~~~~~~``````  Chapter  39 A deal to an end
Vegeta growled menacing, pushing his mate behind him glaring at the glass screen. “Klooer. You dare show your face.”
“That I do.” Klooer chuckled looking upon the Sayian Royal with a special smirk, quickly finding the Queen and her glorious eyes that peaked out from over Vegeta's shoulder.  Klooer took a sip of his red wine, leaning more comfortable upon his dais.  “You missing someone?” He out right laughed at the barred teeth that presented itself along with a rumbling growl.  Klooer had almost forgotten how godly Vegeta could appear.  He liked his lips enticingly.  “Now, now Vegeta.  Retract your claws.” He took a sip of the liquid.  “I have come to make a deal with you, my young King.”
“Deals, Klooer.  Hadn't we had enough of deals?”
“Oh but this one, is just too delicious.”
“Where are they?”
  “They are safe.” He stalled at his contradicting sentence, chuckling softly, “As safe as one can be in the enemies' hands anyway.  Honestly, Vegeta, do you think I would hurt her?  Or him for that matter?  He has been my pet for the past few months.  They are all currently standing beside me tending to their wounds.  As little as they are, they all know how to put up a decent fight.”
“I want to see them.” Bulma quipped but as hushed by her husband.
“Let the lady speak, Vegeta.  Have you no manners?”
“Not with you.”
“Oh, you speak to me as if I am the beast when really you have blood of savages running through your veins.  But yes, my beautiful queen.  You may see them.” He press a button on his arm rest and the view expanding catching the three of them huddle together.
Bulma nearly ran to the screen upon seeing her daughter. “Bra.” The lavender female yanked her head from Goten's shoulder and stared wide-eyed at the screen.  Bulma's eyes however saw nothing more then her daughter, even with Trunks right beside her.
Upon seeing the woman that birthed her, “Mama.” She took hurried steps to the screen only to be stalled by an invisible barrier that singed her skin.  She screamed at the sizzling heat, yanking herself away and into the arms of a panicked Goten.
Klooer looked on with amusement, “Stupid Monkey.” He chided looking back to the screen.  “You see them.  They are fine.  Confident that Vegeta will save them.” He chuckled at that however switching the screen where it was just him again.
“Klooer, I will rip you apart with my bare hands if any of them are harmed in anyway.” Bulma threatened though only getting laughed at by the lizard.
“You have the same imagination as your mate.” He mused.  “But really, I am on a time schedule here and do wish to conclude our little war enough in time to bring home the Sayian King's head to my father for dinner.”
“Too confident, Klooer.  Frieza was the same way.” Vegeta marked with a smirk of his own.
“No, Vegeta.  See I know your power.  And I want it.  Just to prove to you once and for all, no matter how strong you become, I will always be victor.  So you can live in the afterlife with your shame.”
“Why don't you stop your hiding and face me now then?”
“Oh, I will but first my deal.” He grinned, licking his lips at the very thought.  “You wish to have your brats and this other child that I have.  And I will give them to you.  As they are, no damage, un-harmed.”
“The catch.”
“In exchange for…” Klooer stalled his eyes darting to find the goddess of a woman glaring at him with all the hate her heavenly eyes could conjure up.  “Your mate.”
Without hesitation, “That is ridic--”
“Deal.” Bulma straightened, turning her orbs to find her husband staring at her with wide-shock filled expression.  She repeated, “Deal.”
Klooer smiled widely, “Deal.  I will be on your planet in less then three minutes to make the trade.  Don't be late.” The screen clicked off but neither paid any attention to it.
The silence was thick between them, but Bulma knew if she didn't do or say anything nothing would be done.  She took a step forward and that in itself seemed to break Vegeta from his vacillation.  “I will not let you.” He swallowed hard after which suddenly finding his throat too dry.
Bulma smiled softly and stepped into his space, touching his cheek just barely with her palm, “I will save our daughter.  And I will believe in what I have never seen and save our son.  Only because you believe with all your heart, that he is alive.”
He batted her hand from his cheek, glaring at her fully.  “I do not care, I will not allow this.”
“No choice, love.  My oath, I will not bury my children.”
He growled at her, “What of my oath.  I will not bury my mate.”
“And neither shall happen.  I will go to him.  And you will save me.  And you will save our daughter.  And you will save our son.” She grasped his hand, kissing his knuckle rubbing her cheek against it, smiling when he cupped her soft cheek.
“But... What if I am not strong enough?” He whispered catching Bulma's bright eyes.
“That is not possible.  I feel your power. Even the power that you do not see.  All you need is a trigger.  Just as last time.  And when you see your family at the hands of Klooer.  Your strength will surpass all bounds and you will be our savior once again.”
He yanked his hand away, “You do not know this!  What if it is not in me!  What if there is no other level and this all I have!”
“Then that is all you have.  And that is all you will ever need.”
“Bulma do not.  I ask this of you.”
“It is not my death, Vegeta.” A seductive playful smile appeared on her plump lips, “You are acting like you care, my unfeeling monkey.”
Vegeta bowed his head, taking her up in his arms, dropping his forehead upon hers.  He forced a smirk on his lips, “Care for a human, do not make me laugh.”  But it dropped immediately and he caught her eyes.  “I will fight.”
“After the children are safe.  Fight with all your heart.  This is not the end, Vegeta.” She grasped his lips passionately and him just the same.  His hand dug into her hair, holding her tight almost painfully to him as he drank from her lips, tasting her delicious tongue.  But she ripped away from him taking a step back, her eyes now glistening as she met his orbs.  “Let's go.” She took lead, Vegeta taking only a moment to quickly follow after her.
    ~~```
Vegeta and Bulma stepped out onto the glass stairway, stalling at the very top, watching the massive ship seep from the atmosphere.  Vegeta's fists clenched tight.  The bastard had been hiding right behind the moon, only place he could have been to be so close.  And it was obvious he had a ki suppresser surrounding his ship for he still felt no ki's within the massive vassal.  That is except for Klooer's marked by the pressure of his chest.
Footsteps were quickly heard, every Sayian that was left to protect the castle now flooded down the stairs, Radditz in lead.  Bulma turned at the sudden tap on her shoulder finding Maddox with a worried expression.  Vegeta took a deep breath, “Stay were you are.” His blood trembled at his own words.  This wasn't how it was supposed to go about, damn it.  The twenty or so Sayians turned to him in question.
Radditz quickly speaking, “But Sir, who is this?”  He received no answer for the sound of the ship landing quaked the earth.  All eyes now turned to the craft, waiting impatiently for the threat to be revealed.
The hissing sound of the ramp interrupted the air waves.  The thumb of it vibrated the floor beneath their feet.  Their eyes rose to the opening and instant gasps sounded heavily in the sky.  Many stumbled back at the powerful being that now stood not forty feet away, a smirk on his purple lips, his tail swaying in delight, his stance strong and unyielding.  Their scoter's broke upon their faces at the intense energy that Klooer emitted, scaring the remaining populace even more.  Radditz and few other brave warriors made a run for the ship but was once again stalled by orders of their King. “Retreat your steps.” He barked.
Radditz turned to gaze at his king in confusion however the eyes of his long time comrade were not upon him, instead burning into the red depths of their enemy.  Something was amiss here.
“Obey your King, Monkeys.  For you have no chance against me.” He chuckled only for it to become a full out laugh when the Sayians turned their black eyes to him and barred their teeth in their hatred.  He ignored it, knowing his time was precious.  “Our deal Vegeta.”
“Show them now.” He bit in response ignoring the questioning gazing of his people.
Klooer side glanced only for a moment bringing his eyes quickly back upon the royal couple.  And soon beside him came his three captives all bound with ki depressors upon their wrists.  “How do we do this, Vegeta?  We need to go on a bit of trust.  I do not want your blood.  I want your mate.”
“And you shall have me.” Bulma spoke up, bravely stepping forward not giving her lover one last look for she knew her strength would crumble upon his face.  The Sayians moved almost unconsciously out of the queen's way as she stepped calmly and stoically down the glass steps.  Her eyes never left the enemy, breathing in relief as Klooer lowered down his ramp with the children stepping behind.
It was Bra that couldn't wait anymore and she ran now to her mother who quickly embraced.  Kissing her head, her eyes darting over her daughter's body to make sure no damaged had been inflicted.  Bulma grabbed Bra's wet face kissing her forehead, “No tears, Little child.  You are safe now.”
“Don't do this, mama.  He's going to hurt you.”
“Better me then you, sweetie.  Go now, to your father.  We do not want to upset Klooer.”
“Mama, please.”
“Guard.”  Bulma gave her daughter to the Sayian watching as they broke the bracelets from their wrists.  She turned now back to Klooer only to find a boy before her she has yet to see.  She gasp, covering her mouth when her eyes took in his features.  His lavender hair, pale face, and those eyes of skies.  He looked at her now with the same surprise and confusion, forming no words from his dry throat, however finding a bare memory of this woman though at the time she was transparent and much smaller.
He was pushed to the side, taken from his thoughts and he glared to find Klooer smirking at the woman now.  “Go young prince, before I change my mind.” Klooer grasped the beautiful creature's arm, gently but harshly, pulling her up on the ramp.
Trunks turned to go to her, feeling some instinct inside to get her back but something grabbed him and he turned with a devil's eye.  Radditz held the boy tight, knowing this is what had to happen.  He had figured out Vegeta`s plan and would do his best to make sure it happened. “You will only be in the way.” He whispered, “Hurry now to the steps.  Once you are safe, your mother will be retrieved.”
Mother?  Trunks swung to the woman again, her eyes however not on him anymore instead upon the man on the glass steps.  She was his mother?  But he could not dwell on it; he was being pushed toward the castle now.
Vegeta waited until his son was in the hands of his men, keeping his body steady with all the will power he had while his mate was being tugged to the ship's opening.  Her eyes kept with his, her words as clear as the sky.  “You don't honestly think I would just let you leave, now would you?”  Vegeta's voice boomed over the silent air.
Klooer turned with a smirk of his own.  “I hardly thought much.” At those words, soldiers emerged from the massive ship, hurrying the ramp to make a body wall, armed and ready to face a battle knowing their death was inevitable.  Nothing more powerful then a soldier unafraid of death.
The Sayians readied themselves also, straightening their own line before Klooer's group, baring their teeth and whipping their tails, prepared at any moment their king gives the word.  “We fight now, Klooer. You and me. As it should be.”
“You know what, My Sayian King?  We'll do just that.  But let me lock my queen up and send her to my planet first.”
“Never!” Vegeta charged and that was all the order the others needed, attacking their line of the enemy the same moment their king's feet left the floor.  Vegeta dropped on the ship's ramp; Bulma had been taken by another soldier.  Now Klooer was his one and only obstacle between him and his mate.  How ironic it all seemed.  He chuckled at the thought catching Klooer's interest.
“What is so funny, dead King.  All ready scared crazy?”
“Not one bit.  I am just remembering the way I killed your brother.”
“A pleasant moment I am sure. However, I am much stronger then any opponent you have ever faced, Vegeta.”
“Same goes for you.”
“We are one of kind, Vegeta.  The most powerful beings in the entire universe and yet we are enemies.  Why do you think that is?”
“Jealousy.”
“Really?  And what is it that makes you jealous of me?”
“Not me, you.”
“Me?  Jealous of you?” a smile reached his purple lips. “And what am I jealous of pray tell?”
“I'll give you one guess.”
Klooer broke out in laughter, “You think I am jealous of your empire? Or your strength? Or your kin?”
“All three, of course.  Enough talk.  We fight now.”
“Oh, yes, Vegeta.  WE fight now.” The two sworn enemies floated unconscious into the air, both their bodies still as statues and emotionless besides the evil smirk upon their face and the slit of rage that were their eyes.  They flew upright over to a clearing only fifty feet away and dropped down softly on the leveled ground.  “So many years, I've waited.  I've waited until I felt that beautiful power of yours to rise up to the point were it pounds against your chest like it does right now.  That myth my brother had turned into reality.  And now I received the privilege of being the witness of the transformation to the second stage.”
“Why?”
“Because then it would be fun.” He chuckled.  “Honestly, Vegeta, if I fought you no less then three years ago, The battle would have surely only lasted but five minutes.  Where is the thrill?  I waited twenty years for you to peak at your greatest height of power just so I could knock you off your pedestal.  But you never once did.  However, I feel it now.  Waiting, tempting, and seducing, to be released.  And I want to be that reason.  I want to be the cause of your power.  But I have talked enough.  It is time to see if I am right.  Let the battle of the universe, Begin, my monkey King.”
