Slave Saiyans and a Ally

Kakarott walked quietly beside Kya, a fake Ki Suppressing collar around his neck. Kya had fashioned this one to look like the regular collar he was used to wearing, but the collar didn't suppress all his powers. It never suppressed any at all.

"Now act like the Saiyan slave you were Kakarott," Kya growled, slim body hidden beneath her long jacket and ears hidden by her hood. Only rarely when she was buying did she show her face, but never her body. If the traders knew there was a female Saiyan, even if she was only half, they would capture her immediately.

"I'm already on it Kya," Kakarott said in a low enough voice that passing traders wouldn't hear him. The dark leather collar and exact same color leash made it look as if Kya owned him, but Kakarott was on this mission on his own free will.

***Flashback to the night before***

"I'm only going to ask you once Kakarott," Kya said as she sat in front of, the now clean, Kakarott. "Will you help me rescue another Saiyan? Or do you want to stay here and wait until I return. It's up to you. I don't really care if you choose to come or not." Kakarott nodded his head and held his hand out to Kya.

"If it is to save more of my kind, I'll work with you as much as I have to," he agreed. Kya smiled and shook his hand.

"We leave bright and early tomorrow morning Kakarott," she told him. "Please be in your slave outfit."

***End flashback***

The two continued down the packed hallways with thoughts of the next Saiyan in their heads. Kakarott trusted Kya with his life now and he would stick by her no matter what happened.

"Halt," a guard said as they approached a Master Trader room. "No one enters here without proper authorization." Kakarott noticed the slight shiver run down Kya's body but he guessed the guard never.

"I'm here on official Saiyan slave business," she said softly, rising her voice slightly to drown out her warriors appearance. "Let me in, please." The guard studied them for a moment before shaking his head and stepping aside, allowing them both to pass.

"If your pathetic Saiyan scum tries anything, with or without his collar, I'll kill him and then you." Kya growled slightly, under her breath and continued into the room, heavy metal doors closing behind her and Kakarott.

"Ah, you must be the Saiyan buyer," a deep voice said. A man stepped into the dim light of the room, holding a leash in his hand. On the other end of the leash a tall, dark skinned Saiyan stood soundly, unwilling to make his master angry.

"I am," Kya confirmed. "Is this Turles?"

"He is, and I see you hold the one he looks a lot like." Kakarott studied this other Saiyan and couldn't believe his eyes. Other than the darker skin and scar, Turles looked a lot like him. Or…did he look a lot like Turles?

"I'll give you 20,000 credits for him," Kya said, her voice confident that the slave trader couldn't refuse the offer.

"No chance," the man said. Kakarott's tail flicked around in a way that showed he was agitated and didn't want to stand still. Kya jerked his leash, making him stumbled forward slightly and he lifted his eyes to Kya's.

"Stay still slave!" she barked and drew back her hand as if she was going to strike him. The man holding Turles spoke up before she could make her move.

"I see you like your slaves trained," he said with a sly voice. "Turles here knows better than to disobey orders."

"Only because I have this stupid collar on," the dark skinned Saiyan growled under his breath, but his master heard it.

"69,000 credits!" Kya nearly shouted, trying to stop the man from hitting one of her kind. "I won't go any higher and you know I'm the only one who will pay that much for a slave, even if it is a Saiyan!" The man turned back to Kya, eyes narrowed.

"So be it," he said and thrust the leash into her hand. Without thinking, Kakarott reached forward to take Turles' leash from her. With lightning fast reflexes Kya made it look as if she had pulled Kakarott forward and was giving the leash to him.

"Don't move, either of you," she commanded and turned to the trader to give him the money.

"Don't worry my friend," Kakarott whispered as he moved forward, pretending to nuzzle Turles' neck. "Kya is a friend, she's going to help us." He planted a soft kiss on the other Saiyans neck before Kya jerked him away.

"The deal is done," she said. "Let's get going you two worthless Saiyans."

When they were back on Kya's ship, Kakarott pulled of his collar and rubbed his neck.

"Even one night without these things makes you realize how good it is to be free," he said with a smirk. Turles stood silently to the side, watching in slight amazement that Kakarott had removed his own collar.

"Well don't be shy now Turles," Kya said and reached up to remove the collar from his neck. Turles backed away slightly, raising his hands to his neck to stop Kya from taking his collar off. With a sigh, Kya stepped back also and removed her jacket, dropping it to the floor. She shook out her deep blue hair and gently unwound her tail from her waist.

"There, I'm a Saiyan also," she said. "Now can I take your collar off?" Kakarott nearly wet his pants at the hilarious look on Turles' face when he saw Kya's tail. He watched the other Saiyan eagerly step forward to let Kya remove his collar.

"I told you she was a friend Turles," he said and stood beside, who he hoped to be, his new friend. Turles just nodded mutely and turned to Kakarott, pushing his head against the other Saiyans shoulder. Kya rolled her eyes and ruffled both of their hair.

"Take him to the shower Kakarott, and get him some new clothes. And while you're at it, clean yourself up too. I'll scan for more Saiyans and when you get back I'll take my shower," she told him. Kakarott smiled and nodded, curling his long brown tail around Turles' and leading him towards the bathroom. As they left, Kya flopped down in a chair and let out a breath.

"Who ever thought keeping two full blood Saiyans would be so hard!"
