSJ right?" all the Sayains said at the same time.
"Really?" Gogeta said as if he didn't know. "Well he was too weak to be a SSJ."
"You're kidding right!? " the one on the left said in shock that some one would talk about Serene like that.
"No I tortured him before killing him," Gogeta said as he laid back on a wall. "Now unless you want the same thing to happen to you I suggest you leave."
The three Sayains that came in ran away after Gogeta said that since they didn't want to die. Then Takira heard a sound and looked at Seripa's Regeneration Tank.
"That isn't good!" Gogeta said as he frantically pushed buttons.
"What's going on Gogeta?" Takira asked as she backed away a little. "Is there something wrong with Seripa's Regeneration Tank?"
"Seripa's lost to much blood!" Gogeta said in a panic. "Unless if we can do a blood transfusion she won't get out of the tank alive!"
"What can we do?" Takira asked as she started to panic. "We don't have her blood type!"
Takira and Gogeta then heard an explosion behind them. "I have her blood type so she can take my blood," said a familiar voice from behind them. As soon as they turned around they saw Vegeto still wet from the Regeneration Tank.
"OK quickly put this into your arm," Gogeta said as he handed Vegeto a needle. Vegeto then stuck the needle into his arm and Gogeta pushed a few buttons. Then a needle inside the Regeneration Tank came out of a little compartment and placed itself into Seripa's arm. When the blood transfusion began Vegeto took a chair and sat down. "How did you get out of the Regeneration Tank anyway?"
"I blasted my way out," Vegeto said as he relaxed. "I'm still a little weak but, I'm OK. What happened to Serene?"
"I killed him," Gogeta said as he relaxed from the Regeneration Tank incident. "The thing is I found out that there's another form of SSJ."
"Another level!?" Vegeto said with a look of shock on his face. "What do you mean by that!?"
"I mean this," Gogeta said as he went SSJ. His hair then became longer and his muscles grew just like before.
"Wow! That's a lot of power!" Vegeto said as his eyes widened.
"Yea I know," Gogeta said as he dropped out of SSJ2. "Right now I'm going to get some food. Do you want me to bring you back some food?"
"Sure as long as you bring at least nine trays full of meat," Vegeto said as he looked into the Regeneration Tank.
"OK I'll be right back," Gogeta said as he headed for the door.
"Wait up Gogeta I'm coming with you," Takira said as she caught up to Gogeta. They then walked out the door together leaving Vegeto in the room.
"Maybe there's a way I can talk to Seripa," Vegeto said while thinking out load. He then checked the buttons on the Regeneration Tank and found a button that he was curious about. 'It says Telepathy Enhancer. Does that mean it enhances the telepathic ability?' Vegeto then pushed the button and the Regeneration Tank made a sound. 'Maybe I should try talking to her through telepathy now.'
Vegeto hesitated a little as he closed his eyes and started concentrating. "Seripa can you here me?" Vegeto asked through telepathy.
"Vegeto is that you?" Seripa asked. "Why am I in so much pain right now?"
"Every things going to be OK," Vegeto said. "Serene is dead. Right now you're in a Regeneration Tank and I'm giving you a blood transfusion."
"A blood transfusion!?" Seripa said confused and scared. "What happened to me Vegeto!?"
"From what I know is you attacked Serene and he shot a huge hole through you," Vegeto said. "I'm going to stay by your side until you're better."
"Thank you Vegeto," Seripa said. "I love you."
"I love you to Seripa," Vegeto said. "Right now I think we should rest. We can have fun tomorrow since Serene's dead. Now we can finally sleep peacefully."

Serene then tried to kick Gogeta but Gogeta blocked the kick and punched Serene in the face sending him flying across the room. As soon as Serene hit the steel wall and fell to the ground, he saw Vegeto's unconscious body. 'Maybe I can use his brother to my advantage,' Serene thought as he picked up Vegeto with his right hand. "Give up Gogeta or your brother dies." Before Serene could react, Gogeta appeared next to him, broke Serene's hand making him drop Vegeto, and then broke Serene's arm. Serene screamed in pain as Gogeta picked up Vegeto and moved him to the other side of the room.
"Takira make sure everyone's OK," Gogeta said as he turned towards Serene. "I'll finish off Serene."
"OK Gogeta," Takira said as she gathered everyone together.
'How can this be happening?' Serene thought as he held his arm. 'I was winning until I threw the second Crusher Ball then….' Serene's thoughts were interrupted though as Gogeta threw a punch into Serene's stomach making him cough up blood. Gogeta then sent an uppercut into Serene's jaw making him fly up to the ceiling. As Serene was about to hit the ceiling though, he used his ki to stop himself. "That's it!" Serene yelled in an angry rage. "I'm going to finish you all off with one last giant Crusher Ball that not even Gogeta can stop!" Serene's aura then flared as he gathered energy for the attack. All Gogeta did though was take his index and middle finger and put them to his forehead.
'I hope Gogeta can beat Serene,' Takira thought as she was checking on Seripa. 'Oh no! Seripa won't last much longer!' Takira then looked at where Gogeta was. "Gogeta! Seripa won't last much longer unless we do something soon!" Takira yelled so Gogeta could here since Serene made a lot of noise as he powered up.
"Don't worry I'll kill serene and as soon as he's dead we'll get her to the Regeneration Tanks," Gogeta yelled back as he finished gathering energy.
"Crusher Ball!" Serene yelled as he threw a huge Crusher Ball at everyone. As soon as Gogeta saw this he planted his feet into the ground.
"Mega Beam Cannon fire!!!" Gogeta yelled as he released the green beam into the Crusher ball. When the two attacks hits they stopped for a while. Then Gogeta's Mega Beam Cannon got the better of Serene's Crusher Ball and went straight through it. After the Crusher Ball was destroyed, Gogeta's Mega Beam Cannon then went through Serene as it exploded. After the explosion only ashes came down.
"Is Serene dead?" Takira asked as she shook from seeing two extremely powerful blasts.
"The ashes are what's left of Serene," Gogeta said as he turned towards the door and held up one hand. "Now it's time to unseal this door." Gogeta then threw a blast at the door which practically destroyed it. After that he dropped out of SSJ2 and picked up Cirus, Vegeta, and Vegeto. "Lets get these guys in the Regeneration Tanks quickly!" As Gogeta ran out Takira followed while carrying Seripa and Carina. As soon as they got to the room Takira and Gogeta put Cirus, Vegeto, Seripa, and Carina into Regeneration Tanks. "Since you knocked out Vegeta he doesn't need a Regeneration Tank. Now we can finally relax since Serene is dead," Gogeta said with a smile on his face.
"Yea I know what you mean," Takira said as she sat down on the floor. "Now maybe everyone can get some sleep during the nights."
Gogeta then saw a poster about the tournament on the wall and walked over to it. When he was finished though his smile disappeared. "Man this is great now I can't enter the tournament for another full year!" Gogeta said as he turned around.
"Why can't you enter the tournament this year?" Takira asked as she got up and walked over to Gogeta.
"Because it says that the Sayains that are still in clanning can't enter until they are out of clanning," Gogeta said as he pointed to where the poster said that.
"Well at least look on the good side you get more time to train," Takira said trying to cheer up Gogeta.
"I guess you're right," Gogeta said as he sighed. "I could also try and master this new SSJ form."
As Gogeta was about to suggest to get something to eat, three Sayains came in. "What happened in your clanning match?" the Sayain in the middle asked.
"Serene went out of control," Takira said.
"Who beat Serene?" the Sayain on the right asked.
"I killed Serene," Gogeta said as he walked away from the poster. "He tried to kill everyone. I couldn't allow him to do that."
"You know that you killed a SSJ right?" all the Sayains said at the same time.
"Really?" Gogeta said as if he didn't know. "Well he was too weak to be a SSJ."
"You're kidding right!? " the one on the left said in shock that some one would talk about Serene like that.
"No I tortured him before killing him," Gogeta said as he laid back on a wall. "Now unless you want the same thing to happen to you I suggest you leave."
The three Sayains that came in ran away after Gogeta said that since they didn't want to die. Then Takira heard a sound and looked at Seripa's Regeneration Tank.
"That isn't good!" Gogeta said as he frantically pushed buttons.
"What's going on Gogeta?" Takira asked as she backed away a little. "Is there something wrong with Seripa's Regeneration Tank?"
"Seripa's lost to much blood!" Gogeta said in a panic. "Unless if we can do a blood transfusion she won't get out of the tank alive!"
"What can we do?" Takira asked as she started to panic. "We don't have her blood type!"
Takira and Gogeta then heard an explosion behind them. "I have her blood type so she can take my blood," said a familiar voice from behind them. As soon as they turned around they saw Vegeto still wet from the Regeneration Tank.
"OK quickly put this into your arm," Gogeta said as he handed Vegeto a needle. Vegeto then stuck the needle into his arm and Gogeta pushed a few buttons. Then a needle inside the Regeneration Tank came out of a little compartment and placed itself into Seripa's arm. When the blood transfusion began Vegeto took a chair and sat down. "How did you get out of the Regeneration Tank anyway?"
"I blasted my way out," Vegeto said as he relaxed. "I'm still a little weak but, I'm OK. What happened to Serene?"
"I killed him," Gogeta said as he relaxed from the Regeneration Tank incident. "The thing is I found out that there's another form of SSJ."
"Another level!?" Vegeto said with a look of shock on his face. "What do you mean by that!?"
"I mean this," Gogeta said as he went SSJ. His hair then became longer and his muscles grew just like before.
"Wow! That's a lot of power!" Vegeto said as his eyes widened.
"Yea I know," Gogeta said as he dropped out of SSJ2. "Right now I'm going to get some food. Do you want me to bring you back some food?"
"Sure as long as you bring at least nine trays full of meat," Vegeto said as he looked into the Regeneration Tank.
"OK I'll be right back," Gogeta said as he headed for the door.
"Wait up Gogeta I'm coming with you," Takira said as she caught up to Gogeta. They then walked out the door together leaving Vegeto in the room.
"Maybe there's a way I can talk to Seripa," Vegeto said while thinking out load. He then checked the buttons on the Regeneration Tank and found a button that he was curious about. 'It says Telepathy Enhancer. Does that mean it enhances the telepathic ability?' Vegeto then pushed the button and the Regeneration Tank made a sound. 'Maybe I should try talking to her through telepathy now.'
Vegeto hesitated a little as he closed his eyes and started concentrating. "Seripa can you here me?" Vegeto asked through telepathy.
"Vegeto is that you?" Seripa asked. "Why am I in so much pain right now?"
"Every things going to be OK," Vegeto said. "Serene is dead. Right now you're in a Regeneration Tank and I'm giving you a blood transfusion."
"A blood transfusion!?" Seripa said confused and scared. "What happened to me Vegeto!?"
"From what I know is you attacked Serene and he shot a huge hole through you," Vegeto said. "I'm going to stay by your side until you're better."
"Thank you Vegeto," Seripa said. "I love you."
"I love you to Seripa," Vegeto said. "Right now I think we should rest. We can have fun tomorrow since Serene's dead. Now we can finally sleep peacefully."
