Stellari remembered back to the time she had moved in with Raditz. Her children had gone on a training trip with Yamcha and Krillen to hone their powers. While she missed her sons, she knew that the Z warriors were the only ones capable of helping her boys master their vast potential. Without the discipline martial arts brought, either Fermi or Bohr could learn to abuse their abilities. Bulma had suggested Yamcha as the perfect choice for a karate teacher, since he had mourned the loss of his girlfriend bliss. He needed a focus instead of moping over her, so when Stellari's sons manifested their powers, she connected Stellari with her former boyfriend.
Now Stellari was grateful to her friend for his time with the boys. They needed a strong male influence such as Krillen or Yamcha. Yet she still felt some guilt about letting them go while she played house with Raditz. She had told them about their new 'parent' to warm them up. Yet she recalled the day after her romp with Raditz in his apartment when the subject again surfaced regarding her boys. She and Raditz had met to have an evening of fun and games. It was the morning after and they were horsing around.
"Drek," Raditz grumbled, feeling a bit dizzy. So caught up was he in pleasuring his mate that he had neglected the empty hole inside him. Stellari pushed herself off the table and strode over towards the fridge. She knew automatically he would fuss for food to be prepared, so she decided to simply fix him something so he wouldn't complain. A hungry Saiyan was a great pain in the neck.
"You don't have anything else in here but raw steak do you?" she asked, rooting through the fridge. Quickly she grabbed an apple and tossed it to him, which he neatly caught with his hand held up. He plucked an orange she hefted his way out of midair with ease. Then she leaned up to open the fridge and grabbed some large flank steaks in their Styrofoam trays. Next to them she saw packages wrapped with strange entrails and other organ meats.
"Is this a SPLEEN in here?" she wondered. "And a… don't tell me, brains."
"Specially ordered," he said, munching on a piece of fruit. In two bites it was gone. His hand snaked around and snatched the plastic container with the item in question away. Dr. Stellari was pleased and relieved to see the contents gone, evident by Raditz licking his fingers.
"Don't tell me you consider sheep's eyes a treat," she said.
"Huh, I heard they were quite a delicacy in some parts of your world," he said, still ravenous. Grumbling she threw a plastic wrapped tray with some steaks in it towards him. Easily he caught it, then tore off the plastic wrap. She winced seeing him biting into frozen meat like a Popsicle.
"Ugh," she said.
"You should eat some more protein as well," he said, snaking out his tail and drawing her towards him. Stellari felt her stomach turn with the smell of the frozen meat. Grabbing another piece of frozen food, Raditz chewed but did not swallow.
"Oh terrific, I know what THAT means," she groaned. With a grunt he bent down and pressed his lips to hers. Stellari desperately tried not to gag as he teased her mouth open and spat the half-chewed meat into her mouth. Apparently this was a Saiyan custom of affection, the closest thing they had to a kiss. Mates chewed up food for one another, the males for the females particularly. Females did this for their young who were just 'whelped'. Stellari held her nose and swallowed, knowing that if she refused, Raditz would be extremely offended. Pissing off a six and a half-foot space alien was not on the top of her list. Although Raditz would not deliberately harm her, she feared he would take out his aggression on other targets.
Raditz bit into another piece of meat, scooping it out of the tray first. Plastic wrap balled up and wadded into a small projectile he threw over his shoulder. Stellari rolled her eyes at the perfect trajectory ending in the wastebasket. With one hand he dragged her across the floor, gathering another armful of frozen meat that would have fed a family of four for an entire day. He sat down on the kitchen chair and plunked her onto his knee.
"You don't expect me to feed you do you?" she grumbled.
"It's customary for females to sit on their male's laps when eating," he laughed, holding her steady. "Be she slave, concubine or mate."
"This me Tarzan, you Jane shit has got to stop," she groaned. "Or at least WARN me you're going to fling me around like a sack of potatoes!"
"You secretly enjoy it. Don't deny there's something about my primal nature that stirs your blood, woman," Raditz laughed harshly. Despite all the 'domestication' Raditz was still a fierce warrior from a bloodthirsty culture. Even being the 'weakest' of warriors he was still not something an average human wanted to tangle with. Stellari knew Vegeta's strategy for keeping Nappa and Raditz in line was to give them constant female companionship. At least she did not have to share Raditz company with other women. Third class mated for life. She winced at the hard armored skirt pressing to her soft body.
"What is it now?" he grumbled.
"You're denser then me, and that's considered a drawback on Earth," she teased.
"Feh, your human intelligence is akin to an average warriors," he started.
"Oh? According to the prince, most Saiyans were dunderheads," Stellari pursed her lips.
"You talk entirely too much," he grumbled. "The prince was right, you do share some disturbing similarities to my sire."
As he devoured his treat, Dr. Stellari slid a hand up to pet his thick lustrous hair. She wondered how it would look brushed out and slicked down instead of standing up wildly like a hedgehog or porcupine's quills. His features were angular and harsh with a prominent brow ridge, making human males look weak and soft in comparison. Stellari knew he enjoyed her 'petting' so she started to try and pick tangles out of his impossibly long mane. This calmed Raditz a bit so he continued to eat unimpeded. A low purring in his throat bore witness to her successful efforts in soothing the savage beast.
"I meant to ask when you and I would share our quarters," he said after a time.
"You mean your place or mine?" she flinched.
"It's traditional for the Saiyan female to move into the male's den. Unless she is from a greater caste," he explained, stroking through her hair.
Several strides of long legs carried him towards the bedroom. Stellari hugged herself, curling up on her side and laughing aloud with joy. To think that she had found someone so hopelessly devoted to her in the form of an alien terror was unbelievable. Guilt flashed through her when she remembered her sons. Doubtless they would be in school right now wondering if their Mommy were all right.
"I have to go," she mumbled.
"What was that?" Raditz asked, wandering in with an armful of the remaining fruit. He had stopped to pull on a pair of black silk boxers, making him even more irresistible.
"I've got to go. My kids…"
"I see," Raditz murmured. "This is most annoying. The sooner you move in here, the better… or else if you wish I can move into your quarters…"
"I need to make… preparations first. I mean you're not exactly a lightweight. And my sons are going to have to meet you," she said.
"I won't hurt them, if you're afraid of that," Raditz frowned.
Stellari blushed. "I don't mean to be a bitch about it…"
"The thoughts in your mind, are so clear," Raditz murmured. "You'd be foolish not to be wary. But a Saiyan warrior keeps his word. When it comes to his Prince, and his mate. And if you doubt my words, see in my mind the validity of them."
"You're angry," she said. "But you're trying to keep a lid on it… I didn't realize how much pride you're giving up…"
"It will take time for you to master this I can see," Raditz said, sitting next to her. "I won't go wherever you do not wish. But nothing can break a bond once formed. One may block for a time conscious thought, but unconsciousness spills over."
"Is that why I could read your note this morning?" she asked.
Raditz nodded, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. "A deliberate test. So you can now read Saiyan."
"How much MORE? And is it both ways?"
"Yes, woman," Raditz nodded. "Try thinking of something you know… and see how well you can get me to understand it."
"Okay," Stellari breathed. She dredged up memories of graduate school. Of the Periodic Table, and other theoretical principles. Sharply Raditz gasped, pressing his hand to his head.
"Enough woman… it's far too much!" he gasped. "Science isn't… my expertise! Despite Father's wishes!"
"He resented that you only cared about cold hard economics," she mumbled.
"Annoying old man," he grumbled. "But he was a mighty warrior with the power level of an elite."
"What a funny name," she mumbled then reeled in shock. Images flooded her mind, of various faces and names. Stellari squeezed her eyes shut, trying to take it in. He slowed down, allowing her to see the memories of family and comrades. At the same time she released those of her own time.
"He pretended he wasn't smart, and people only thought of him as a low class soldier," she mumbled, opening her eyes. "But he was brilliant. He fooled them all. Knowing about matter and energy…"
"Father was clever, I'll give him that. His best idea was never to let the enemy onto how smart a warrior was. Mother resented him for that. He could have been an Elite… but no…" Raditz snorted.
"He's also dead," murmured Stellari, hugging herself. "Your parents had a huge fight before it happened…"
"Mother and Father quarreled often. In the end she wouldn't speak to him because he was so focussed on being the best. How ironic she said I was just as driven as he was. Family bonds were not the most important things in the end," Raditz said quietly.
"And now you've given yourself to me," she said quietly.
"The Saiyan race must survive. We were foolish to think that aurites were the only important things. The Prince said survival was paramount, since we no longer serve Freiza. Here we will build a New World, for the Saiyan people. And you are part of that glorious legacy, woman," said Raditz.
"What glory?" she asked. "Now that you are no longer slaves, what enemies will you fight?"
"These Androids. And whoever dare oppose us," Raditz answered.
"Idiot," Stellari laughed. "What has conquering gotten you?"
"What do you know?"
"More then you can imagine, Raditz. You said the bond went both ways," she said.
"I see…" Raditz mumbled. "These images of a warrior people you feed me. These Romans…"
"An empire that stretched for miles. And finally fell under its own weight. Some remembered them as great, while others saw them as terrors," said Stellari.
"They were your ancestors, woman," Raditz nodded.
"Yes. So don't think yourself above us. Humans can teach you much. We have talked about this before, Raditz."
"True. Apologies for retreating an old subject. So, what are your plans for the day, precious one?"
"I must call Bliss and see how my sons are doing," she blushed.
"I'll fly you there," Raditz offered.

Days later they had met Raditz for the first time. Things had not gone according to plan, when Yamcha and Tien had taken liberties that they shouldn't. Stellari was still furious from the situation, and stormed out of Kame house where Raditz waited on the beach with her two sons.
"You think she's done?" Raditz asked.
"Yep, here comes Mommy, and she's still TICKED," said Fermi.
"Wow, she looks like Ms. Chichi," said Bohr nervously. He clung to Raditz leg, causing the warrior to glance down in concern.
Krillen and Chaotzu sullenly walked out after her, guilt on their faces. Stellari motioned to Raditz and her sons. "Boys, Mr. Krillen and Mr. Chaotzu have something to say."
"What?" Fermi asked. He rushed up to his mother with concern on his face. She leaned down and scooped him up. Bohr still felt the nervous waves of anger, and looked up at his mother striding up.
"Was it something I did?" Bohr asked.
"Don't be silly young one, your mother is angry at them," Raditz stammered. He awkwardly leaned over and held out his arms to the boy. Bohr leapt into them, wrapping his small arms around Raditz neck. Stiffly Raditz walked over to stand by his wife.
"We're sorry," Krillen said quietly. "But are you sure…"
"I apologize for attacking, but I'm NOT sorry for protecting the whelps," Raditz said.
"Raditz, do you have something to say to Krillen?"
"I… I apologize for smashing you through a wall long ago," Raditz said, rolling his eyes.
"Um… did you just say what I thought you did?" Krillen stammered.
"Yes. Now can we go, woman?" Raditz grunted.
"Yes. Krillen you tell your friends the next time anyone tries a stunt like this they'll answer to me, and I'll let Raditz do the explaining," said Stellari angrily.
"So there!" Fermi glared at them.
"We're sorry," Krillen mumbled.
"Now we can go," Stellari said, nodding in satisfaction.
"Mommy you're not mad at me are you?" Bohr asked.
"No sweetie," she said, leaning over to hug him. Bohr smiled immediately and kissed his mom on the cheek.
"I'm hungry," said Fermi. "Can we order a pizza?"
"Well Boys, we'll see what I can come up with. Would you like to come home with Mr. Raditz and me? He's the person I told you about…"
"The man you married?" asked Fermi.
"Is he going to live with us like a real daddy?" asked Bohr.
Raditz coughed profusely. Bohr squeezed Raditz neck affectionately, causing the Saiyan to blush. Fermi laughed. "I suppose we should have a man to man talk?" Raditz guessed.
"We sure should," said Stellari. "Now let's go."
"I can fly on my own Mommy. You look pretty tired," said Fermi.
"Do you need our help Mommy?" asked Bohr.
"I'll assist your mother, if you young warriors wish to follow me. Let's see how fast you can fly to keep up with me… a race?" Raditz suggested.
"Cool," Fermi nodded.
"We can REALLY move pretty quick, so watch out!" Bohr boasted. Stellari put her hand in Raditz, and he let go of Bohr to hover on his own.
"Follow me!" Raditz called, struggling to steady his harsh voice. Surrounding himself with the white ki, he blasted off. Fermi and Bohr glowed amethyst and shot off after him. Although Raditz was flying only a small fraction of his speed, the boys were easily starting to overtake him.
"Faster!" Bohr called.
"Let's see what you've got, whelps," Raditz challenged. Both boys streaked after the burst of speed making two trails in their wake. Raditz was amazed at the amount of energy either one was pouring out. To his underdeveloped ki senses it was obvious they were equal to one another.
Two hours later they reached the apartment complex near Capsule. Fermi and Bohr were winded, but still managing to keep pace with Raditz. Stellari rested in her husband's arms and he streaked down towards the balcony with the open window.
Fermi and Bohr quickly landed after their mother and new stepparents. Both boys quickly concentrated, flicking the latch open on the sliding door. Raditz was amazed to see this happen, and barely thought to question it. "I'm starving," Fermi said.
"Me too!" Bohr nodded. They bustled in first, then Stellari walked behind them. For a moment Raditz stood undecided on the porch.
"C'mon! Don't just stand out there!" Bohr insisted, grabbing Raditz hand. Sighing, Raditz let the six-year-old boy drag him in by the hand.
"Can I order a pizza please mom?" Fermi asked, rushing to the phone.
"Don't tell me you've memorized the number to Antonio's," Stellari groaned.
"Extra pepperoni and sausage!"
"Oh well, I guess that'll have to do," Stellari relented. "Just remember to ask for an order of chicken Parmesan and… what would you like?"
"Er well…" Raditz blinked. "I eat a great deal…"
"If he's a Saiyan he'll need twenty," Fermi mumbled, counting on his fingers.
"Sausage and meat lovers," Bohr called.
"And I have the fixings for salads here," Stellari added.
"Aw Mom," groaned Bohr. Raditz still stood awkwardly in the kitchen while Fermi shoved the stepstool up and grabbed the receiver of the wall phone. He rapidly dialed the number from memory, while Stellari gave him the small list of orders she had scribbled down. Bohr added his own last minute choices then it was done.
"Now, who's going to help me make the salad, after we wash our hands first?" Stellari asked.
"Me," both twins raised their hands.
"Go on and wash up then. You'll find your favorite soaps and things in the bathroom," said Stellari.
Skittishly Raditz watched the boys rush off into the hall, then regarded Stellari with arms folded over his chest. "I'm… unaccustomed to whelps… but… I'm attempting to cope…"
"I think they like having a man around the house," Stellari said. "Don't worry Raditz, they know that I'm married. I showed them pictures of you, and they were a bit nervous at first. But Bohr always pesters me when I'm going to bring a 'new daddy' home."
"That's odd…"
"They don't remember much about their father… except that they knew that he…"
"Hurt you like a coward," Raditz added quietly to the stern look on her face.
"Fermi wasn't sure. He's very protective of me. Both of them can sense good from bad. That's why…"
"You left them around me?" Raditz asked.
"If they didn't like you they wouldn't even let that happen," said Stellari. "Besides they pretty much guessed that I wouldn't bring any man home to live unless I was… married."
"Very odd for this world. Where it's commonplace for a woman to bring a male into her dwelling… for mating…" Raditz winced.
"Not here. I won't bring a strange man home when my boys are here. It's just not good for them. And besides, this apartment of yours is rather nice… especially since you had those bunk beds delivered in the 'home office," Stellari nudged him. Raditz grunted, glad that he had asked Bliss about what sort of child furniture would be best. To her surprise he had gone ahead and had a designer add bunk beds and all manner of sports furniture to his home office.
He strode over and opened up the fridge. She laughed to see one side of it filled with health drinks and the other side stocked with milk, apple juice, soft drinks and other kid friendly items. At Stellari's glance he admitted, "Mrs. Briefs advised me in this… area… considering the Princess has a whelp of her own."
"Kids, Raditz, they're kids," Stellari rolled her eyes. "Or else children."
"Young ones," Raditz grumbled. A chorus of "oh wows!" came from the hallway and he rushed out of the kitchen to check the source. Standing in the doorway of a brightly painted room festooned with sports stars and other items he saw Fermi and Bohr crawling all over the place. One of them grabbed a stuffed bear and tossed it through the basketball hoop hung over a wooden toy box.
A portrait of Hercule Satan dominated one wall; he was their favorite wrestler. Other items included a portrait of Yamcha in baseball uniform posing with his favorite slugger, and the stacks of baseball cards and comic books neatly arranged in boxes and crates. Other personal toys were contained in other custom boxes and hold-alls. "My comic books!" Fermi laughed.
"Ooh, awesome, there's Uncle Yamcha!" pointed Bohr.
Raditz grumbled under his breath and Stellari gently leaned up to kiss his cheek. "Thank you. He was their sensei for a while…"
"But now my brother teaches them?" asked Raditz quietly.
"They're getting far too powerful for just Yamcha and the other Z warriors. Goku has agreed to train them a few days a week between getting ready for the Androids… while Gohan is being trained by Piccolo," said Stellari.
"Kakkarot is going to train them? But I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself," Raditz whispered, changing his speech to Saiyan.
"I… we'll talk about that later," Stellari blushed.
