Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ So Blue ❯ Trust ( Chapter 33 )
~~~~``` Chapter 33
Vegeta gracefully, arrogantly, stepped out onto the balcony just as a King should strut before his people. Confidently, full of the power that made him who he was. His cape fluttered loudly in his wake, the wind whistling over the high plains of the mountain. His people drew quiet having seen the flame black of his hair before anything else. Vegeta braced his hands on the rail, looking down at all the same pitch black orbs that were of pure blood and only a handful of greens, reds, and violets that represented the half-breed group or humans. He secretly thought of the humans, wondered what had happened to the other thirty that had been on the woman's ship after Frieza had taken it over. Only ten now lived and they were out there among his race that had at first detested the weak creatures however grew to accept the changing ways. It was weird how everything worked out Ok.
Vegeta connected eyes with the lot of them, bowing their head when their eyes met his. He could feel each of their kis, it confused him, and bothered his head for he couldn't get rid of their presences when so close to so many. He could hear their distance thoughts, all wondering what had happened to cause such sudden movements, all wanting to know when they would be able to fight, all wanting to know, will Klooer die today? Vegeta could make out their frenzy tails, feeling a pitch of jealousy and rage for the man that had rid him of his precious furry appendage.
Their blood was pumping in anxiety; he could hear their pleas for him to speak. And he granted it. "The Time has come." His voice flowed like water over the two hundred thousand warriors. Instantly they roared in blood lust, fists in the air, uncontrolled in their hunger. Vegeta smirked, chuckling softly at their enthusiasm. He loved his race.
Vegeta raised his hand. As much as he wanted them to have their fun there was little time. They quieted quickly. "Klooer's fleet builds at our border. His power grows but as do ours. However this will be unlike all our other meaningless wars. I have reason to believe this will be ground battle. Klooer and I have a date." Many collective laughs for the human term. "And I will not disappoint." The soldiers quickly exploded into praise. Vegeta pushed himself straight allowing their encouraging faith to fill his chest with pride. He viewed out the mile stretch in width and length of his Sayian race. Their voices soon quieted on their own. "This will be the last battle. Klooer falls today!" Ki blasts shot in the air in their excitement. Vegeta nearly rolled his eyes in amusement. They were rowdy today. He waited patiently with a small delightful smirk for them to quiet. But when all he heard was the humming of the generators and the whistling of the wind, all humor left to form his hard rock expression. "You may be wondering why now. Why not when we are more prepared. I will explain. Klooer wanted to meet privately. And I no reason to fear." He smirked earning a few chuckles. "Met him. He had a gift with him. And at first even I refused to believe what I saw. But now there is no denying it." He paused, facing his audience. "The first heir to the throne…Lives." Gasps echoed through the thousands of warriors all questioning each other if they knew what he meant. "Not only did his appearance confirm this but blood test after blood test proved the truth to me. He is alive. And well. And now, after a swift fight with Klooer, he is in our possession."
"Where is he?"
"Bring him out!"
"I need to see for myself!"
Warriors spoke out and many agreeing. Vegeta held his hand holding their further interrogation. "He is too weak. Tortured by Klooer for how long, I do not know." Vegeta felt the instant burn of their rage even if they were a bit unsure. No harm comes to a Sayian let alone Royalty especially the one held so sacred in the heart of every Sayian. Vegeta, though expressed his own distaste, secretly basked in their anger. This is what he had hoped for. "I want his empire to burn to ashes for what he has done to my son!" His booming voice even surprised him. "Do not fail me and do not fail him! Go. You know your places. Just known Klooer is mine! Let him come." Once again they hollered and screamed and soon they fled for the skies. Vegeta nodded to a guard at the balcony and he pressed the button. A rumbling was heard but Vegeta turned his back heading for his throne. However when his eyes looked up, his footing stalled. The glistening blue eyes met his.
The warriors levitated at the side of the mountain and watched with fascination as the hanger to the hundreds of ships slid out from inside of the hard rock, stretching miles over the town. A few hundred got a hold of the new modeled flyer while others ransacked each cabinet that was filled with thousands of tiny little wires that somehow or other helped them breath in space. Another reason they hated this new planet. With Old Vegeta-sei, her atmosphere allowed them to breathe far out from the planet but here, only a few miles till air became lessened. On the opposite side of those shelves laid thousands of small bags, which were given to each and every soldier. They held capsules that contained all different types of artillery, supplies, and food. Their queen always made sure to take care of them. The ones without flyers gathered on five massive ships that held a few thousand each comfortably. Once everyone was set, together they took off for the rendezvous point to meet up with other aliens of the Sayian Empire.
No guards. No one. Not one person. Where was everyone? What had Klooer told him? A battle rages. His master assured him no one would be roaming the castle and if a few just happened to pass him they would not notice the stranger considering they would be too evolved in what they were doing.
Her power, why was it disturbed? She must be sleeping, only logical thought. A smirk resided on his wet lips. His blood pumped erratically, his heart pounded its cage. It felt just like the first time he was taken by his females. His muscles tense, his stomach in unknown knots. And he could not keep still.
Finally at her door, her awkward ki lie inside. Someone was with her, now he could find. Though they were too noticed them before.
No handle, Klooer had said there wouldn't be. He inspected the box next to it and with his ki melted the screws lifting the lid to view the wires inside.
Now what? Klooer had said the technology such as this was pointless. In other words he didn't know how to disengage this machine. But master had also said the knowledge was deep within his person. Trunks scanned it quickly. 'Do not think. Command yourself to do it and you will.' That is what Klooer had told him and so he obeyed. His hands instinctively touched each in every color, and without a simple thought his nail sliced through the purple wire at the same time pressing a side geneator. The door slid up with no alarm. Trunks smirked. If only he knew his genius. It was right there, he could feel it hiding underneath a clothe of invisibility. How could he get to it? Just imagine what he could do once he got his intelligence back! The very thought excited him.
But Klooer awaited his return. He could not keep away much longer. Trunks stepped through the doorway, spiking his ki to alert awareness however the two creatures in the bedroom were not paying attention to their surroundings. Morons. Master said people like that should expect to die young.
He pressed the button to the room, catching the couple wrapped up in furs on the large bed. The blue hair he instantly caught and all of his intentions momentarily fled, unconsciously he stepped closer. His eyes wide in wonder finding the beautiful pale face of a young woman, her lavender hair laid across her check.
However it wasn't lust he felt for this gorgeous creature. No, it was unexplainable. A warm feeling through his gut, clencing his inner muscles. His lavender brows knitted staring down at this angel. He swallowed hard, catching movement in his right and quickly finding the mirror with his own reflection. Was that him? Trunks gazed at his image only twenty feet away and snapped his eyes down to the beauty. Once again he looked at himself and once again he looked down upon her. Gods, they were twins! Her pale features, high cheek bones, sharp but smooth nose, strong jaw line, plump pale red lips, lavender brows and long silky hair. But how could this be?
Who was this that he was kidnapping? Had he even bothered to ask? He was not told. Just had a taste of her ki by Klooer's teaching. Why had he even wanted this girl in the first place? The only reason he could figure was to help the war?
Stop it, Trunks. You are not to question Master. You are to obey.
Trunks's features hardened. No matter the likeness he must leave as soon as possible. His master will explain later but until then he was to comply. His hands fisted and slowly he allowed his ki to fill him. He wanted them awake. It would make it easier. He would smash the boy like glass. And then the girl would be all his.
Lifting his palm outward toward the young man that laid protective over the woman's body, he needed only to the hurt the man permantly but not enough to cause the female any damage. The power left him.
Vegeta let his hands fist at his sides. His woman stared at him with such distaste it made him sick. He had never wanted to see that expression upon her. Not ever again. Her blue eyes, so much as the boy's just filled him with reassurance. He was right to tell everyone. He had no reason to doubt no matter how much she did.
"You bastard." She whispered, her tears falling with the first word but she seemed ignorant to them, her lips set tight in a frown. "How the hell could you tell them that?"
"Because it's true."
"The hell it is!"
Vegeta stepped closer to her only to watch her take quick steps back. He ground his teeth at her rejection, his dull nails digging into his palms. "They deserved the truth."
"What about me, Vegeta? Don't I deserve the truth?"
"You know the truth you just deny it." He growled. "Tell me, woman, is it that you like to suffer or you are just too stubborn to believe I have actually done something right?"
"Let me get this straight." A bitter fake smile approached her lips, "You want me to believe that our son, Trunks, had been living on the planet that I myself had come from, and that Klooer who never stepped foot on Earth, where his pod landed, had him all along?"
"I don't know the story, nor do I know how it all happened. But what I tell you, is that our son is in this building."
She bit her lip, her eyes tightening, chin trembling before her hands folded into her blue hair, "Kami, I hate you, Vegeta." Her eyes flashed up, Vegeta was almost throw off-guard by her hated frustration. "I hate what you do to me! I hate that you make me suffer this pain! And I hate that I cannot leave you."
Vegeta eyes dropped to the floor. He had to finish this. He couldn't fight with her right now. He needed to go with his troops. He would have to leave her. That was the only way right now. Let her find their son on her own, then no doubt will convince her otherwise. But he needed to leave. Vegeta stepped to her, grasping her arms, gently guiding her hands from her head to her sides. He leaned in, nuzzling her cheek, her tears smearing on his own face, "And yet you love me. Why?"
"I don't know." She whispered, shaking her head against him.
"Me either. You have put up with me too long. And I have done nothing to deserve what it is that you give. However, I never lied to you. I may have caused false trust and destroyed faith. But I never lied. It is him. I have seen him. His eyes, his hair, his blood all matches us. He is us. Go to the ward, see him for yourself. My kingdom awaits for my instruction and I must go. Stay in the castle. You will be safe here. You will not die today."
"And neither will you." As much as she hated him at this moment, she tasted his sweet lips, arms wrapping tight around his neck while his embraced her shoulders. His tongue swirled only momentarily with hers before he yanked her away and strutted quickly out of the room without once looking back.
