Chapter 8
Serene goes SSJ?
Gogeta was breathing hard. He and Vegeto had been training all week and their clan was one of the best. They had trained the others so almost everyone was equal. The only one that didn't except the training was Vegeta. As Gogeta powered up for another attack, Vegeto powered up preparing himself for the attack. Gogeta then sped towards Vegeto with energy gathering into his hand. Vegeto shot a few ki blasts at Gogeta. Gogeta though had inspected the blasts and disappeared. When Gogeta was no where to be found Vegeto started throwing blasts behind him inspecting Gogeta would reappear there. Gogeta then reappeared above Vegeto with a smile on his face and fully powered up.
"I'm up here!" Gogeta yelled. "Lighting Bomb!"
After Gogeta yelled, the room was filled with a bright light. Gogeta then threw a huge blast sending Vegeto into the wall of the room. Vegeto barley got up and put the rest of his energy into one blast.
"Final Flash!" Vegeto yelled as he let the golden beam out hitting Gogeta full on.
Gogeta dropped out of SSJ and managed to pull out the little cube. After he ate it Vegeto ate one and they went to their quarters to get new uniforms. As Gogeta and Vegeto walked towards their quarters, they wondered if Serene knew how to hide his power. Once Gogeta and Vegeto reached their quarters and went inside though everyone had worried looks on their faces.
"What's wrong guys?" Gogeta asked as he walked over to Takira's bed.
"Our clans going to fight Serene's clan tomorrow," Takira said as she looked down at Gogeta from her bed.
"Don't worry," Vegeto said with a smile. "Gogeta can beat him, That is if I don't get to him first."
"Vegeto this isn't some kind of game," Gogeta said to Vegeto with an angry look on his face. "Serene might be able to hide his power."
"Yea whatever," Vegeto said as he jumped up to his bed and laid down. "I'm going to get some sleep."
"Do what ever you want," Gogeta said as he flew up to Takira's bunk. "But remember. We can't underestimate Serene."
"Gogeta I think we should all start sleeping right now," Cirus said as he sat up in his bed. "I think it's for the best that we get some rest for tomorrow."
"You're right Cirus," Gogeta said looking at Cirus. "We all should try and rest up before tomorrow."
As everyone got in bed, they thought how the battle tomorrow would be.

As Gogeta looked in the distance, he saw Serene. Serene's hands were stained with blood and he was laughing.
"This blood used to belong to all your friends blood until I tore them apart," Serene said with an evil smile.
"You're lying!" Gogeta yelled as his rage rose.
"I don't lie you third class Sayain," Serene said as he went SSJ. Gogeta didn't notice though as he went SSJ. As his rage rose, Serene lifted two more Sayains in front of him.
"No! Takira! Vegeto! Wake up!" Gogeta yelled. However, as he yelled Serene broke Vegeto's neck.
"Oops! I guess I don't know my own strength," Serene said while trying to hold in laughter. "Now for the girl."
"You wouldn't dare hurt Takira!" Gogeta yelled with tears in his eyes. Serene just laughed as he threw Takira's body in the air and shot a ki blast through Takira's heart. As her dead body fell Gogeta screamed in anger and charged Serene head on as his tears fell out his eyes. As Gogeta was about to hit him though, he heard a voice.
"Gogeta. Gogeta wake up," Takira said as she shook him. Gogeta's eyes then shot open and he stood up quickly.
"Where's Serene!?" Gogeta said as he looked around.
"Don't worry Gogeta," Takira said. "It was only a dream. Serene isn't here."
"That wasn't any dream," Gogeta said as he laid back down. "That was a nightmare."
"What was it about?" Takira asked with a worried look on her face.
"Serene had killed everyone," Gogeta said as he tried to forget but couldn't. "Then he broke Vegeto's neck. After Vegeto he killed you with a ki blast through the heart." After hearing that Takira's face turned a pail white.
"That's not good," Takira said as she laid down in the bed still looking at Gogeta. "Dreams can be predictions of the future sometimes."
"I know but there was something weird about it," Gogeta said. "I was in SSJ but I felt like I was gaining more power than I ever had before. I can't really explain it."
"Sounds strange," Takira said as she pulled her blanket of her. "We'll figure that out later though. Right now we should get some sleep."
"You're right," Gogeta said as he yawned. "Good night Takira."
"Good night Gogeta," Takira said as they kissed each other good night and went to sleep.
* * * * * *
"Bro hurry up!" Vegeto yelled. "We'll be late if you take any longer!"
"No we won't," Gogeta said in a clam tone. "We'll be on time."
"What ever I'll meet you in the arena," Vegeto said as he ran towards the arena.
As Gogeta got out of the closet, he straightened his armor. "I hope this new armor is better than the regular armor," Gogeta said while thinking out load.
"Gogeta lets get going," Takira said from her bed as she hoped down.
"OK but I have one question," Gogeta said as he walked over to Takira. "Do you think you can knock out Vegeta if Serene starts to go SSJ."
"Yea I can," Takira said while walking out of the room. "But that's only if Serene's a SSJ."
"Thanks Takira," Gogeta said as he walked out of the room with Takira. "Something tells me you will need to knock out Vegeta sooner or later." As they got to the room they noticed everyone was looking at Serene and none of the other Sayains on his team.
"Guys listen I'll take care of Serene," Gogeta said as he powered up. "Go after the other guys."
"OK bro," Vegeto said as he looked at two of the other Sayains. "But it won't be easy." Everyone else just nodded as they all powered up. After seeing them power up, Serene ordered his clan to power up as well. As soon as they were done, they waited for the sound to begin the fight.
"Gogeta I shall enjoy pounding your face in," Serene said with the same evil smile from Gogeta's dream.
"We'll see about that Serene," Gogeta said as he got into a fighting stance.
As they heard the sound, Gogeta and Serene instantly launch themselves towards each other. As Gogeta and Serene connected fists, the room shook from the force of their power. They then got into a fist lock and started banging their heads into each other. As Gogeta and Serene fought Vegeto, Takira, Cirus, Seripa, and Carina had fought off most of Serene's clan. Vegeta on the other hand just watched as Gogeta and Serene fought.
'How could they have that much power?!' Vegeto thought as his scouter checked their power levels. 'They keep getting higher! How can that be possible?!' Vegeta's scouter then blew up in his face. "This is just great! I have to train harder to become stronger than Gogeta now!"
As Vegeto blasted one of the Sayains, another Sayain grabbed him from behind. "You can't win! Serene's going to kill you all after he finishes that weakling off," the Sayain said as he started to power up two ki blasts to throw into Vegeto.
"That's my brother you idiot! He will kill Serene just like I'll kill you!" Vegeto said as he forced his head. The Sayain then grabbed his face in pain. Vegeto then took a ki blasted he powered up and punched his fist into the Sayains stomach. "You're dead," Vegeto said as he released the blast making the Sayain explode.
Seripa was having trouble though. There was a Sayain on each side of her and they were throwing rapid ki blasts at her.
"You can't win against the two of us!" one of the Sayains yelled.
"There's no way you can survive all theses after we're through!" the other Sayain yelled.
'I can't take these blasts for much longer,' Seripa thought as she began to weaken. She then noticed one of the Sayains stopped firing at her. As she looked at were the Sayains was she saw why. The Sayain had a huge hole through his stomach as he fell to the ground dead. She then looked up at the other Sayain to see were he was looking not only did he stop firing the blasts he was looking straightforward. As Seripa looked where the Sayain was looking to see Vegeto. "Thanks Vegeto I really needed the help," Seripa said as she lowered herself to the ground to rest.
"No problem Seripa," Vegeto said as he looked at the Sayain. "You rest for now. I'll take care of this guy."
"OK Vegeto," Seripa said as sat down on the ground.
As Vegeto was about to fire a powerful ki blast at the Sayain, a huge purple blast had destroyed him. Vegeto looked down to see Vegeta breathing hard with a smirk on his face.
'I have to train harder to become stronger than all of them,' Vegeta thought. 'They've gained more power than I thought they would gain.'
"Thanks for taking out those guys Vegeta," Cirus said as he lowered to the ground.
"So Vegeta have you decided to fight with the team?" Carina asked as she landed next to Cirus.
"No way!" Vegeta yelled. "I just want to kill Serene and I might need to use your power!"
"Sure Vegeta," Takira said as she floated in the air. "Just admit it. You can't fight Serene on your own."
As Vegeta was about to reply, they all felt a huge energy surge. They looked over to where Gogeta and Serene were to see Serene's armor blown off and Gogeta breathing hard.
"So you're stronger than I thought you were Gogeta," Serene said with a smirk on his face. "I guess I'll have to go to full power."
As Gogeta landed, he looked up to see Serene was starting to glow a golden color. "Takira you have to knock out Vegeta right now! Gogeta said to Takira telepathically. "Serene's about to go SSJ and I need to go SSJ without him seeing."
Takira nodded her head as she disappeared and reappeared behind Vegeta and hit him in the back of the neck making him fall unconscious. "So you know what I'm doing," Serene said as he blasted all the cameras in the room and sealed all the exits. "I don't know how you know but it won't make a difference soon."
"Gogeta what is he doing!?" Cirus yelled so Gogeta could hear.
"Just watch and you'll find out Cirus," Gogeta said as he watched Serene.
Serene's hair then turned into a golden color as it went out everywhere. Then the pupils in his eyes disappeared. "Now you shall know the power of a SSJ!" Serene yelled as he landed on the ground.
"We already know the power of a SSJ Serene," Gogeta said with a smirk.
"Yea right!" Serene said with an evil smirk. "You don't even know how powerful they can be!"
"Yes I can since I'm a SSJ," Gogeta said as he closed his eyes.
"You a SSJ? Don't make me" Serene was cut short though as Gogeta's hair turned gold and when his eyes opened they were no longer black but a sea green color. "So you are a SSJ. I'll kill you anyway since now I'm more powerful than you!"
"Wait don't forget me!" Vegeto said as his hair spiked up and turned gold. Then his eyes turned sea green just like Gogeta's. "I'll fight him first bro you just rest for now!"
"OK brother," Gogeta said as he sat down on the ground. 'This is going to be the toughest fight we've been in and I'm going to need all the energy I can save up. I never sensed a power like this before, he's at least twice as powerful as we are,' Gogeta thought as he watched the upcoming fight.
