"GOHAN IF WE ARE LATE, I WILL BEAT YOU SENSELESS!" Chi Chi screeched from where she sat in the car. In the backseat, Goten winced as his mother's high-pitched screams assailed his sensitive hearing.
There were several loud crashes from inside the house before Gohan emerged. He was trying to straighten his tie and put his shoes on at the same time, but he only managed to topple to the ground.
Heaving a long suffering sigh, Chi Chi stiffly crossed her arms as her eldest son managed to untangle himself and finish dressing. He trotted to the car and bent his long frame into the passenger seat, buckling up tightly.
"I swear, Gohan, you have the mind of a genius, but your common sense is zilch. You are the savior of Chikyuu and yet you can't even tie your shoes without falling over!"
Gohan felt himself blush to his toes as he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "Sorry, mom!"
Chi Chi slammed the ignition to start and the car sped off at an alarming speed, the entire way to Bulma's filled with her frustrated diatribe.

By the time they arrived at Capsule Corps, Bulma was frazzled beyond belief. She was waiting for them in the driveway, her foot tapping impatiently. When the car came into view and landed, she rushed forward, her face a tragic image of suffering.
"Oh, Chi Chi, thank Kami you made it! I am at my wits end! Between these new aliens and Vegeta this party is never going to begin!"
Bulma had called Chi Chi and informed her of the aliens the day they had arrived. Once Chi Chi learned these aliens were no threat and in fact here to help, she had been delighted. It was her belief that now Gohan would not have to save the world with these new additions. Bulma hadn't had the heart to destroy her dear friend's illusions.
Chi wrapped an arm around Bulma and set about calming her down. The two disappeared into the depths of the mansion to finish the final preparations. Gohan helped Goten out of the car who immediately divested himself of his jacket and tie and raced to find Trunks.
Shaking his head, Gohan went at a more sedate pace setting Goten's discarded clothes in a closet. He also shrugged out of his jacket, the heat making it just a tad unbearable. Loosening his tie, but not taking it off, he set off to find his friend, Trunks.
Despite the fact they came from different timelines, and that in the other one, Gohan had been his mentor, the two boys were close friends. They were about the same age and shared the same interests.
Gohan found the boy from the future in his spacious room, the entire contents of his closet strewn about the floor. Trunks was standing in front of the mirror, a dark purple shirt in one hand, and a black one in the other.
Spying Gohan from the mirror, Trunks turned around, a slightly panicked look on his face. "Which one should I wear? I don't know what to wear!"
"Calm down, Trunks. Just wear the purple one, you wore black the last time you saw her."
"Right, purple, hey, I am not trying to impress Cira!"
"Sure, Trunks, just keep telling yourself that."
Sending him a scowl that even Vegeta would have been proud of, Trunks shrugged on the purple shirt and dropped the black one to the floor. After straightening his hair that he'd pulled back away from his face, Trunks was ready to face the crowd.
Rolling his eyes, Gohan refrained from any more comments and followed his friend downstairs. The two found Vegeta sulking in the kitchen, a suit on his short frame. Gohan knew that if he laughed, his life would be forfeit and exerted all his self-control in keeping a straight face.
"Stupid woman! I hate these events! I don't even like her stupid friends!"
Trunks took a seat and absently pulled an apple from the bowl of fruit. "It could be worse, she could make you socialize."
Vegeta grunted, but did not say anymore, preferring to brood in silence. Gohan finally decided to take a seat and helped himself to some of the fruit. It would be awhile before the rest of the Senshi came, and wandering the house was only an invitation to help Bulma and his mother.

"I want to see the aliens, Trunks," Goten complained as the two boys sat outside under a tree.
"I told, you, Trunks, I will take you there in a minute. I have to make sure my mom and your mom are too busy to notice us. You don't want to have to help set up do you?"
"No," Goten confirmed emphatically. A few minutes past, "Can we go yet?"
Trunks hushed his friend as he spied the forms of Bulma and Chi Chi get into his mother's air car.
"Where are they going?" Goten asked, slightly bewildered. "The party is going to start soon."
"Probably went to get more food. We'll be feeding a lot of Saiyans."
The two waited until the car disappeared from sight before Trunks led the way to the back of the house. "No sense in getting caught by my father," he informed his little friend.
The two miscreants snuck past Vegeta and headed for the stairs. A few minutes later they were both standing in front of a slender wooden door. "Do you think she'll mind if we disturb her?" Goten asked, slightly worried. He'd never met an alien before and was not sure what to expect.
"Nah, she likes me," Trunks said proudly. "She said I could come visit her whenever I wanted to."
"Wow," Goten mouthed, "You're so lucky, Trunks!"
Trunks smirked and knocked softly. "I know."
The door opened to reveal a startling beautiful creature in a stunning pale blue sundress. Her long hair was pulled back from her face in low ponytail, stray strands framing her face. She did not wear any make up today, and her clear face smiled down at Trunks in delight.
"Hello, Trunks, have you come seek refuge from the preparations?"
"Err, yeah, mom's going crazy," he confided as the two entered the beautifully furnished bedroom.
"My mother was the same back home. My brothers and I would take our horses and escape the palace until the party began. It would drive her mad, but it was worth it."
Goten gaped at the alien in slight awe. Cira smiled down at him. "Who is your friend?"
"Oh," Trunks waved nonchalantly at the boy behind him, "This is Goten, he's Gohan's little brother."
"Hello, Goten, I am Cira."
"How many brothers do you have?" Goten blurted.
Light laughter filled the air. "I have three, Lucca, Maipe, and Lucian."
"Are they here to?"
Cira shook her head. "Lucian and Maipe are not, but Lucca is. He is down stairs checking the grounds."
Trunks plopped down in a chair and Goten sat next to him. Cira reclined on a sofa and sighed in contentment. "It feels wonderful to relax," she murmured.
"No kidding, wait till the rest of the Senshi get here, this place'll turn into a mad house!"
"I have heard of this Senshi, but I have never met them. Are they nice?"
"Yeah, but they aren't very strong, I mean, compared to my dad and Goten's dad. Then again, they aren't Saiyans either."
"Sometimes strength is not determined by our physical prowess," Cira reminded Trunks who merely shrugged.
"You're really smart," Goten breathed. "No wonder Gohan likes you!"
Cira blushed lightly. "Gohan is very intelligent and I do enjoy his conversation."
"You talk funny," Goten giggled. Cira laughed and reached over to pat his spiky head.
"Yes, I do speak different. In my home, these are our speech patterns."
"Whatever you say," Goten replied.
Cira laughed again, the sound like a twinkling bell. "I do like your friend, Trunks! You must bring him here more often!"
There was a loud rap on the door and Bulma's voice sounded from the hallway. "Everyone's here come on, Cira!"
Cira, Trunks, and Goten exited the room and followed Bulma down the stairs. Lucca was waiting at the bottom to escort his sister. Gratefully, Cira took his arm and smiled up at him. He smiled back and a wealth of information passed in one gaze.
Together, they entered the back yard where the Senshi had gathered, much greeting and back slaps in process. Cira smiled widely, enjoying the sensations of love and happiness that permeated the air. Lucca gently patted her hand, and she turned her smile to him. Despite their differences of opinion, the two siblings truly cared for each other.
"Everyone," Bulma yelled, "I'd like you to meet two new additions to our group!"
Silence descended as the Senshi all focused on the two aliens standing calmly under their scrutiny. Most of them had heard in some form about the strange aliens that had descended upon Bulma's home.
"I'd like you all to meet the Crown Prince of Elrondia, Lucca Ahern Catori and his sister, the Princess Miakoda Cira, she prefers Cira."
The Senshi all waved to them as Bulma began the exhausting round of introductions. She had just finished when a bright voice sounded over the crowd.
"Sorry I'm late, guys, Professor Hester wouldn't let us go until he'd finished elaborating on his theories. I brought some food….." Kitara's voice trailed off as she pushed her way to the front to hand Bulma her bag of dishes.
Lucca's eyes fell on the gorgeous sister of Bulma and gasped, his eyes widening until they were as plates.
"It cannot be!"
Kitara turned her eyes on the aliens and raised an eyebrow. Lucca rushed forward and embraced her tightly.
"Finally, Aunt Citlali, we have found you after all of these years! I had never given up the hope of finding you, I knew you were alive!"
